Ms. Swimmer shook her head. "I can only eat plants."

A waiter placed the dishes of various fruits and her fried vegetable sampler on the table. "Try some of these fruits." She grabbed a magosteen and started eating it.

Oh" Dixie looked embarassed. "Then Cynder and I will have to tackle the clamari and mozz sticks.. And I'll try some of your fruit too.. have to have a balanced deit. especially when you're living with someone who eats loads of junk food..: Dixie smiled as she thought shaggy and sCooby;s eating habits.. those two would eat anything..

"Ah, here's something," Tsukasa said, removing a black and white photo. He flipped the photo around to show the image on it to the other two. The man from the portrait in the hidden office was on it in front of a half-constructed hotel.

"That looks like this hotel," Yuusuke said, taking the photo from Tsukasa and looking at it more closely.

"And that's not all," Tsukasa said, holding up an old book.

yeah, we're up 2-1-1, all we need to do is tie.. but I'm not sure how easy Stripetail is going to be on the trivia..being as old as he is.. he probably knows lots of stuff.. stuff we don't know.." Dixie patted Cynder's head.. "I think Stripetail said we'd finish tommorow. WE're going to win.." She said.

The waitress came with some of the orders for some of Jason's group and those with their food started to eat.

Odysseus clapped Brooklyn on the shoulder. "I think next time we're in a battle, I'd like you to try being the battle commander." He said.

"Really? Thanks." Brooklyn said.

"I'm sure you'll do well." Odysseus said.

Tsukasa opened the book to the first page and was unsurprised to find the signature of the hotel's owner. He turned the page and paused as he sensed something. He glanced at the dusty mirror just in time to see the black eastern dragon emerge from the surface and come flying straight at him. He threw himself to the side and the dragon's mouth went flying past him. He brought out the Decadriver, but the dragon was already vanishing into the reflective surface of a window.

"I don't think he likes me," Tsukasa gasped, standing back up and looking for the book which he had dropped when he dodged the dragon.

Stripetail climbed over the boxes to look at what Tsukasa has found. "You found something.. excellent work. What does it say?' Stripetail asked lighting his staff so Tsukasa could read the writing better..

Zachary (Ian Holmes) and Dr. Kerzach (Mark Hathaway) awoke, washed up, dressed and headed out of their rooms. They were characteristically dressed in their armor and labcoats.

They then headed down to the lobby.

"So you guys are up? And where did you place our weaponry?" Deimos (Acheron) asked.

"Take a nap, we're going to search the hotel later." Zachary (Ian Holmes) said. "Oh, Acheron, all the weaponry is scattered in the closets. In particular your big .50 cal rifle and Don's rifle are in the top closet. Remember you are our designated marks-dinos."

"We're going to eat dinner."

The Pelvanida group headed into the kitchen.

Ms. Swimmer petted Cynder's head with her free hand. "So how are you enjoying this?" she asked, between bites of a starfruit.

"Anything else?" the waiter asked.

"Hot green tea, please." Ms. Swimmer asked.

Tiger looked down at Tigress a look of abject rage on his face. "WHY do I put up with you?" He raged,"WHY?' Tear streamed down Tigress's face and down both sides of her snout. Tiger's face was inches from her, his teeth bared. Tigress whimpered "Don't you care for me at all? I care about you..' She sobbed "I thought that kiss we shared back at the hotel would have at least made you feel a little bit.."

I only kissed you because you begged me too..' Tiger fumed. "And it opened the door.. when nothing else we tried would" Tigress said, tears continuing down her face. " She looked around briefly and noticed the position they were in. "DON't get any ideas" Tiger snarled. "You've never been with a lady wolf Tiger, I can tell by the way you're acting towards me..well, tonight you're going to be with one.."

I'd.. rather it be at the hotel.. who knows how long this sofa's been lying here.." Tigress laid her head back against the headrest and looked up at him.. Suddely she wrapped her legs around his neck and pressed her lips against his 'Wha" Tiger was caught by surprise as tigeress kissed him. Tiger stiffened as he felt tigeress lips against his, he tried to break away, but Tigress held him tight. Tigeress ran her paws through his fur, up and down his back, then she ran a paw over the line of the scar on Tiger's face. Tigress felt Tiger's paws slowly run through her mane.. Tigress felt joy growing in her..tHe kiss last for just over a minute, then tiger pulled away, and climbed off her and retreated to the other side of the sofa. He panted heavily for a second, that kiss .. he shook his head.. he had actually started to enjoy it.. "I'm sorry" He finally said.. "Well.. what's your choice?' Tigress said.. "The hotel' Tiger said gruffily. "Lets go back to the resteraunt.. what are you laughing at?' he asked as Tigeress started laughing. "I left lipstick on your lips. you can tell where I kissed you" Tigeress explained. "Great' Tiger said sarcastically, getting off the sofa. "Come on Tigeress..."

Sure you can entertain us while we eat" Dixie nodded. "I bet you have lot os stories.. " She as she took the leftover fruit and passed some to cynderm, before putting some on her plate. There was some calamari and Mozz sticks left too, and Dixie took some of those..

Cynder glanced over at Mrs. Swimmer when the petting stopped. She had found it strange at first, but then she had started to enjoy it. She almost wished it hadn't stopped.

"I'll have a..." she paused, trying to remember the sodas she had tried before. She glanced down at the menu and blurted out a name at random. "A Sprite, I guess."

Tsukasa picked the book back up. He glanced over at the mirror nervously and took a few steps away from it, before flipping the book open. He sat down on a box, holding the book at an angle where it would catch the light from Stripetail's staff.

"Looks like something he wrote when he first started building the hotel," Tsukasa said. He flipped towards the back of the book, reasoning that it would be the best place to look for any mention of the curse.
