Darren continued removing devices from planes and drobnes he was about halfway through...

Dirk and the group arrived back at the hotel.

"Back so soon?" Strut asked.

"They don't allow fishing or swimming because of the chemical attack," Kurt said.

"So what do you plan to do?"

"We're going to walk around town."

Darren was at the last rigged aircraft, a large and heavily armed long range bomber. He noticed a large bomb placed onto the wing.

I don't think they're really going to let me live. I'd commit suicide and at least partially fulfill Deimos's mission. he thought.

He then attempted to detonate the device.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," a Hawk guard said, placing his pistol to Darren's head.

Darren gulped and removed the device. A soldier took it and placed it out in the desert. "That's the last of them," he said.

"That would be pretty good. We'd need to see what each other looks like and maybe a simple hand sign to signal the other we are from the hotel. One that could look like a normal thing to do. Something like rubbing one's chin or running one's fingers through one's hair with one specific hand or something like that. " Jason said.

"If we do that it woudl have to be something simple and looks natural." Brooklyn said.

"Hades is a nice guy sometimes. But you had better keep your hand on your wallet when he's around. Since he is the god of thieves, among other things. Though he seldom did that and only for fun, on orders from Zues or certain gods, to teach someone a lesson help someone or for a bit of mischief now and then. scooby and dixie climbed into the mystery machine. agumon agumina, tiger tigeress and stitch climbed into the middle seat. angel, spyro and cynder climbed into the back seat where they waited for venus and mikey to join them..

"You're gonna die soon so just wait," the Hawk said coldly.

Two guards, both of them Bison, pinned Darren to the ground and proceeded to bind him with cable ties. They then carried him off to the "surgical theater", which was a crude open air operating room/hospital.

Another guard carrying the bomb followed the two Bison.

Several minutes later, bloodcurdling screams issued in the distance.

"Oops, looks like we forgot the anestheia," the Goat said with a shrug.

chong simply grinned as a bloodied darren was brought back to him.. a long ugly scar ran across his stomach. the looks darren gave him were a mixture of fear and hatred chong held up his magical device "this will be magically linked to the bomb inside you my foolish friend.. consider yourself lucky that we found two uses for you, as a bomb remover, and ' he laughed wickedly"a bomb carrier. now gag him and put him in the crate..' he said.

"Bet you wished that we just simply shot you like your friend?" the Goat mocked.

One of the technicians shoved a rag that had been used for aircraft maintence into Darren's mouth and taped his mouth shut with duct tape from the nearby tool box.

The nearby Clydesdale soldier then effortlessly placed Darren into the crate and nailed it shut.

Two other soldiers then approached the airfield.

"Mr. Goat," one of the soldiers said, "at your orders we have interrogated then executed one of the captives,"

"You mean the Cheetah who tried to blow up one of the diesel generators? What have you to report?" the Goat asked.

The soldier nodded. "Apparently, we found out who hired them. It was someone who was known as 'Ostrom'. He paid the entire group roughly $750,000 to sabotage equipment. Apparently, he also provided them with the explosives," he said.

"Who the [censored] is 'Ostrom'?" a technician asked.

"'Ostrom' is the callsign of a rather famous former Pelvanida security guard. Apparently his real name is 'Deimos'," the Goat said. "If we need to we can look up more info in the database," he added.

"If we send Darren back to 'Ostrom' like this, won't 'Ostrom' get suspicious?" a Golden Retriever technician asked. She adjusted her glasses.

Odysseus smiled a bit, "If you've ever could not find your car keys and know you put them in a basket next to the door, but find them instead on a top of your tv in the bedroom. It could be you did forget putting them there," he said pausing a moment before waiving his hand, "Or it could be Hermes having a bit of mischievous fun. Or if a bully steals your favorite ball and you later find it in your backpack or pocket, maybe he stole it from the bully and put it there."

'better to put them to use then simply shoot them.. its all about using them for as much leverage as you can wring out of them.. send them back to this deimos, so what if he gets 2-3 of his friends back..we'll simply kill them when we invade..'Chong said "Bind them and gag them like you did Darren.. then toss them in the crate and send them to surf point..

the Goat and the soldiers loaded the crates onto the truck then leapt into the back themselves.

The group then returned to the "control room" which simply an area where several computers were located. The Bison soldier placed the crate with Darren in it next to the computer

Several technicians were manning the computers.

The Goat disembarked from the truck and booted up one of the computers. He bought up Deimos's profile. Almost immediately, a picture of a large dark brown Utahraptor appeared on the screen.

"I wouldn't be too sure that Deimos won't be suspicious. He is well known for paranoid behavior and has several complaints against him for enforcing the rules too tightly or just being overly cautious," the Goat said, reading off the screen.

"Chong, as for captives, we have two who we captured several hours ago before Mr. Goat's edict of kill them all was issued," a Bison soldier said.

' chong smirked.. he gestured an d created two new bombs both set to 100 hours.. put them in, and the only sound they'll hear is the ticking of these bombs.. ' he cackled sinisterly..
