Insane Cafe 3: The Curse of the Haunted Hotel

"We did. Likely some more then others." Jason said.

"I just wonder who those others are who you mentioned to Jason are still there and dangerous." Brooklyn said.

Femme leapt forward and slashed Tsukasa across the chest with her sword. He stumbled back, falling against a stack of crates. He brought his sword up to block her next downward slash. Yuusuke whacked her aside with his staff.

Ryuga stepped back and drew a card from his Vent Deck, inserting it into his gauntlet. "Final Vent!"

The other three remained oblivious to his actions, until a large black eastern dragon emerged from a dust covered mirror. The dragon roared, curling around its master, who hovered a short distance off the ground. Ryuga thrust his foot forwards and the dragon spat a cloud of black flames. The fire engulfed the Rider as he flew forwards.

"Move!" Tsukasa shouted, shoving Yuusuke to the side, before he leapt in the opposite direction. Femme was too exhausted from her clash with the two to dodge and the Rider Kick slammed into her, sending her flying through the air to crash into a pile of boxes.

"Gah!" Ryuga growled as he dropped to the ground, the flames fading from his body.

"My turn," Tsukasa said as he held up a card. Unlike his other pink colored cards, this one was predominately gold, both sides were emblazoned with the Decade symbol. He tossed the card into the Decadriver and snapped it closed, two golden rings of light forming around the buckle.

"Final Attack Ride... De-De-De-Decade!"

Several golden cards appeared between Tsukasa and the dark Rider. He leapt into the air, the cards ascending with him. He thrust his foot forward as he dropped through the cards, gaining momentum as he fell. He emerged from the last card in the line with a pair of golden rings around his foot. His Dimension Kick connected with Ryuga's chest armor. The Mirror World denizen exploded in a cloud of black flames, mysteriously leaving no remains behind, save for a singed spot on the floor.

"Sure," Cynder replied. "Only... what's a cafe?"

"Well, there they go," Spyro said as the girls walked away. "So what are we going to do?"

"Do you know any card games?" B.G. asked. " I know 'Go Fish!'"

"Hey here's one!" Ms. Swimmer said, pointing to a small European style coffee house. "Dixie, Cynder?"

She then entered the cafe.

"Hello. What would you like?" the waiter asked, handing her a menu.

Ms. Swimmer opened the menu and looked through it.

"Oh, yeah," Cynder said, slapping a paw against her forehead. "That's embarrassing."

"I don't," B.G. replied. "I can't really carry much around. No pockets you know. Does anyone else have some?"

"Nope," Spyro replied. "I've never even heard of that game."

"Well, I'll teach it to you if we can find some cards," B.G. said.

Boxes clattered to the floor as a severely injured Femme forced her way out of the pile of crates she had crashed into. Tsukasa turned to face her, holding up the Final Attack Ride card again. In her current state, it would be easy to finish her off. He didn't get the chance to though as the silvery barrier appeared between them, before fading from view along with the female Kamen Rider.

"Well, that sure made a mess," Tsukasa observed as the Decadriver deactivated, his armor vanishing.

Yuusuke returned to human form, the staff in his hand morphing back into its original shape before it dissolved. "Let's see what we can find."

Dixie took as seat opposite MS. Swiimmer, there was room in the middle for Cynder. The waiter placed two menus in front of them, and Dixie took a look at hers. 'Sghould we start off with an appetizer?' She said to Cynder. "Mozzerela sticks are good, so is calamari- its breaded squid, and its really good.MS. SWimmer, have you seen anything you like?'

"Let's go to a cafe or resturant. I know Guilmon is starting to get hungry and some of the rest of us must be also." Jason said and got up. "As for any other attackers I'm prepared for them, 3 different forms and styles of magic and some gadgets also. Being a bit over a thousand years old has it's advantages."

Hunter climbed into the SUV, and Shaggy soon followed, the rest of the passengers including Bulk abd Skull climbed in, and soon they were off..

"That sounds good," she said distractedly.

"That one looks like a friendly place." Velma said pointing to a cafe not to far from where they are.

"Great, let's head there." Brooklyn said.

"Good, I'm hungry." Guilmon said rubbing his stomach a bit.

Well this game called war where if you get the same number, lets say I have a 10 and you have a ten, we place two cards face down, and the third card determines who wins. the object of the game is to get all of the cards.. Aces are the highest and will beat any other card..2s are the lowest.." Tai said..

Velma and the others went into the cafe and sat at a large booth that could sit all of them. They looked started to look over the menu. Guilmon, as he did sometimes, looked at his the right way up, tried upside down then tried sideways, going back to upside down. He could read more then 1 language, but found at times that menus looked best to him sideways or upside down.

"The exotic fruits platter looks interesting. I guess I'll take the exotic fruit platter and fried vegetable sampler." Ms. Swimmer replied. She then turned to Dixie "And what is this 'Insane Cafe'?" Her walking stick was resting against her chair. "You know, I might have that polished and turned into a nice looking cane. Speaking of which, I wonder if I should get my twin fighting sticks polished."

A wiry man gave Ms. Swimmer a lecherous grin and beckoned. She ignored it and the man resumed eating his pastry.

"Pete's offers free calibration if you buy a new scope and a new rifle. They should have taken it." Deimos (Acheron) replied.

Dixie shot a dirty look at the man, then turned back. "The insane cafe is.. well was a resteraunt owned by my friend Nick. It was called the iNsane Cafe because weird things happened there.. pies would come out of nowhere and hiit you in the face.."

Jason nodded, "I remember being there once or twice a while back. They had a dancing cat who put on a show, and a talking dog who could tell jokes." Jason said.

"Interesting. How was the show and the jokes?" Sara asked.

"Pretty good as I recall." Jason said, closing his menu having picked out what he wanted.
