Deimos shrugged. "They've been fighting as hard as we have. They deserve some time to relax," he replied. True to his words a lot of the younger audience members were wearing holsters with pistols in them. Some had unloaded shotguns or rifles slung across their backs.

Capt. Gatara sniggered as she recalled one of Deimos's risque jokes.

What war lasted 116 years? Daphne asked stunned by the sheer length of that war' The Hundred Years War, between two rival royal houses in France. It started in 1337 and didn't end until 1453. they didn't actually keep on fighting for all 116 years, it was really four separate wars, but I;m rambling' The ghost said " at any rate, the time we have spent fighting this war is a blink of an eye relatively speaking.. It helps that we have very competent leadership.." the ghost chuckled..

The bloodroot processor was now totally finished. While it was capable of grinding and solvent treating in one step, manual labor was required to remove and incinerate the spent pulp and wash the bloodroot.

Mr. Bigmouth was busy washing some of the bloodroot. He tossed some of the roots into the conveyor belt that led to the grinder. The sound of the two engines running drowned out pretty much everything else.

The Pelvanida group and Ms. Swimmer were eating fruit tart.

"So how are we going to retake Neptune City?" Zachary asked.

"From what I heard, Mr. Bigmouth's working on some sort of chemical weapon," Rime said. He was eating some sweet fish jerky.

"Erm are you sure that's a good idea?"

Strut shrugged. "We don't have a choice," he said.

_ Refugees were entering the hotel though the portal, many of them carried their possessions on thier backs. Most of them showed relief at being back in the hotel, there was whispers of seeing others get eaten by , or seeing them crushed in the rockslide. The number of the refugees returning was smaller, as they lost over 400 while in the Valley, most from the rock slide, but a handful friom getting eaten by predators..
Stripetail entered the lobby and went to the dining room. " Well everyone as you can see the refugees are returning from the great valley. There was a large rockslide which took many of them, so for safety reasons, along with increased safety in the area around the hotel, they are returning here..
_ Mr Stripetail, Nick mentioned a party in thwe ballroom tonight.." Sora said looking up from her food

Why not? it'll have to be shorter than the one we had before the war, but we do need something to entrtain ourselves..

Parts of the city were still on fire from the bombardment and rubble littered the streets.

Deimos got off the stage to let another amateur comedian try their hand.

He then entered the dining room to grab a bite to eat.

Mr. Bigmouth was busy working with the root washing crew.

He washed a large bloodroot plant and tossed it into the conveyor belt.

Two soldiers wearing wearing haz mat suits were busy shoveling the spent pulp into the incinerator.

The container for the bloodroot extract was actually below the still as the solvent evaporated sooner than the bloodroot toxins. A cooling system repurposed from an industrial freezer condensed the solvent so it could be reused.

Scooby and Dixie returned to the dning roon. Dixie had changed her dress, she was noe wearing a light red one,which ran down to her knees.
Tiger and Tigeress joined them as did Agumon and Agumina.
Spyro and cynder sat at a nearby table. " So are you guys going to the dance? Spyro asked ' we could use the entertainment- as long as you're not making me sing..
- Getting any good at the sax? Shaggy asked agumon " Haven't played it in awhile"Agumon replied.. "And I 'm not very good anyway..

the next big area besides neptune city is tarus city about 100 miles east of neptune city. it has a population of 120,000 although from what i've been hearing most have evacuated ' captain milos said..

"Maybe a thin enough spray so it's an invisible gas if it is not normally invisible, so at least at first they would not know there is poison present in the air, not at first anyway." Odyseuss said.

"We don't know if the heat from the explosion will destroy the chemical. Remember, plant based materials are heat sensitive," Rime said. He was leaning back in a chair.

"That won't work, Captain," Deimos said. "That will only allow us to target small areas. But it will work against groups of infantry."

"It was used against us," Ms. Swimmer said, stopping. "The powdered root was thrown into our lake. Drinking the lake water led to death in a day or so."

Two refugees entered the portal to watch the archery competition.

Mr. Bigmouth arrived at the foyer. He was covered in dirt and muddy water.

"We can use explosives to disperse them. Provided they are low-temperature explosives. The enchanted rocks work perfectly. And the best part is that the bloodroot mist is nearly invisible," he said.

"How much do we have?" Rime asked.

Mr. Bigmouth motioned for a waiter to fetch him some beer. "I estimate that with the amount of bloodroot we harvest, we have enough for maybe four bombs - each with a payload of fifteen pounds of concentrated bloodroot."

Strut, Zachary, Dirk, Al, Jose, Clive and Kurt were eating some Great Valley fruits as they sat in the "spectator seating" near the Great Lake. Several torches were lit around the arena in preparation for the archery competition. Several fruits were set out on rocks in the distance. Several dinosaur (and non-dinosaur) archers had their bows ready.

Ceela waved as she marched past them with her bow slung across her shoulder.

Dirk saluted back.

"Maybe some sort of gas grenade. Best if it can disperse the gas silently so to not alert the enemy." Odysseus said.

"Or there are enough ambient sounds nearby to help mask the sound the gas bomb may make." Brooklyn said.

Jason, Guilmon and the others went into the portal to look around.

"Looks like a big park." Slo jin said.

"Very big park." Guilmon said looking around and sniffing also. "Very big. lots of plants and others I can smell." He said.
