Suddenly another tarsdis appeared next to the Tourists. A man wearing overalls from the 1950s, Stepped out . "Hey is the Tourist around? I got his replacement tardis here, and am here to take this other hunk of junk back. he patted the tardis with a friendly pat. "This bet is about a hundred years old, but we've never had any problems with it.. He pulled out a clipboard "Sorry about this..' He muttered some words under his breath.. hunk of tin.. We should have warned you it was on her last legs.. thats on us.. and to make amends, this new one is on the house.. Go on, take a look inside" The man. whose was Rivers said.

"No, under new rules these tardis have to be checked 3 times a year, under the old rules it was once every ten years.. this one just got a tune-up last month. And this one, mr. Tourist, will last you decades or even centuries, with regular upkeep.." Rivers handed him a set of keys.. "Those are to the various rooms inside and the blue one is to start the primary engine. He handed him a business card. "If this one breaks, I'm in deep trouble. Mr. Tourist.."He smiled..

"Briggins, I need to get Dixie." Deimos said. "Then, I'll show you the assailant, Mikoto."

Deimos then went down into lobby.

"Dixie!" Deimos shouted, "Can you find Mikoto? I want to show him to the proprietor."

Rime had just reached room 300. "Hey, Zach, where's Deimos?"

"He's going to get our bounty hunter." Zachary replied.

Rime grumbled and placed his plate on the table. "Give that to Deimos when he comes up."

Rime then sat on a couch.

Paul and Anton entered the kitchen only to see Strut, Dr. Zanasiu, Dr. Kerzach, Ms. Swimmer and Mr. Bigmouth attacking the shadow cooks.

Paul drew his pistol and prepared to shoot but Anton nudged his hand away. "Not so fast. We'll explore some more."

Paul scowled but said nothing.

They then left the kitchen.

"James! Get Stripetail!" Dr. Kerzach shouted. He ducked under a frying pan attack from one of the chefs and stabbed him in the stomach and pulled up. Strangely, there was no blood. The creature then vanished.

"What are these things?" Mr. Bigmouth shouted. He used his spear to parry an overhand cleaver stroke from and chef and ran his spear through the chef. The chef, too vanished.

Dr. Zanasiu shot one of the attacking chefs and ran to the lobby. He then turned to The Tourist.

"Hey, has anyone seen Stripetail? There's something weird in the kitchen."

"Likely build it myself, should take me between 300-1,000 years, depending on certain things. I'll have a better idea once I get the first draft finished." The Tourist said.

Dr. Zanasiu ran to room 300.

After several minutes, he arrived at the room.

"Stripetail, Dr. Kerzach has found something in the kitchen and apparently the cooks didn't want him to know about it." Dr. Zanasiu said. He then turned to Dixie. "Dixie, where is Mikoto? I need to show him to Briggins so, he doesn't think Deimos is insane."

Sara held up the Flowers and box of Chocolates, "I need to get these flowers into something before they go bad." She said.

"Maybe the vase." Odysseus said.

"The blue one? That one may be best." Sara said.

'Lead the way" stripetail said. Ho got from where he was seated on the bed and turbd to Cynder. "Spyro should wake up in a few minutes. He'll be confused for a bit as he's been out for quite awhile.."

Dr. Zanasiu, with Stripetail following, went down into the lobby and into the kitchen.

There, Ms. Swimmer, Dr. Kerzach and Strut were fighting off a horde of cooks armed with kitchen utensils.

"Stripetail! I found this weird red crystal in the back!" Dr. Kerzach shouted, ducking under a frying pan swing and bursting forward, burying his switchblade into the chef, who collapsed and vanished.

"They keep coming!" Strut shouted. He blocked a chef's cleaver attack, and jammed the point of the shovel into his neck, knocking him to the ground. Strut then slammed the shovel into the fallen chef, causing him to vanish.

Mr. Bigmouth was hit in the side with a frying pan, causing him to grunt. Ms. Swimmer ran over to him and pummeled the offending chef until he vanished.

Dr. Zanasiu, drew his pistol and started shooting at the chefs. "No matter how many we kill, the bodies vanish and more appear."

The Tourist looked at the flowers and box of chocolates thinking. "I have an idea..." The Tourist said.

"What is it?" Odysseus asked.

The Tourist looked at Sara, "Mind if I take the flowers for a bit. I'd like to go and do something. I'll be right back." he said.

"Don't stay gone to long." Sara said, wondering what his idea was. The Tourist nodded and picked up the flowers and headed towards the door.

"I'll be right back." He said.

"it's raining outside, You'll need this." Sara said and cast a rain shield spell and modified it a bit so she could toss it at The Tourist as he wasn't next to her.

"Thanks." He said, taking out his hat form a pocket and putting it on as he headed outside, the rain missing him due to the rain shield spell. He walked to the tardis, took out the keys, got inside and locked the doors & headed to the console. He set the flowers carefully on top of the column.

"I'm sure he won't mind a short vacation, and his taste is exquisite." The Tourist said and set the coordinates to visit a certain friend of his. & The tardis dematerialized. & he went to sit down in a nearby chair.

Brooklyn parked his ears and looked in the direction of the kitchen. "Sounds like gunfire." He said.

"Let's investigate." Odysseus said.

Sam took over and switched to her Utah raptor form.

"these are sprit minoins" stripetail sdaid, blasting a nearby chef into the the wall. it vanished and was replasaced by another. "They are powered by some sort of power source.. usually controlled by thier master and usually from a certain distance away.. So whoever created these must be still close by.."

Dr. Kerzach pivoted, dodging a blow from a cleaver and stabbed the offending chef in the stomach, causing to vanish. "Stripetail, I has grabbed by an Indian Elephant named Haresh Devrahja when I found that red crystal in the back rooms. He snapped his fingers and teleported out. Then these spirit minions came about and started attacking."

Strut clubbed another chef with his shovel until it vanished; it was replaced by yet another one.

"Someone check the back rooms and see if Haresh is back there!" Dr. Zanasiu shouted. He was on the steps and shooting any of the spirit minions he could see.

Mr. Bigmouth and Ms. Swimmer were spearing or beating any spirit minions they could reach.

Well, the power sorce that keeps these minions coming is limited.. these things will eventually stop coming after awhile. But It'll be faster if we capture Haresh and take the power from him" stripetail said. "Do you have any idea why he grabbed you Kerzach?'

"I was looking in the back room and I found this red crystal and I was about to pick it up when he grabbed me." Dr. Kerzach responded. A spirit minion stabbed him with a butcher knife but his lab coat easily withstood the sharp blade.

Dr. Kerzach then waited for the minion to attack again. He dodged the minion's lunge and stabbed it in the back.

Stripetail gestured and blasted a pair of minions back. "Well, apparently that red crytal was something he rather you didn't know about. Its probably a magical crystal.."
