Insane Cafe 3: The Curse of the Haunted Hotel

One retreating helicopter did attempt to retreat, only to have a vehicle thrown at it by the dragon as it crashed down into the streets bellow.  The dragon in question was not listning to Chong's orders one bit, as it would only listen to one person, and that person happened to be Roze.

Roze and Myra on the other hand, continued to battle it out above the sky, until Roze got the upper hand, actually managing to get an electrical attack in on Myra, shocking her before throwing her own fireball at her sister.

Myra was struck head on, her wings being damaged as she fell from the sky with Roze just smirking on "You see sister, this is why I'm better than you, this is why I will always be better than you, this is why you will never be able to actually defeat me in combat" she laughed.

Myra struck the ground, skidding along the ground a foot or two before coming to a hault.  She, however, slowly got to her feet, yet, was feeling badly injured by now as she looked up at Roze, who in turn, just blew her a little kiss before watching her regrouping.

we need to get out of here..' jusa said dashing away from the imps who were chasing here..

The imps in question, stopped chasing Jusa, seeming to have gotten bored with her at the moment, looking at Myra for a second, making faces at her, more or less just teasing her.

Myra was feeling far too weak at the moment to attack back as she stood there, not able to run at the moment, too weak to do so after having been overpowered by her sister.

The mages heard Chong's command and they made their to the beach. The mundane soldiers followed them.

"Negative, Commander. We have just recently arrived from Telson Airforce Base and are fully armed and operational. Wildfire out," the radio crackled.

Ms. Swimmer and her group staggered into the hotel.

"Water," she said.

Several SPFAS members handed glasses of essential water to the saurian warriors.

Ms. Swimmer gratefully accepted the glass and drank it down. Almost immediately, she felt the bruises and scratches healing.

Haresh had filled his messenger bag with good. "Eevee, we're heading back now. We've got to prepare dinner for the troops," he said.

Deimos, Rime and some SPVDF snipers were picking off some soldiers who tried to approach the building from the back.

One of Cobalt Squads MLRS vehicles sighted the large stone dragon and launched 3 high explosive cluster missiles at it.

  spyro and cynder blasted awway with their attacks but found they were not very effective against metal

The dragon let off another roar from being attacked so much, the missiles striking more of its stone skin.  It turn to face the vehicle as it was then attacked by two smaller dragons.  It flapped its wings and moved into the sky, flying over to the attacking vehicle first, landing on it as it bit down upon the roof, ripping it off the vehicle and looked at the driver of it, growling some.

Myra sat down onto the broomstick, looking to Jusa "And here I thought I was going to be the one to protect you...."

Setsuna made her way out of the hotel. She spotted "Wildfire" hovering overhead. The chatter of its 25 mm autocannon taking apart some enemy soldiers echoed through the air.

"Where's Destiny and her PokÈmon?" Setsuna asked.

Just as she finished her question, another mortar shell struck the hotel, finally causing it to collapse with a mighty crash.

The Bull trucker pulled into the "parking lot" of the Inglorious Hotel.

He, Mr. Bigmouth and the surviving troops disembarked and entered.

"Logistics team, more ammo," the trucker said.

Mr. Bigmouth helped himself to a glass of essential water as did the other soldiers.

Destiny, Pikachu and Vaporeon were holding back some more soldiers, with Pikachu sending off a powerful Thunder attack in the process.

Eevee looked over to Haresh "Wait!" she called out, still trying to heave her load over, especially after having put more stuff onto the leaf, grunting still in the process.

scooby and dixie reached themystery mnachine and climbed in. tai, sora biyomon and genki ran over to the van and climbed in.tiger and tigeress soon joined them, and scooby rushed towards the west side of town, pushing hard to reach the safety of the hotel..

Velma slipped away from the others and found a place to quickly morph and to attack the invaders to try to give some cover to the retreating forces.

Jason continued to change tactics, doing lightning, fire, and other things with Growlmon.

 The others continued to attack also, continuing to move to try to keep from being pinned down and being to injured.  The teams would keep at least 1 attacking with the wounded being quickly treated before they all went back to attacking.

[Serris]

Cpl. McCoun spotted the stone dragon outside the hotel. "All units engage!" he shouted into the radio.

Outside the hotel, anti-aircraft vehicles, the 25 mm autocannon turret, combat robots and Humvees aimed their weapons at the dragon.

A few seconds later, they all opened fire, pouring 25 mm autocannon shells, anti tank and anti air missiles into the dragon's body.

The drones above shot down a helicopter gunship that tried to lock onto the hotel. The gunship spiraled out of control and destroyed an abandoned cafe.

Anton parked his Humvee and ran into the hotel with the other members of the group following. Each of them were carrying their weapons.

A waiter helped Eevee move her leaf.

Several SPFAS members carried some injured soldiers through.

"Maybe we should let the emergency teams through first,' Haresh said.

The dragon roared as its stone skin shattered off, revealing its whole mechanical body.  The dragon bit down upon the driver, bitting the head of him off before taking off into the sky, slamming into a nearby building to send giant debries off the building and onto the vehicles bellow.

The mechanical dragon in question was sparking a little bit as it flew away from the town, bitting down upon a nearby helicopter's tail, sending it falling down to the ground, crashing into one of the vehicles that were attacking the dragon as it landed a while away from the hotel, on a rather tall building, giving off another loud roar.

