Mr. Bigmouth returned through the portal. "My first aid kit is stocked and ready to go. On a side note, it looks like some of the dinosaurs are also making their own interpretation of a first aid kit. Just a leaf bag with packets of various herbal medicines thrown in it," he said. He grabbed a piece of bark and put it in his mouth, savoring the sweet juices released as he chewed it.

Rime was eating some of the jerky.

"Didn't Mr. Bigmouth say that it's lair was a hot place?" Ms. Swimmer asked, eating some treestars.

I think so.. which means we're going underground..' dixie replied taking another drink from her cup of tea. " remember though the mintaur's lair was hot as well..real hot.. " it was a good thing i was wearing my armor.. otherwise my dress would have stuck to me.."

Rime shrugged. "Possibly days until the gas dissipates but since mustard gas is a persistent agent, the area around could be contaminated for months," he said.

"Just drink plenty of water," Mr. Bigmouth said.

"It's enormous," Mr. Bigmouth said. "I'd say that it can hold a fairly spread out medium sized town. However, if we port refugees over there, they cannot build anything modern as we need to respect the dinosaurs. They can pitch tents and build homes out of the materials they find there, though." Mr. Bigmouth then went over to the portal, stuck his head through and spat out the chewed up wad of bark.

Rime was cutting an orange watermelon-like into segments with a kitchen knife. He placed the pieces on the platter that held the salmon jerky. "Fruit anyone?"he asked.

" i mean, this place isn't exactly in the greatest condition, yeah weve sealed off the hotel for now.. but theres nob telling when it will lift.. and i don't relist being stuck in this hotel any more than necessary..

The Scarecrow came over with the Tinwoodman and a few others.

"I over heard part of your conversation and thinking with my excellent brains came up with what may be useful. Perhaps this hotel, as long is it stays sealed can be used as the main are, with folks who can move can visit the Great Valley for periods of time." He said.

"It may help folks to feel better." The Tinwoodman said.

"I remember Dorothy & her Aunt and Uncle talking about Kansas and how some folks get unhappy when there are some days where the sun is behind clouds for days or longer and how it makes people happier once the sun comes out." The Scarecrow said.

"We don't have weather like that in Oz currently, but I have heard that sometimes one of the wicked witches would make some weather like that. But it can gladden the heart then maybe some visits to the Great Valley will gladden the hearts of those here. Maybe more then the Wizard's shows and the dragon fellow's stories, even using magic." The Tin Woodman said.

"Well, Dirk's air compressor takes air from the Great Valley right?" Strut asked, munching on the fruit.

Mr. Bigmouth nodded. "It does, I tried my best to conceal the intake hose so it is not clogged or damaged," he said.

"Also, is the portal sealed against gas leaks?" Ms. Swimmer asked.

Mr. Bigmouth nodded. "Apparently so. It's like a window that lets you walk through it," he said. "Also Deimos, Dr. Zanasiu and myself have run tests on the Great Valley's atmosphere and it is safe for inhabitants of this world to breathe," he added. He was eating a piece of the fruit.

Rime pulled out a PDA from a messenger bag that he wore when ever he was not wearing his armor. "The temperature appears to fluctuate between 75-90 degrees and the humidity is always above 70%," he said reading off the PDA screen.

"Dehydration could be a serious risk in conditions like that. And remember, though we dinosaurs can drink straight from the rivers and lake without problems; no one else should do so without boiling the water. Also, if movement is needed, I may try to set up 'forage classes' to teach the refugees which plants are edible," Mr. Bigmouth said. He pitched the rind of the fruit through the portal where it sailed through and narrowly missed a Fast-Runner armed with a bow.

So at its hottest its like a sauna.. I'd sweat like crazy" Dixie said '70% humidity? thats really high. Now i grew up in the South so I'm used to warm temperatures, but not 70% humidity.."
_ You'd need lots of water for all those pepople' Tigress agreed. " how much people should we bring?"

Mr. Bigmouth thought a moment. "We should bring small amounts in, preferably Humans and reptiles as they can lose heat more rapidly. We also need to get the dinosaurs used to the refugees; we do not need another Gravel Pass incident," he said.

