"I got permission," Mr. Bigmouth said. He then noticed the portal over the table that was stacked with weapons.

He moved the table out of the way and placed the teleport gem near it. The portal flashed bright green and widened until it was the size of an ordinary door.

Mr. Bigmouth stepped through it and to his surprise, he entered at the Thundering Falls Lake instead of his grove. He then returned to the hotel.

"Briggins," he said, "if you run out of room send them through this portal. It leads to the Great Valley."

Deimos dashed to his room and grabbed the chemical warfare suit that he had purchased from Pete's Munitions.

He donned the suit and hooked it up to one of the NUMA group's SCUBA tanks.

"Stripetail, I'm heading to see if there are any more in need of rescue," he said, voice muffled by the mask.

do what you can' stripetail merely said, as merlin appeared out of midair this time wearing a green dirty robe ' darn scots.. by the gods, what is this hubbub about my lord? he asked ' modern war.. they use the dealiests poisons, poisons uknown in your time, master Merlin" stripetail said sadly..' i wiil aid as best i can.. my powers are not what they used to be however, the the gods will flows through other channels theses days.

Jason got into his tardis and went to the console. Once there he set the coordinates for the pentagon area where he usually arrived at and the year 1917 so he could go through the usual id check then ask about if there was any known antidote to the version of the mustard gas used a few years previously.

If they dint' know he'd then go and ask his friend Dr McNider, aka the golden age hero Doctor Mid-Nite. And if he didn't know, surely Doctor Donald Blake, also Thor, should know.

He climbed out, and opened the passenger doors on the left. tigerss and genki climbed out, tigress supported nani and lilo, both of whom could barely see, stitch and angel looked at them worriedly. ' mesa punch those responsible fir this..' stitch snarled.

Deimos headed out of the hotel. He noticed that a yellow fog was starting to swirl around the hotel.

He passed by the Mystery Machine and headed to the shopping district. The skies were so dark that the street lights were coming on.

"Setsuna! You're not wearing any protective equipment!" Hans said.

"I can cure myself of poison," she said.

"This is not a poison you are used to."

"No one else is leaving this hotel' briggins said standing up on a chair " i am the manager of this hotel, and had been so for 45 years.. for safety reasons, no one should leave this hotel, until that poison gas is gone..."
_ Stripetail turned to See Scooby Dixie and the rest of their teasm trying to carry their friends inside. 'thank the gods you actuvated the armr. that saved your lives" He said to them. " carry them to the dinning room..' he said you can take off your helmets just leave the rest of the armor on..
the sounds of agonized cries filed the room, as victim after victinm, whether it be dog, cat,, human or bull, describes what they were doing..

Velma got out of the van and started doing her best to help folks get out of the van and wherever the others seemed to be headed.

Sara landed and did her best to help those she was carrying into the hotel.

Dixie gratefully took off her helmet, couhhing as she did so "What should we do Stripetail?' She asked "can we go back up our rooms to rest.. Stripetail nodded " Take some time to rest then get back here..

_ Chong grinned as he beheld images of the poisonous mustard gas blanketing the town " excellent! Much more effective this time.. and ' he grinned as the subcomponents began in ignite, causing fire to pop up across town. the orange flames cast strange shadows on the poisoned landscape..

Jason's tardis materialized in the same room in an out of the way corner. He came out with Guilmon carrying some stuff on trays. "I managed to get the recipe for the version of the 1917 version. Not sure how effective it'll be but it should at worst alleviate the symptoms and maybe speed up the recovery." Jason said. "I managed to make some and brought some saline solutions and some other medical supplies alas I have in the tardis." he said.

Deimos was now in the shopping district. The entire area was completely deserted except for several corpses lining the street. He entered a diving supply store where a group of shoppers were trying to stave off the gas by using the SCUBA tanks and the dry suit.

"You need to leave this place!" Deimos shouted.

"Who are you?"

"It's not important! You must make your way to the Inglorious Hotel before its too late!"

The group of shoppers got up and followed Deimos.

The dry suits were quite uncomfortable on dry land but it offered them some protection.

Several minutes later, Deimos arrived at the hotel with his survivors in tow.

He stripped off his protective equipment and placed it in a special case that protected it.

"Stripetail, these are all the survivors I found," he said, gesturing to the dry suit clad group.

The group took off their dry suits and masks. Several of them were burned but they were alive.

"Briggins, what exactly air purification methods do we have in here?" Dr. Zanasiu asked.

Haresh came out of the kitchen. "Is there any need for my healing capabilities?"

Setsuna was trying to purge the poison and heal the burns from a seriously burned Hyena female. The Hyena's burns healed completely and she was able to stand up and walk around.

Setsuna moved onto the next victim, a seriously burned and cut Golden Retriever boy of about twelve. She concentrated and his wounds began healing. As soon as she was done with him, she staggered over to a chair and sat down. "Water," she said. Hans fetched her a glass of water.

Deimos's radio beeped and he picked it up. "Carson City Camp's soldiers and vehicles are en route but we don't know if this gas will persist until tomorrow," he said.

Jason and Guilmon started going among the patients and doing what they could to help them. Going into the tardis to get new supplies once their started to get low of certain things they had enough of in the tardis.

Odysseus came down the stairs and started to help where he could. Not a fully trained doctor, but being 5,000 years old, more or less, he did pick up some stuff here and there in various ways.

"We may need to use magic to help seal the hotel off airwise. And maybe do a quick short term enchantment to keep the air purified. Maybe enchant some of the walls or ceiling." Sara said.

Stripetail nodded ' sign in with Briggins you will be staying here indefinitely" He said to the survivors " you are lucky, there are others, likely many others, who were not as fortunate..
Dixie and Scooby Rushed , along with Spyro and Cynder, up to their rooms. once inside the girls made sure the windows were shut tight. Tigress did the same in her room. agumon did the same in his..bulk shut the window while skull held up a candelbra, moving it around as if to protect himself..

tarrax nodded ' i can do that watch ' he focused and breathed into the air. it was a pale blueish jkind of breath, it ha the feel of a crisp cold morning in winter.. but the air was breathable..

Dr. Zanasiu shook his head. "We'll need a way to completely seal the hotel off from the outside air."

The survivors did as they were told, signing into the hotel.

Dr. Kerzach and the NUMA group were busy sealing the windows in their rooms.

Hans entered the observatory and noticed wisps of yellow gas seeping in through the opening for the telescope. He took a deep breath and dashed in to close the opening. The gas burned his eyes, and nose but he persisted.

Eventually he got the opening closed and locked the door behind him.

Unfortunately, he had been burned rather badly by the gas.

"Stripetail, the gas is leaking through the observatory but I managed to seal it off," he choked out.

"Neat and useful." Sara said as she watched Tarrax's spell and it's effect.

Sara went to get some cups and using some magic filled them and some empty pitchers with the magical essence of water. That way she knew not only would the water be pure, it would not tax any of the hotel's water supply, and being the magical essence of water folks would need less of it then regular water. She also liked the taste better then regular water, but taste wasn't' that important in this situation she thought.

Sara nodded and went over to wait to receive treatment.

"Sure, be right back." Jason said as he and Gilmon went in to get some more saline iv's and other things they were short or starting to run short of before they went back to helping folks.

Not sure what to do Brooklyn went to assist Odysseus with what he could.

Hans did as he was told. He was trying to ignore the pain of the burns he had received.

"Briggins, are there any more rooms?" Mr. Bigmouth asked.

"You know, the Great Valley could also provide a source of food and water. Vegetables and fish are quite abundant there," Strut said.

"We don't know if they're safe for consumption by these people."
