Ms. Swimmer pushed the door to the observatory open. It was immaculate, courtesy of Hans's efforts at restoring it.

"Well, here we are," Dirk said. "The observatory."

"About that demon, is it likely that we face it in an underground chamber or is like the Minotaur?" Deimos asked.

that is unknown at the moment. We will likely confront it once we are closer to lifting the course." Stripetail replied, heading up towards the telescope. "who wants to man the telescope? We have to aim it at some area of the hotel if the riddle is right..

"Hans, will you do the honors?" Ms. Swimmer asked.

"I guess, I'm the most qualified to man a telescope since I cleaned and restored it," Hans replied.

"And you helped break part of the riddle," Rime added.

"Stripetail, I will man the telescope," Hans said. He then grabbed a nearby chair and after testing it to make sure it will hold his weight, he sat down in front of the telescope. "I am now ready," he said.

See if there are any rain clouds presents and see if the moon is out tonight" Stripetail said. "If it is, we very well might see a moon bow..

Hans nodded and peered through the telescope. He saw the full moon shining bright in the sky. He marveled at the detail he could see: the craters and the maria on the moon. He switched his view and spotted several dark clouds in the distance.

"We're in luck! It's a full moon and there are rain clouds!" he said without taking his eyes from the telescope.

He then saw two blinking red and green lights through the telescope. He adjusted the focus until the two lights came into sharp focus. What appeared before his eyes appeared to be some sort of armed drone.

"Guys! I've picked up some kind of armed drone!" he called.

"Likely another bother of some sort or another." Moran said.

Hans looked through the telescope again. "It appears to be a Helios IV spy/attack drone. I don't think it's friendly," he said.

"Great, shouldn't we have someone shoot it down?" Strut asked.

"I guess we'd need to since I would assume us asking them to go away would not work." Moran said.

"I have some hand beam weapons, not sure how effective they would be." Jason said. "& some have magic they can use too."

Stripetail looked over at Tarrax sand Sara, " Sara, Tarrax, I want you to fly out there and knock down that drone.."
_ Tarrax nodded " come on my dear.." He said turning and walking out of the room.
So How long is this going to take?' Bulk asked sitting down on the floor..

Sara walked out with Tarrax, "Do you have any strategy or tactic in mind?" She asked Tarrax on their way out.

Stripetail nodded. " do so quickly.. they will likely notice the drone has been taken out,, no matter, that drone has likely been flying overhead for days..
_ the Plan, is to incinerate the drone.. We'll attack it in a pincer miovement, one from the right the other from the left..together we should bee able to destroy it.." tarrax said.. "If we see any other drones we take them down as well.."
Outside the rain clouds were growing, a storm was coming in..

Deimos returned to the room with the anti air missile launcher in tow. Several of the disposable launch tubes were strapped across his back. "I've got the weapons right here. I also have that autocannon I bought a while back but I will need a vehicle to tow it and a driver for that vehicle," he said.

"Stripetail! I see something, I see a...ah!" Hans began, suddenly, a blue light surrounded him and he was levitating above the ground.

"The runes! I think the telescope's reacting to them!" Ms. Swimmer said.
