Yes, we do travel to different worlds, different dimensions. Its how I learn anbd interact with others . I don't know everything,Sara nor am I the most powerful being there is. " stripetail said. "I know much, and I can do much, but I cannot do everything.."

"Well, Why don't you accompany me in exploring the hotel? The storm is probably going to keep us indioors today, so we might as well, look around. Yesterday, we found a secrey staircase on the 4th floor, which lead up to the top floor.."Stripetail said.

Sara nods, "Sounds like it could be interesting." She said. She held up a hand, "I have a light ring so it can help to make light. Though it's one that has a short area of effect it is enough for most basic uses." Sara said. "I wonder where that staircase does lead." She said.

Stripetail motioned to his staff. " My staff can light our way..and you can bring along anyone you want to accompany us.." Stripetail said.

Dixie meanwhile was changging into a new dress in the bathroom. Today should would wear a blue dress. "Those Dragons must be zapped. They didn't wake up when I shook them.." She said, as she combed her hair.

Sara nods, "Ok. I'll have to think over a moment who I'd like to accompany us." Sara said thinking it over. There was quite a choice and she thought of who could be the most logical choices of those she knew.

Rime, Zachary and Dr. Kerzach reentered the dining room.

"Pardon me, but I could not help overhearing about exploring the passage we found." Zachary said.

"Hey, Deimos get in here!" Rime shouted.

Deimos entered. "Present."

Dr. Kerzach also looked at the group. "What passage? I don't know what it is but I will be happy to find out."

Its on the 4th floor" Stripetail said. "You can accompany us of course, gentleman, the more eyes the better... I imagine there are secret enterances on every floor.."

"I can also provide light." Dr. Kerzach added. "I have a hand cranked LED flashlight."

"I can also provide light." Deimos added. "I have flares."

"I have natural night vision." Rime added.

By this time Strut, Mr. Bigmouth and Ms. Swimmer and Dr. Zanasiu had also entered the dining room.

"Hmm. A passage you say? I am prepared to explore it." Mr. Bigmouth said.

"Hey, can we come too?" Paul asked.

"Paul, we're busy today." Ivan said.

"Oh right, we haven't even unpacked." Paul then turned to the group. "Sorry for wasting your time. Disregard what I said earlier."

"Hey Stripetail, should we bring our weapons?" Zachary asked. "I mean, I'm not sure if there is anything else that could pose a danger."

Ivan and Paul got up and left the dining room. They headed back to their room.

After several minutes of climbing the stairs, they entered their room.

"Weaponry?" Ivan asked. "We were told that these guys were simply scientists!"

Paul chuckled and gestured to his suitcase. "I've got a Remington 700 sniper rifle in that case. We set up a sniping platform on the top floor, wait for them to come by and we shoot them."

"Yeah, but we need to find when they are alone. We shoot them in front of witnesses and we'll have the whole damned hotel on our ass. And we'll have to shoot them in the head; they're wearing armor." Ivan replied.

"Chris and Anton have shotguns and assault rifles. We'll kill everyone of them if things get really ugly. But let's not do that."

"Good, I sure as hell don't want the entire hotel coming after us; we'll never get out alive. There are dragons here and 2 of our targets can literally tear off limbs. The others can simply assault us with whatever they find and I'm pretty sure taking a brass candlestick to the face isn't very healthy." Ivan countered.

"I think I'll have Sam, Brooklyn along. One has natural night vision and the other has very good eye sight, both have good senses. And perhaps Odysseus also, he has a light ring and a few other advantages." Sara said thinking it over then looking at Stripetail, "Unless you'd want some others from The Tourists group." Sara said.

Terry overheard the conversation and came over, "I, have a friend who can come along. He has useful equipment, unless your group is large enough." He said.

Aves Grumbled as he came into the room. "I can't believe Nickdragged me up 4 flights of stairs! my butt is still burning, just because Nick has gone paranoid on me.. I go off on ONE vacation, and I come back to find the cafe is gone, and I'm stuck in this lousy job for at least a year.." He swore..

"Okay group take stock of weapons!" Dr. Zanasiu ordered.

Dr. Kerzach opened his amorphous metal switchblade. The mirror like blade seemed to glow.

Zachary unsheathed his fire ax.

Deimos drew his pistol.

Ms. Swimmer brandished her dual sticks.

"I've got a spear in the closet, I'll go get it if we need it." Mr. Bigmouth said.

"I've got that strange sword Zach gave me. I'll go get it if it is needed." Rime said.

"I've got nothing." Strut said.

Dr. Zanasiu looked at the group. "And I've got this." He then drew the pistol that Nick had given to him. He then turned to Stripetail. "Is this enough or shall Strut, Rime and Mr. Bigmouth retrieve their weapons?"

Mr. Bigmouth and Rime left the room to retrieve their weapons.

Strut sighed as he realized that he forgot to bring his shotgun. "Hey, anybody got a gun I can borrow?"

After several minutes, Mr. Bigmouth and Rime returned to the dining room.

Mr. Bigmouth was carrying a long spear with a black stone tip.

Rime was armed with the spectral sword that Zachary had taken from the ghost that attacked him yesterday. "I'm more proficient with firearms but this will do."

Rime handed the sword to Stripetail.

Strut said nothing as went into the maintainance closet. After a few moments, he returned with a crowbar. "Not as good as a gun, but still effective."

Sara went over to the booth she had been sitting at and told them about what was going on.

"Good idea and choices." the Tourist said. he reached into a pocket and handed to Odysseus his Desert Eagle. easier to get it in in one of his huge on the inside pockets then one of Odysseus' normalish pockets. "You may have need of this." He said handing it over. Odyssues put it into a convenient easy to reach place.

Ian/Sam got up from the booth as did Brooklyn and the both of them with Odysseus and Sara went over to the group where Stripetail was. Along the way Ian put on his special sunglasses, in case Sam would take over he wished to hide the amber glow his eyes would take on. Not much he could do about the slight swelling his muscles would go through, but his slightly baggy clothes should hide part of that, he hoped.

Terry went back to his booth and briefly told Hawkmon what was going on. "Best I take you out concealed so I can change." He said and put Hawkmon under his jacket and walked outside of the dinning room and up the stairs, pausing at a landing and seeing no one he took Hawkmon out and put him on the handrail.

"of all the..." Hawkmon started but went to shaking out his feathers to neaten them. Terry reached under his shirt and pressed a control on his special belt. As he did so his muscles swelled in size and his clothes switched to his Green Shadow costume with the goggles going over his eyes. He then came down with Hawkmon beside him and walked over to the group. "A friend mentioned you may could use some help." He said. Glad he had put the voice modulator into his costume.
