Sara awoke and made her way downstairs and headed to the tardis so she could take a quick shower and eat some breakfast, so as not to strain the hotel's resources.

Jason continued to take requests for certain movies, episodes to show those to some folks.

The Lipizzaners used their headlamps to illuminate the walls, which were now black and had what appeared to be ash on them.

Setsuna cast her light spell again as it had died out before.

The light opened up to reveal what could best be described as a stone colosseum. The basalt ceiling stood at least 20 feet high. What appeared to be bones littered the floor.

"Where's the demon?" Rime asked.

"Dunno," Dr. Zanasiu replied. He was sweating underneath his heavy armor.

"Rime, Deimos, sniping positions!" Dr. Kerzach whispered.

Rime and Deimos scrambled up a nearby carved stairwell and climbed to the top of the arena.

Mr. Bigmouth nocked a poisoned arrow into his bow.

"Nani, Shaggy, Nick, Stripetail - everyone, this is our finest hour," Dr. Zanasiu said.

dixie was sweating underneath her armor as she moved around the arena. 'WELCOME " boomed a voice. a huge demon strode into view it towered over the group, the energy radiating from it was palpable
-Are you the demon who has kept the curse on the hotel above/ ' stripetail demanded "The demon looked at him " Of course, mage.. I sense you are much stronger than the last one who tried to fight me..he learned the hard way that it is not wise to meddle in the affairs of magicians especially ones who can summon demons like me to their aid..

Sara paused at the foot of the stairs then headed to the tardis.

Moran went to the Great Valley to look around and see what he could see there, pausing once he was on the other side of the portal then he walked around the nearby area a bit.

Several of the Great Valley dinosaurs greeted Moran. The dinosaurs who greeted him were armed with bows and spears.

"Hello, Moran, I believe you just missed a demonstration of the Great Valley's martial prowess," a bow wielding Swimmer said.

Rime and Deimos had set up and loaded their rifles.

Dr. Zanasiu, Strut, Zachary, Mr. Bigmouth, Ms. Swimmer, Dr. Kerzach, Paul, Anton, Setsuna, Dirk, Clive, Jose, Al, Kurt, Franz, Werner, and Hans all strode forward with their weapons in plain view.

"And that's not all of us," Dr. Zanasiu said.

"Quite good," the Swimmer archer replied. "We have training very extensively in the past few days. Weapons production is also at peak output. In fact, even children have been working in weapons manufacture."

"Sounds like you are making quite a few and stockpiling them. I hope the children have some time to play. Unless they see what they are doing as a new type of playing or a game." Moran said.

The archer nodded sadly. "Most of them do have time to play but a fair number of them see the weapons manufacture as a game. We don't have them handle poisoned weapons. We mostly have them gather resources and do the rough shaping of arrowheads, spearheads and knives," he said.

A Fast-Runner with a spear also jumped into the conversation. "The so-called 'Twilight Hatchlings' - dinosaurs who were born or grew up during the War of the Beyond - see war itself as a game. I know for a fact that we will have more of them," he said. He then shook his head. "Seeing the 'Twilight Hatchlings' play is terrifying; children engaging in horrifically realistic reenactments. All that's needed is swapping out the overripe fruits for real weapons," he added sadly.

Moran nodded, "Sad indeed, but perhaps things can change and they will learn to see things differently." He said sighing a bit. "Though hopefully it will not be something very bad happening to have them see what war and battle are really like." he said.

A blue corona flashed around Setsuna. "I can as well!" she shouted.

"Weapons and skill can more than compensate for magic!" Mr. Bigmouth shouted. An arrow laced with penthium poison was at the ready.

"Rime, Deimos, don't shoot yet," Dr. Zanasiu said into his radio.

Setsuna's corona grew even brighter. "Breaking the curse is our goal and we will not be deterred!" she shouted.

"For the future of the Inglorious Hotel!" Dr. Zanasiu shouted. He and the rest of the group were taking cover behind various pieces of rubble.

The rest of the group took up his war cry.

"Stripetail, give us the okay and we'll start shooting," Deimos's voice came in through Stripetail's radio.

The husky pointed to some various foods they had to choose from and looked at Muzzle. "How about this one?" He asked, as a way of letting Muzzle choose what he wanted for breakfast.

Velma was eating some of her breakfast in the dining room.

Suddenly, several gunshots echoed around the arena as Deimos and Rime fired several shots at Astaroth.

"All right let's rock and roll!" Mr. Bigmouth said, pulling his bow back and sending a poisoned arrow at Astaroth. He quickly loaded another poison arrow into his bow.

Setsuna conjured up a cloud of noxious green gas directly over Astaroth.

The rest of the Pelvanida group, the NUMA group and Werner opened fire with their weapons.
