Die took the bags of Chocol;ate from each of them, and carried them in her left paw. They stopped in the parking lot outside which was now dark save for a few lights. "lets head back.' Dixie said. " How long long do you think it will take us?'

"It shouldn't take too long," Cynder replied with a shrug.

Kaito spotted the Hikari Studio first. The Hotel, though massive, didn't emerge from behind the trees until he got closer. He stared up at it with an impassive expression.

Since it was the middle of the night, he decided not to intrude on the Studio residents and instead get a room in the hotel. He entered the hotel lobby. He smiled cheerfully at the person behind the front desk and raised a hand in greeting. "Yo!"

B.G. growled angrily. He made a mental note to either challenge Tai to a game that he knew inside and out, or get the human with one of his practical jokes. A joke was more likely, since he had gone for so long without pulling one.

And Cynder proved right, It took them only 15 minutes to fly back to the hotel.. Dixie clutching the bags of candy (four of them ) and admiring Sara's graceful flying. The views wasn't too bad either, she remarked..

Kaito produced a twenty from out of his bag and handed it to Briggens. He paused as he looked at the book and then scrowled his name in, having briefly considered using an alias.

"That was almost too short," Cynder said as she stopped and hovered over the hotel. She slowly descended towards the ground below.

"Meh," B.G. flipped his last card, a two over and tossed it over towards Tai. It landed almost perfectly on top of Tai's stack of cards.

Jason's group arrived about then, having had a great time walking around town and such, seeing the sights.

"Thank you." Ms. Swimmer said. She headed to her room but she ran into the Pelvanida group.

"So how was the night out?" Mr. Bigmouth asked.

"Um, Mr. Bigmouth, what's going on?" Ms. Swimmer asked. "And yeah, I had a great time."

"We're doing a search of the hotel. Do you want to help?"

"Let me wash up first." Ms. Swimmer replied. She went to her room, put all the candy away and washed up. She went to the closet, put away her walking stick and replaced it with her trademark twin sticks.

After a few minutes, she went back to the first floor foyer and sat on a chair. "So how long do we have to wait?"

Dr. Kerzach (Mark Hathaway) shrugged. "We will search when everyone is asleep."

"You know we should start in the ground floor as no one is there." Mr. Bigmouth added. "By the way are the two snipers in position."

Zachary (Ian Holmes) nodded. "Don and Acheron are ready."

"Good. Let's rock and roll!" Dr. Kerzach (Mark Hathaway) said, opening his switchblade.

The group readied their weapons and headed to the ground floor.

Jason's group waved to the others then went into the hotel.

As the Pelvanida group reached the ground floor, they passed by Briggins.

"Briggins, has any strange activity been reported?" Deimos (Acheron) asked. His rifle was at the ready but pointed away from Briggins.

Apart the usual, ghost sighting, insensitive ritings on wall and pies getting thrown in peoples faces.. no" Briggins grinned.. "Be careful gentlemen. If I get awoken by the sound of gunfire, you'll have a lot to answer for.."

"Unfortunately, you may have to hear gunfire and possibly explosions as Mark and I were attacked by a rogue mage several hours ago. We killed him but there may be others out there." Zachary (Ian Holmes) said.

Mr. Bigmouth chambered a round into his rifle. "Well, I'm ready."

Dr. Zanasiu (Timothy Johnson) cocked his shotgun.

Dr. Kerzach (Mark Hathaway) went to Haresh's closet.

"I take it you're not here for a restful vacation then?" Kaito asked as he eyed the heavily armed group. He had actually started to reach for the Diendriver when he spotted them and his hand was still hovering near his coat pocket. Noting the friendly chatter between Briggens and the group, Kaito let his hand drop back to his side.

Dr. Kerzach (Mark Hathaway) met the group in front of Briggin's desk. Haresh was with him.

"What do you want with me?" Haresh asked.

"You're going to help us search." Dr. Kerzach (Mark Hathaway) replied. "And no funny business." He gestured to the Pelvanida group who had their weapons drawn.

Haresh gulped. "Okay, I'll cooperate."

Deimos (Acheron) looked at Kaito. "Are you willing to help us?"

"Let's not waste time." Rime (Don) said.

"Right you are. Let's go!"

Deimos (Acheron) and Rime (Don) ran up to the top floor. In a few minutes, they had reached the top floor.

Deimos (Acheron) set up his .50 caliber rifle on the 9th floor, Rime (Don) had set up his rifle opposite Deimos (Acheron).

Deimos (Acheron) trained his rifle on the entrance to the dining room. He peered through the scope of his rifle and saw nothing.

Rime (Don) trained his rifle on the hallway opposite the dining room entrance; he too saw nothing.
