Velma came into the hotel and looked around a bit then went over to where Veemon was. "What is going on?" She asked, then saw Mikoto, "Are you ok?" She asked him.

Spyro joined in. His inexperience with this song showed unfortunately and there was a bit of stumbling through parts of it.

Cynder turned to Dixie and smirked widely.

Deimos and Rime headed to the back of the hotel where the two bodies were located. Dr. Kerzach followed them.

"Kerzach, stay here and guard this place location. Turn away anyone who tries to enter the closet. If they disobey, forcibly remove them. If they attack you, retaliate." Deimos commanded.

Dr. Kerzach nodded and pulled out his switchblade.

Deimos and Rime removed the bodies from the closet and carried them to Briggins.

"Here are the bodies sir." Deimos said, placing them on the ground.

Mr. Bigmouth and Ms. Swimmer grabbed their weapons from the 3rd floor closet and stood at the ready.

"I hope you feel better soon." Velma said to Mikoto. She then turned to Veemon, "Jinkies, I didn't know you were that strong." She said.

The Tourist walked over to Velma, "Here, all done." he said, handing over her modified Cellphone, that looked the same. Then he and the rest of the group walked over to the desk.

"We'd like some rooms if there are any vacancies." He said.

Mikoto frowned. He wasn't used to receiving sympathy from strangers. In fact, he hadn't recently met anyone who could be called a normal person. He turned and headed up the stiars. He paused as he saw Kerzach with his switch blade. "That's not going to make the guests feel very secure here."

Dr. Kerzach looked at Mikoto. "Sir, please stay away from this closet. I am under orders to guard it." He lowered his switchblade but didn't pocket it.

"I'm guessing since there are murderers here. we should go back and get our weapons?" Rime asked.

"Yeah, let's do that." Dr. Zanasiu said.

"Told you so." Deimos cracked. He drew the Sig-Sauer P226 pistol from one of the pockets in his armor, pulled out a magazine from another pocket, loaded and cocked his pistol.

"Hey Shaggy! We need to go back to your house, we left our weapons there." Rime said.

"A closet?" Mikoto asked, his eyes staying focused on Kerzach's weapon. "That's a rather strange thing to be guarding. What might be in it?"

Dr. Kerzach looked at Mikoto. "There were 2 bodies in there. They may be still present and we need to keep them from destroying any more evidence. We removed the bodies for sanitary reasons. We'll clean the closet and anywhere the bodies have contacted once authorities have been contacted."

"I'll stay here and keep watch. Oh guys, bring Mr. Bigmouth's rifle and mine as well." Deimos said. He looked around but his pistol was in a relaxed position.

"Hmm, very well," Mikoto said. "You should be careful though, carrying around a weapon like that could make you look very suspicous to people."

Briggins looked at the bodies. they had been there awhile, all that remained was the skelton and some strands of flesh, both however were wearing hotel uniforms. 'Yes these are our missing workers. They mjust have been in that closet for months..Briggins said gravely..

Scooby continued singing Guiding spyro along and carrying the song.. it was really something to listen to, but the damage had already been done. Stripetail pursued his mouth when they finished. "Very good boys but not quite good enough. Spyro you stumbled in places, and you needed to absolutely nail this song. Scooby , that voice of yours is marvelous, and I don't often use that word. Overall, you guys got a 9 of 10. that gives you a total of 21. But since the girls had a better score, they get the bonus points, 3 in total. that gives them the win 23-21. the girls now lead 2-1-1."

Spyro sighed and sat down. "Darn."

"Ah, don't worry, Spyro," Cynder said. "You haven't lost... yet."

"I need to wash off this mud," Spyro said, glancing down at the layer of earth that had dried onto his scales.

"I think Hunter's still using the shower in our room," Cynder said. "But I'm sure Scooby and Dixie won't mind letting you clean up here."

Spyro paused halfway towards the bathroom, glancing back and wondering if he should stick around in case his help would be needed, but the mud had been sticking to him for a while now and it was starting to getting annoying, so he continued into the bathroom.

"Congratulations on your engagement, Scooby," Cynder said. "And Stripetail's right. There is something we should tell you..."

Scooby looked at her blankly. "Rhat ro you.." His eyes narrowed. "Rou rean, rou're rin rove with.." He looked at Cynder, then back at Dixie. 'ROU'RE RIN ROVE RITH RYNDER!?!" The words exploded from him in a sharp tone. the glance Scooby now gave Cynder was withering. "Ro, rou rwo reren't "rust Ralking" rack rat rhe RAfe" the anger now flowed rhough. "Rou rwo rere raking rout! Rell re, Rynder, row rid raving Rixie's rongue rin rour routh reel?" Scooby spat, his eyes now focused on Cynder with the intesity of a hawk eyeing its prey.

Aves (who this whole time was working down in the lowest basement/dungeon was coming up the stairs and into the lowest lobby of the hotel.

"Those %$#& harpies down there keep sticking their sharp feathers in the walls." grumbled the fox "I'm getting sick of this job of having to clean up after them!"

Cynder jumped as Scooby exploded into an angry fit. This was much worse than Spyro's quiet worried reaction. Much worse, she almost felt like crying, something she didn't do very often.

"Well, Scooby..." Cynder frowned, her eyes tearing up. "It felt pretty good. But I'm not leaving Spyro for Dixie and she's not leaving you for me, or anything like that. So you don't have any reason to be angry."

Mikoto slumped against the wall of his room. His mind was working on solutions to slow down the Dino Minder's overload, but he didn't have the necessary components and he had no idea where to get them in this foreign world and he wasn't going to wait for a period of tranquility from the device. By the time that happened, all of these interesting subjects for his game could have disappeared. He thought about the group that had come in the "teleporting car". They might have the parts he would need. He headed towards the door and left his room.
