Major Lockie flashed his lights at the Guardians to signal that they should follow him to the airport.

Meanwhile, fresh troops from Southport and Surf Point had arrived and were getting ready to head out on the offensive.

Some volunteers from the Cobia Bay survivors had also joined up.

"Hello, everyone," Ms. Swimmer said as she stepped out of a helicopter. She had her magic staff and twin sticks ready.

"So what brings you here?" Zachary asked as he loaded his rifle.

"Tagged along with some volunteers."

Just then he noticed dixie and a smirk grew on his face.. "just a minute ' well helo thee' he smirked, as Dixie stopped and stared at him ' Yeah itme Sparx.. you remember..? " after the 40 minuts and ten seconds of heck you put me through, i'd have a hard time forgetting you Sparx ' Dixie said sourly.. 'So how are you and Cynder.. um.. getting on?' fine, not that is any of your business sparx.. Besides I have more important mattrs to worry about at the moment.. we're in the middle of a war here..

Er.. Stripetail. Spyro said coming up to him. " our Mentors the Guardians have been brought here.. ' And you want me to explains so you don't get reamed out for not contacting them since I brought you here.. I'll see what I can do.." sptripetail said. turning and heading towards the front door, reaching it juast as Terrador entered. " ah, you must be one of the guardians Spyro's talked to me about.. Terrador, is that right? " And who might you be? Terrador said surprised that this creature knew his name " Lord stripetail at your service, de facto commander of Seaboard coalition. Spyro and Cynder have been assisting me in waging a war against an evil wizard named Chong.. 'How long has this war been ongoing? Volteer asked. " Almost 5 months now.. "So that would explain thier absense up to a point.. if I may ask' Cyril began..Why didn't you ask us? 'this war did not start until after I brought Spyro and Cynder here to investigate the strange occurrances happening at the Inglorious hotel..and they obviously never told you about my arrangements with them..which might have helped in this little dustup.."

Terrador said " yes for at least a year.." stripetail said " We need all the help we can get , and any assistance you can lend will be invaluable.. ah.. this is my good friend tarrax' striptail added as Tarrax came up to them. Tarrax towered over the guardians, in fact he was bigger then the three of them put together. ' greetings lord tarrax of dragomalin at your serviuice. Tarras nodded. " I am Terrador, the Earth dragon. " I'm Volteer the Lightning Dragon, "and I'm cyril, the Ice dragon..
" Aren't there foiur of you? Tarrax asked. "We loat ignitus about a year ago Terrador said sadly.. 'Its a plesaure to meet your acquitance Lord Tarrax.. Volteer said.. " You are probabnly looking for Spyro and Cynder, they are in the dinning room.. Please grab yourselves a quick snack, and are leaving on an offense in a few minutes..

Major Lockie landed and introduced himself to the three guardians.

"If you'll excuse me, I need to refuel," he said as he rolled away to the fueling area.

"Good luck!" a Bald Eagle volunteer said as he watered one of the tomato plants in what was the front terminal where check-ins occurred.

Several APCs and ad-hoc armored vehicles (including the Rovermobile, Mystery Machine, Nani's SUV and the Mako truck) were waiting to carry the troops to Neptune City.

"Let's do this!" Deimos cried, thrusting his .50 caliber rifle into the air.

Alright everyone on the ground, get into your vehicles " stripetail said " thoe that can fly, takke off.. those who have various forms, please change to your prefered form.. " We are going after Galena and Neptune City.." stripetail called out.

Spyro and Cynder came to the Guardians who gave them nonplussed looks. " Why did you contact us? Terrador said.. " we spent weeks searching for you, only finally to get here, and find you'vebeen involved in a war all this time.."

_ scooby Dixie Agumon Agumina Tiger Tigeress and Genki all climbed in. biyomon Sora nani, lilo and Stitfh and Angel climbed in the back seat.

"Huh? What;s going on here?" Bender asked the archer.

"We asked first, buddy!" was the only responce he got.

"I got a package to deliver to the Professor, at fort inglorious."

"Really?" The soldiers lowered their weapons. "Fine, but no time for that right now, we need new recruits! Theres a war to fight, you know."

Bender looked kind of peeved at first, but then brightened up at the mention of violence. "Aw yeah, this is gonna be fun on a bun!"

Bring the New REcruit along" one the soldiers nearby said " Load him on one of the vehicles, we're throwing him to the wolves, as the saying goes, but thats unavoidable given the state of our forces..
- hunter drove the Rovermobile out behind the Mystery Machine.. " Alright Rovers we're taking it to e," He grinned..

The soldiers quickly ushered Bender to Stripetail, who was in the "loading bay" (the former curbside luggage drop off).

"Commander, we found him wandering Cobia Bay. He says he's got a package to deliver to Ft. Inglorious," the archer said.

Several other volunteers loaded ammunition, food and other supplies into the waiting vehicles.

Major Lockie thundered down the runway as he took to the skies with Tarrax, Sara and the other dragons.

"Guess we should get ready to go." Odysseus said as he started to get up. "Makes me wish I still had some of the old round table armor, though I doubt it would work well against bullets."

"Not to mention armor restricts your movement and agility." Brooklyn said.

"We can manage somehow without it, as we always have in the past." Jason said, also getting up. "Let's head out and help win this." He said.