"However, temperatures drop to a more tolerable 60-68 degrees at night," Rime added.

"The water situation should be fine. We have a massive main lake along with several other smaller lakes, streams and rivers in the Great Valley. If we need to we can in fact set up small rain water collection systems as the Great Valley is also prone to rain," Strut said.

- Don't forget that we're likely on a different time frame here than they are there.. not to mention a difference in time period" dixie replied. By this time she had finished her tea, and Tigress had finished her water.

"There does appear to be a time difference, right now, it is day in the Great Valley." Ms. Swimmer said. She then looked at the clock. "And it is approximately 3:50 AM here. I would guess that there is a 12 hour time gap," she added.

The fruit tray was completely empty and Strut carried it back to the kitchen.

tigress started walking up the steps with Dixie "I'm sorry it took us so long.. i lost track of time.." dixie put her arm around her as they rounded up the second flight. "its alright.." Dixie smiled " It was a lot of fun dancing and then chatting with Ms Swimmer and the others..For your first time, you did quite well dancing..

Yeah, that water was great. It got rid of the smell and taste of vomitting.. Tigress said " i don't know why I threw up.. I'm starting to get worried.. the bug doesn't seem to have gone away..but .. Jason said I was fine!"

tigress led Dixie into the secret passageway on thr 5th floor, and they closed it behind them. They went down and turned down the corner, then They sat down next to each against the wall' So why here?" Dixie said" Um.. because its a private place and our rooms are crowded' Tigress said. "So.. er.. would you make out with me tomorrow night?. "Er I suppose" "You Promise..? Tigress looked at her " Sure. " dixie replied. "We'll kiss on it.. "Tigress Wrapped arms arpund Dixie and their lips met. The girls explored each others mouth then pulled away. "Ok.. so thats done. I'll make out with you tomorrow. Now lets head to our rooms and get to bed.." dixie said., getting up and heading back to the Enterance.. The girls headed out and down to the 4th floor as they paused in front Of Tigress' room, Dixie looked at her.. " Night Tigress, thanks for everything.." Thanks Dixie.. you're a real friend.. i'm looking forward to tommorow night.. "Yeah.. After tomorow you'll have a better idea of how you feel.." dixie Said. She Leaned over and kissed Tigress on the lips in parting. tigress reached for her and held her as the kiss ended The girls nuzzled each other, and Tigress opened her door, smiling. "I think I've found a real friend' She said to herself as she climbed into snuggled up against Tiger. She gave him a kiss on the snout Tiger Stirred and opened his eyes.'Tigress! When did you get in? Were you up all night? "I was .. hanging out.. There was a ghost party in the ballroom..'
- A ghost party? " Tiger looked at her "hmm..
'I learned how to dance.. ' Really? Tiger was surprised"Yeah, and I'm going to dance with you the next time theres a dance party.. "Why should I dance with you. "Because I love you and it would mean a lot to me!''Tigress said " Theres a reason I've been hanging out with Dixie and Agumina.. They're my friends and they understand what I'm going through.. " alright.,.. we'll go dancing tommorow.." Tiger grumbled heading back to sleep Tigress nodded"thank you.." She kissed him again, this time on the lips. "Next time.. don't stay up so late.." tiger said to her as She went off to sleep.

Its nearly 5" "Well You need your sleep."Cynder said. "Did you sleep at all? " Yeah a Little, The boys have been asleep for hours. Next Time, I'll come with you.." Dixie curled up next to Scooby. "You smell nice.. you took a bath? " Yes I needed it.. "
- do I need one? " no, you smell fine.." Cynder said wrapping her arms around Dixie as she settled against the Pillow opposite from Dixie, ' Night Cynder, I love you. "I love you too" Cynder whispered, as she leaned forward and kissed Dixie on the lips " Tomorrow, we're going after the demon..' Cynder said as she pulled away. Dixie felt Scooby sstir next to her ' Rhen rid rou ret rin Rixie.. Rits rearly rive "Go back to sleep.. I'm here' Dixie replied. Scooby Put his arms around her and Dixie placed her had on Scoobys chest. She felt Cynder snuggle against her. Dixie fell asleep, in the arms of those she loved.