Eevee giggled a little bit "Um, thanks....it was really heavy" she spoke as she put something else onto the leaf as well, adding more weight to it.

Jason and Growlmon continue to fight, moving quickly from place to place to present less of a target to areas where they were.  

Odysseus does much the same, using his dwarven bow and taking out the person who he deems most tactical or strategically best taken out.  

Sara and Velma separately battled the invaders to give cover for those retreating back to the hotel.  Also some bits of ruins battle the invaders as temporarily  enchanted by Sara's uncle.  Also trees and bushes do battle also, many armed with guns he took and gave to them with any extra ammo he could find.

 - nick looked at his hands as he ran towards a nearby vehicle, thery were shaking terribly, from recoil.. ' this is only the beginning of the invasion i wobnder how wekk he are doing..

Terry battled the invaders with the extreme dinosaurs.  He remained behind them since they at times used the saurian stomp power of theirs, sometimes bullseye and the others used their individual powers also.  They attacked various infantry and used the saurian stomp against vehicles to try to get at least part of it in the crack in the earth so it could not advance with Stegs curling up into a ball and using his power to cut some in half.  

Dynaman battled infantry, leaving the vehicles to the extreme dinosaurs and providing some cover fire for them also.

Within an hour, nearly everyone had reached the safety of the Hotel. The losses the defenders had suffered in terms of dead and injured were very high. there were at least 500 dead, and dozens more injured.

 i want  a report in from all groups!" Stripetail said. "We need to know how many we've lost and roughly how many of the enemy we have killed. .. their numbers were bigger than Haresh reported.. ' he sighed as he sat down in a chair..

Chong glowered at his forces "We have lost several thousand men, and about half of my metal army! You are supposed to be elite forces, and yet you have failed so far to crush an assortment of talking animals!Very Very disappointing... Mr Goat, about how many of the enemy have we killed?"

[Serris]

We shot down at least 6 helicopter gunships and blew up 2 Humvees. A missile strike wiped out a platoon of 350 men. One of our squads blew up a building in which at least 150 soldiers were hiding. And my unit ambushed and slaughtered 450 combatants while losing only 60 men out of 200. And those are just the ones I know of," the Goat said. "In any case Chong, the high altitude bomber is flying overhead. I can order an air strike on the hotel," he added.  He then turned to his soldiers. "This is unacceptable! I want more effort or I will have you all of you f---ers court-martialed!" he barked.

"My squad has eliminated a 500 man Dragonstorm squad but at a high cost. Out of 200 men, only 39 survived," Mr. Bigmouth said.

Dr. Zanasiu sighed. "Myself, Zachary, Anton and Paul are the only survivors of an ambush that claimed the rest of our 50 man squad. We managed to kill only 30 soldiers," he said.

Ms. Swimmer looked down. "Nearly my entire ambush team is gone. Myself and 4 others are the only survivors. But we killed 30 soldiers in ambushes,"

the hotel will be protected by those dragons..' Chong shook his head.  Launch the strike on the west section of town, where the road leads into the town. that is where they will enter...
- we're all here' Dixie said taking off her helmet. her armor was dented with bullet impacts..scooby took his off his face was drawn and paale
 Tai spoke up.. ' all the Digimon are accounted for.. Mimi and Kari were shaking..
 the imperial dragon messenger came forward, 37 of our numbers are badly injured..
 I lost 42 of my men Capt Milos said " we killed 112 of the enemy, though they still greatly outnumber us.."

Roze just chuckled slightly as she sat on her broomstick, looking into the distance to her dragon as she floated over Chong and Mr. Goat, refusing to answer Chong's question on how many she had killed as she knew her imps were still running rampard in the city, killing whoever were pinned down as the dragon remained where it was, in the middle of the city, sparking a little bit still from the damage it had sustained.

Myra stood as best as she could in the hotel, breathing a bit heavily from the damage she had sustained, looking around "Where is Pandora?" she asked herself, sounding a little annoyed as well that she wasn't around to help as she had promised to.

[Serris]

"You got it," the Goat said. He then radioed the bomber to loiter over the road and wait for his command to drop the bombs.

Stripetail's radio crackled. "Stripetail, this is Wildfire, we have a visual on an incoming unmarked helicopter. Request permission to engage?"

Cpl. McCoun entered the room. "We lost 2 Humvees, an anti aircraft missile vehicle and a multiple launch rocket system and at least a 100 men out of 350. I did radio for reinforcements but I do not know when they will arrive," he said.

Strut took off his helmet and wiped his face with a towel. "Should we have a meal?" he asked. His armor was covered in bullet impacts.

The weapons team was busy loading all the weapons of Cobalt Squad and the SPVDF.

"Stripetail, there are no more charged arrows," Clive said. "I feel that placing the charging containers in the hotel and giving the archers the charged arrows would be safer," he added.

Setsuna gulped down a mana potion. Her beautiful blue cape was tattered and full of bullet holes and scorch marks. ""

A Fast-Runner entered through the portal. "Stripetail, Overseer Threehorn wishes to speak to you. He has acquired some new allies," she said.

Outside the hotel, several allied drones and helicopter gunships patrolled the hotel. Several fires were burning around the city.