"Sorry but we'll need to escort you to Ft. Inglorious ourselves," a soldier said.

Two soldiers flanked Bender and headed to the airfield where a small helicopter was waiting.

They quickly ushered Bender into the helicopter and shut the doors as the pilot started the engine.

Soon the helicopter flew into the night sky.

(Ft. Inglorious)

Captain Milos's radio buzzed as he received a transmission from the pilot. "Captain Milos. This is Papa-Kilo-Quebec, we are escorting a deliveryman. He says its contents are to be delivered to The Professor. We request that you examine the contents. Papa-Kilo-Quebec out."

(Cobia Bay)

The massive convoy headed out of the airport. A few MLRS vehicles from Southport had arrived to join the offensive; their long range cluster rockets were perfect for attacking infantry platoons. Some of the MLRS vehicles carried ballistic missiles designed for destroying bunkers. A few smaller armored vehicles like armored Humvees and small infantry fighting vehicles were present as well.

Major Lockie was flying ahead of the group. He was heading to Neptune City.

Ms. Swimmer, Deimos, Ceela, Dr. Zanasiu and Zachary were headed to Neptune City as well.

"Well, let's see if we can actually take over this city," Zachary said, taking a sip of some water.

"Well, even if we don't, as along as we can cripple Chong's supply lines, we'll have a small advantage," Deimos said.

Rime, Anton, Paul and Strut were in another convoy. This one was headed to Galena. Most of them were equipped with anti-tank weaponry, owing to the fact that living machines populated said town.

They would be joined by Captain Fairchild once his repairs were finished.

_ So what exactly are we looking for? Volteer asked Tarrax who was flying alongside them, the seven dragons, with tartrax as the lead dragon, were flying in formation. ' we aree moving to retake Neptunce City from Chong. Tarrax replied " we were forced to withdraw from it earlier despite our best efforts. But this time our forces are bigger..

(En route to Neptune City)

"Heads up! We've got company!" Major Lockie radioed to Tarrax. His radar suite detected at least two bomber aircraft, three fighter escorts and two summoned lightning dragons (being towed by the two bombers). To make matters worse, he noticed that the five aircraft were apparently alive. He did not know that they were from the town of Galena and were friendlies. Those aircraft were headed to Surf Point to deliver the dragons they had incapacitated and captured.

Luckily, Stripetail had seen it fit to link his radio (along with everyone else's radios) with Sara and Tarrax's powers.

Unfortunately, his weapons lacked the ability to effectively engage air targets.

(En route to Galena)

"You know, I don't think I've ever fought living vehicles before," Anton said, as he checked his RPG for the seemingly millionth time.

Strut said nothing as he snapped a disposable launch tube onto its launching system. He and Paul were equipped with PICADOR anti-tank rockets. This particular weapon used small plastic flakes to avoid the danger of backblast and disposable launch tubes to cut down on weight.

Rime had a .50 caliber sniper rifle like the one that Deimos used. This time, he had magazines filled with armor piercing rounds. "You know, if Captain Fairchild is any indication, these machines can take extreme amounts of damage."

Several other soldiers were in the armored personnel carrier. Some carried standard rifles and machine guns in case they ran into Chong's troops or mages.

Not seeing where the others went that she was with Sara went to find Jason who was finishing their breakfast with some of his other friends.

"Just about to head out." Jason said. "Going to join us, or go with some others?" He asked.

Sara shrugged, "Not sure where the others went to, so I guess you folks will have to put up with me, for now at least."

"We'll take the tardis there. Nice and roomy." Jason said.

"more then enough seats." Brooklyn said.

The group got up and started to head to where Jason's tardis was.

Keep your eyes open Tarrax said to Sara and the Guardians as the five planes revealed themselves. Tarrax's fire breath as devastating when it hit its target, but Tarrax sensed these planes would not be easy to hit. " try and get in touch with them, unless they indentify themselves as hostile..

Major Lockie nodded. "Attention! You are violating Seaboard Coalition Airspace! Identify yourselves and state your business or you will be fired on!"

He waited a few seconds for a reply. "This is Captain Douglas McDonnell. We are delivering two captive lightning dragons to Fort Inglorious for study."

Major Lockie switched to his private radio. "I need two volunteers to escort them to Fort Inglorious."

Escort them to the base and put the dragons in the detention center " came stripetail's voice over the radio.. "Get some of the mages at the hotel on it, as soon as possible..
Nani fidgeted in the back of stitchs car as stith continued driving towards Neptune City.

"Any requests of what the outside should look like as we fly?" Jason said.

The Professor continued his work on new inventions, but he wasn't getting far. He needed those supplies to get much done. A soldier walked in and informed him "Sir! A deliveryman is about to make it to the Fort! He has a package for you. You should have it very soon...after it goes through clearance."

"Finally!" was all the old mad scientist could utter.

The helicopter with Bender in tow landed on the airstrip just outside of Fort Inglorious. Two guards ushered him out, and led him to the front desk, where a General grabbed his package.

"Now hold on a second!" the General said. "Let's just make sure this package is safe. Sorry, but we have to do this with everything that comes in. Can't be too safe, you know!"

Bender looked worried as the General opened the box for a peek.
