Neither Tsukasa, nor the normally cheerful Yuusuke returned the greeting. It wasn't the first time Tsukasa had met someone who pointed a weapon at him and certainly those meetings had turned out worse than this one, but he didn't trust these people.

"I probably have work to do," Tsukasa said, removing the hat on his head and setting it down on the desk. "Excuse me."

He moved past the group and headed towards the stairs. He wasn't really going to look for more work to do, but rather he was going to see if he could get his camera fixed and than he was going to change back into his usual outfit.

"Hello," Yuusuke said slowly. The Arcle had appeared around his waist.

Meanwhile, the film raced towards its epic climax. first there was the love scene where Roul and Christine declared their love for each other, then the spirited swordfight betwen the Phantom and Raoul in a snow-covered graveyard, at the end of which the Phantom declared "Now it is war on you both"...

Sarah watched the movie with interest. She had not seen the story or movie before in any version.

"We are sorry for the rude introduction but we were attacked by a minotaur in one of the secret passages in the 3rd floor and we are currently on edge." Chris replied.

"He warned us about a curse." Anton added. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm getting some heavy ordinance."

"Anton! We were told by Briggins that we can only carry small arms in this hotel!" Paul scolded

"I'm talking about a shotgun, dumbass! Ivan's the only one with a shotgun."

"Enjoying the movie?" Kivat asked Wataru.

"I can definitely relate to it," Wataru replied.

"Uh-huh..." Kivat said. "You're not going to get depressed again, are you?"

"No," Wataru replied. "That all happened a while ago and everything worked out in the end."

"Shh," Cynder hissed back at them.

"Sorry," Kivat said.

The black dragoness turned back to the screen, watching the movie intently. Spyro was also transfixed by the screen, only moving to grab a pawful of popcorn, but his eyes never left the screen.

Tsukasa paused before going down the stairs to the lobby. He listened to see if he could hear Briggins, when he didn't he descended the stairs slowly, reflecting that just cause he didn't hear anything didn't mean there was no one there.

I do hope you didn't do what most human do with weapons when confronted by monsters, and start shooting at it? My experience with minotaurs is that shooting at it will only piss them off, and minotaurs have very long memories as well as very thick hides" Stripetail replied. " So, come out with it, did you fire on the minotaur?'

"We did and we injured it. But we did so only because it attacked us. Ivan was was going to finish it off with some tandem HEAT rockets designed for attacking heavily armored vehicles. It's just that Briggins did not want us to bring them into the hotel." Chris said

"And I can't imagine why that would be the case.." Stripetail said sarcastically "Minotaurs are magical creatures, gentlemen, it takes powerful magic to kill them. Bullets dion't really work on them, and trying to finish them off with rockets, is well, just over the top.. We already know this place is cursed, perhaps, if you had asked questions of it, instead of trying to fill it full of lead, we might be closer to breaking the curse.. military fanatics" Stripetail shook his head..

Yuusuke leaned against the wall, crossing his arms. He was just glad the minotaur had escaped death. He would not have liked to see the groups' reaction if they came across one of the fangire from Kiva's world. They reminded him a bit of some of the more trigger happy members of the police force in his world.

Tsukasa dropped his camera off to be repaired, after a little arguing over the price and whether he would pay upfront, or not. Natsumi had won the argument as usual.

He changed into his usual wardrobe of a black coat over a magenta shirt with a black pair of pants and shoes.

The movie progressed, Raoul forming a plan to capture the Phantom by performing the opera he had written.

"Well, we do not have magic so the best we could come up with is heavy ordinance. And it was not interested in speaking to us; it was trying to kill us! Besides, these tandem HEAT rounds are capable of piercing nearly 2 feet of armor plate." Ivan countered.

"Ivan, forget about this. We stay out of the passages." Chris said.

the climatic scene came when Christine pulled off the phantom mask, revealing his facial difigurement, amnd leadsing to a heactic underground chase, as the Phantom, cut off from his beloved chistinr forever broke a miror and scape thtough the passage it concealed, upstairs the Opera Popular burned.. as the movie returned to the present, the now elderly raoul paused in front of a grave. iT was Christine's , having died two years earlier at the age of 65. ext tio the grave lay a bouquet of roses with a ring, the Phantom's ring... He was still alive.. and an old man himself.. the credits began to roll...

The Pelvanida group was huddled around Strut (Altus) who had gotten a newspaper.

"Hey look at this!" Strut (Altus) said. He was pointing to a newspaper article regarding a kidnapping.

"Two children kidnapped by labcoat clad Cheetah." Dr. Kerzach (Mark Hathaway) read off the paper. He then frowned "We'd better bring this to the others."

I've seen war being fought for many lifetimes, all it does is grown in its ruthless efficency in killing and maiming, there is no honor in it.."

Dixie smiled as the group got up from thier seats Suddenly her wrist armor bega to glow./ "Great, so much for the break from the Hotel" She muttered as Stripetail's image appeared

Hope I'm not interrupting the movie.. But i've found something, an old letter from the original owner of the hotel. While you're in town, look up what you can find on the history of the Inglorious Hotel. " stripetail said. "Usually the library or the local museum are good places to look.."

"Are you guys in trouble again?" Kivat asked, hovering over Dixie's shoulder.

"Sort of," Cynder replied with a shrug. "We're investigating a haunted hotel."

"We can go look," Spyro said, getting up and stretching his limbs.

Tsukasa headed back towards the hotel, glad to be back in his normal clothes, although he missed the weight of his camera around his neck. He wandered if they would explore the land around the hotel soon. He thought it might be nice to get out of the dreary building.

"Well, at least in this case, you don't have to come back to the hotel until iyts time to sleep. Tommorow, we'll finally complete that little challenge of ours, as well, get that out of the way..If I find anything more, I'll pop in and report it. You guys find anything, contact me.. until then I'll be combing this hotel with the help of some photographers who are staying.. They're not that good at photos, butsd its thier profession." Stripetail's image shrugged. 'Oh, and apparently theres a minotaur somewhere in the building as well, those four military gentlemen found it somewhere , and tried to kill it, with guns.."

"I'm not a photographer," Yuusuke said. Feeling that he needed to defend his friend he added. "Tsukasa is good at taking photos. They just don't develope well."
