The cruise missiles that had launched towards Cobia bay had been shot down but at one managed to destroy an ammunition dump on the city outskirts.

Explosions blossomed across Sunberry as the precision munitions leveled a National Guard armory, assorted fortifications and several ammunition dumps. The bombers wheeled back to Chong AFB to rearm and refuel after they dropped their bombs.

The sound of Chong's army on transport planes approaching the city was faintly heard. They were following behind the bombers.

The Extreme Dinosaurs were eating their breakfast, quite a bit since they were pretty large in size compared to regular humans.

Mikey went off to get some breakfast along with Leonardo and Raphael as well.

"No candy or sweets till later." Raph said, "those are not good things to eat before a battle." he said.

Cpl. McCoun opened up his laptop, which showed information from a friendly spy plane. "It looks like most of them were shot down or missed their targets. But one destroyed and ammunition depot," he replied. He was trying to eat some hashbrowns as he relayed the information.

Jason took out a small plastic rectangular box. He opened it and took out to small things the size of warts, putting one behind each ear. He offered the open box to Guilmon who did the same. Then Jason closed the box and set it down. Using his wrist computer he then had the box project a small holographic type tv up on their table, sized so he and Guilmon could watch it and put up a 2d Droopy cartoon they started to watch as they ate their breakfast.

The wart size devices they had put behind their ears were a type of earphone that conducted the sound through the skull, leaving their ears free. It also enabled them to watch without disturbing anyone else.

The sound of the vehicles starting up echoed through the dawn air.

"Stay safe!" Clive called from the entrance of Ft. Inglorious.

scobby pulled out of the gates followed by nani and stitch, then Hunter in the roovermovbile.. "Hang on Rovers" he said to the others.

the convoy started down the road towards Surf Point, from there it would turn south towards Cobia
dixie settled back in the passenger seat scooby drove on. the light inside the van were tuyrned on to keep everyone from nodding off. 'if i nod off honk the horn scooby' doxie said 'her ring said that it was 4;36 am. they had made very good time .

Jason, Guilmon and a few of his friends were riding with the road rovers. The english sheepdog had pulled some coffee cups and a thermos to pure some folks some coffee, including himself.

"Nothing like a nice warm cup of the joe to keep one awake." the siberian husky said.

"Is your extra storage due to pockets, or just a natural ability?" Jason asked the english sheepdog.

The english sheepdog responded which Jason understood. "Ah, similar to Velma and Captain Caveman's then, a natural ability. Though with Captain Caveman it's in his fur also, Velma's is behind her back. I heard rumors that one of the animated harlem globetrotters has that ability."

(ooc: the globetrotters refers to a cartoon I doubt any here have heard of, but is a cartoon i watched as a kid, the 2nd show, the super globetrotters. The first cartoon show just had them solving mysteries like scooby, who they met several times).

9 i remember the super globetrotters it lasted fir a season or 2. like the other teamwouldn't notice them wearing silly costumes and not put 2 and 2 together)

tigress curled up on the seat and tried to get a few minutes of sleep, despite the light inside
bulk and skull were in the back seat along with genki gabumon and matt..
spoyro and cynder were flying alongside the fan, the winfd allowed them to avoid falling asleepp..

The sheepdog reached into his fur and took out another thermos, this one filled with hot chocolate which he offered to Colleen.

"yes, waking up early can be hard on some species. Though some like Vulcans can go without sleep for days, and there are others who don't go on a 24 hour clock." Jason said.

The trucker was sleeping in the back of the vehicle. Another soldier volunteered to drive for him.

Several of he troopers were getting some additional sleep in the passenger compartment.

The soldiers in the back of the Mako transport truck did a double check of their weapons.

The Bull trucker's voice crackled over the radios. "Be advised, our bloodroot bombs have just been used in Cobia Bay," he said. "Wear protective suits before you exit."

Mr. Bigmouth took that time to recharge his protective amulet.

the stench of bloodroot soon became clear to those passing though as they approached the outskirts of the city suiddenly there was a loud explposion that hit near the mystery machine cynder and thrown back by the recoil.. 'everyone get into defensive positions! out of your vehicles" Dixie spolke into her ring.. and soon the mystery mschine empitied.

Velma got out of the mystery machine with the others. She held her nose so she would not have to breath in the stench.

"I do wonder if we should have brought gas masks." She said.

"Do all of you have weapons?" Jason asked. "I wonder where the others are in relation to where we are." Jason said. He put on his goggles and turned on his wrist computer to get a readout of where the others were in relationship to their current location.
