Sara nods, "There are a few, like dwarf tossing the larger dragons do. The dwarves are well paid and put on plate armor and have a shield they hold in each hand." Sara said.

Still accidents happen. I onnce threw a troll through a tree. He was alright, but left a huge hole in the tree. The tree is still there, as is the hole. I think they hung a placard underneath the hole marking the date this happened. The troll is still around, believe it or not, he's several thousand years old, doesn't get around as well as he used to, name's Cirdalic.

Sara nods, "I have some of both. One has a big hobby of peering into other worlds to get ideas for new designs of enchanted items, like flying easy chairs, flying recliners, flying enchanted sports cars (that have no and need no engine since they are enchanted) and other things like that."

Dr. Zanasiu, Dr. Kerzach, Rime and Mr. Bigmouth entered the dining room and began helping themselves.

Zachary had already finished a large bowl of pasta with marinara sauce and went back for a second helping.

Up in Stripetail's room, Deimos was guarding the entrance. It was still raining outside.

"Stripetail, do you think we'll eventually need to learn magic?" Deimos asked. "I shot our white coated bounty hunter about 20 times and didn't even hurt him. And if we meet more like him, we won't be able to do anything against them."

Well, perhaps you could try buying armor-piercing bullets, granted that may not work with enchanted armor thiough. as for learning magic, well, you really have to either be born with magical abilities, or be given magical items" stripetail said. "I take it you wabnt to be prepared in any situation.. But if you don't have magical abilities from birth, you really can't learn magic, i'm afraid Deimos.."

The Tourist nodded and giggled a bit, "Don't forget the cheese and chocolate golems one of your uncles made for the new year's celibration. As I recall they were pretty popular, though surprising to some. "

Sara nodded, "then there was the beer golem, even stranger. Did you hear who made that one?"

The Tourist shook his head, "No, but it was pretty popular with certain dragons and dwarves."

Sara nods, "I can imagine. I guess it's the same all over."

"I'm not sure if any can eat as much as Guilmon can. I remember in the first one he attended he must have eaten half the bread golem just by himself." The Tourist said laughing at the memory. Then he wanted some of the cheese and candy golems too."

"I remember how big his belly was before he finally felt full." Sara said laughing.

"Then he slept for about 3 days." The Tourist said.

"Boy was Moran embarrassed. He pretended to never have met the him before." Sara said.

"It took a couple of dragons to carry Guilmon back to my rooms so he could sleep off his feast in his bed." The Tourist said.

"I heard the dwarves and some dragons had a bet on how long before he would stop." Sara said.

"All true." The Tourist said, both laughing and giggling from the memory.

Deimos shrugged. "You said that magic does not affect bullets. Would an anti-tank rocket work against him? And once this rain clears, a few of us are going to retrieve our weaponry from Shaggy's house and get some rockets."

Magic does not affect bullets MUch" stripetail clarified. Magic can deflect bullets...if they are fired from some distance awway. There is no need to bring rocket launchers in this hotel, beside the manager most likely won't allow them on the premises. Go, get your weapons, and ammo, and scour the hotel for anything odd. Many odf us are going into town after the rain stops."

The Tourist shakes his head, "I don't bet, even on sure things. But if you need some money I do have some stuff worth a thousand here on me. How about this comic I'm reading, or..." The tourist said and reached into his pockets searching, "Can't find my credit/debit card, but I have found this uncut emerald. I'm sure one of them is worth at least a thousand, here, take one or both of them. Not like I need money with the fortunes I have across a number of worlds." He said offering the superman issue 1 and the uncut emerald to Shaggy.

Zachary had eaten his 3rd bowl of pasta.

Dr. Zanasiu was eating a pork stir fry.

Strut was eating a vegetable stir fry.

Rime had finished eating his steak and was carrying a plate with 4 steaks out of the cafeteria.

"Rime! Aren't you full?" Mr. Bigmouth asked.

"It's for Deimos." Rime replied. He then walked out of the cafeteria and into the lobby.

Dr. Kerzach was working in the kitchen. He noticed something odd by the back of the kitchen but kept it to himself.

"Ah Dr. Kerzach, you have a nice day?" Haresh asked.

"Yes. I had a nice day Mr. Devarajah." Dr. Kerzach responded, not looking up from his pot of pasta.

Deimos sighed. "Great, we do all of our shooting at ranges of 40 or so feet. Guess that leaves explosives and melee weaponry or point-blank shots."

Deimos then headed down to the lobby.

After several minutes he approached Briggins. "Hey Briggins, can we bring in some antitank rockets in case we get attacked by armored forces or foes immune to small arms? And where can we place the ammo and weapons we'll be bringing in later."
