stripetail helped to treat over a hundred patients over the next several hours, aided by cynder scooby, Dixie Agumina and Joe. Apyro and Stitch helped with bandages running around between Stripetail Jason, Dr Kerzach and Setsuna. wounds were bound eyes treated yellow blisters drained of fluid and pus.. meanwhile fires in Surf Point continued to spread..

Haresh's stomach growled as he was busy treating patients.

"I think we might all need to eat," he said.

"Do we have enough food and water to feed everyone?" Deimos asked.

"The Great Valley has plenty of food," Mr. Bigmouth said, "I estimate that it can sustain us and the dinosaurs for quite a long time."

"Some of those floors are pretty dusty. Hope that won't make things worst for any patients." Sara said. "I can make essential water for folks to drink. I wonder if the other mages here know how to make some. Though normal water would help, not having to make as much essential water or making regular water."

"Perhaps someone with a scanner can scan some food in the Great Valley to see what is edible." Jason said.

Merlin paused from bandaging a burn victim. "yes nourishment is required.. even I'm starting to tire.."
Stripetail finished treating another victim. alright, finish the patient you are on, abnd go grab something to eat.."

Dr. Kerzach finished bandaging another victim. He tossed his gloves into a trash bin designated for waste to be burned. He then headed into the bathroom to wash his hands.

"We'll need someone who can determine if what we have is safe for consumption by this world's inhabitants," Mr. Bigmouth said, returning from the bathroom.

I'm coming to get seafood," Deimos said.

"You'll need containers," Setsuna said.

"We'll use the leaf sled method."

"I'll come on the foraging expedition too," Ms. Swimmer said. She had finished washing her hands.

Haresh began frying the fish.

Some chefs from Zemoth's were helping as well.

The Bull trucker along with some of his friends were busy moving food from the underground storeroom to the kitchen

The NUMA group and Dr. Kerzach entered the foyer.

"All windows and cracks have been sealed," Dirk said.

At this point the gas outside had cut visibility to zero.

Rime stood on a chair and cleared his throat. "All right, we need all the uninjured people to help seal this hotel and assist in the logistical aspects of this situation," he said.

"We will go foraging first," Deimos said.

"Last call for foraging expedition!" Mr. Bigmouth said.

The three foragers were standing in front of the portal.

logistically, we cannot leave this hotel' Milos said coming over. the gas is being blown by the wind it could be weeks or even months before we can clean up Surf Point.. possibly years..'he added. 'this is now our prison.. we don't know whether dragonstorm would prefer to just keep us trapped in here while they rampage across the region.. we will need fresh food at some point.. the suplies we have won't last forever especially not with 2000 mouths to feed.

it could last 2 weeks maybe 3 if we scrimp and cut back' briggins said. his cash drawers was now bulging with cash watches jewelry, anything of value more than 20 dollars the survivors had on them. most had paid in cash, though some had not.. briggins had promised to return the watches and jewelry..

"Deimos, stay behind, I'll go," Rime said.

Mr. Bigmouth, Ms. Swimmer and Rime stepped through the portal to the Great Valley.

"Captain Milos, Mr. Bigmouth, Ms. Swimmer and Rime are foraging for food in the Great Valley," Strut said.

"I'm going to see if there is anything of value back in the town. If we are lucky, we may find canned food or maybe medicine and air cylinders from the dive shop," Deimos said.

"Deimos, you can't go out there!" Dr. Kerzach said.

"I am going out," Deimos replied, donning the protective suit and another air tank. He then found a small wagon used for repairs.

Back at the Great Valley the elders were discussing the situation when the 3 warped in.

"Mr. Bigmouth, what is the situation?" Grandpa Longneck asked.

"Bad. We need to gather food," Mr. Bigmouth replied.

"Rime, take some of your friends and go fishing," Ms. Swimmer ordered, "Mr. Bigmouth, myself and some of our friends are going to go foraging."

Rime nodded and headed out to his favorite fishing spot.

Ms. Swimmer and Mr. Bigmouth headed to the Feeding Grounds.

"That could be handy to carry towards the portal." Jason said. "Perhaps a surveillance satellite is overhead and we can get a look outside, or we can use my tardis observation screen to look a bit outside, though it can't look to far from the tardis itself. & I do have some food in there that is ok for the folks of this world to eat. Not as much as the hotel has. So the Great Valley may be best to supplement some. If you want I can go to Oz and ask Ozma if they have some extra food there, & maybe Dinotopia." Jason said.

Pete looked around at Godzooky, "They came from the town itself since there is a poison gas outside this is the only safe place for them." Pete said to Godzooky.

just get back here in one piece Deimos. you will be the last person allowed to leave this hotel, unless of course we move people to the great valley.. and according to my research its much warmer there and the atmosphere is different..how different i don't exactly now.' Stripetail said.

sir' one the scientists came yup to Chong.. ' our drones have indicating the towns is being consumed by the nitro, there won't be much left at this rate..
- thats the plan.. level the town, and rebuild itt.. as we wish. right now we've got our enemies trapped in that hotel. i want it sealed off. tear up the road leading into it so it can't be used to get out. then start building a wall around it to seal off the grounds. once they are sealed away in their dump of a prison.. then we can go on to remake the region. i could definitely see a new base in the area for your operations, and of course you can frequent my new cafe.. i might use those we capture from the other cities in its construction.. they will be given three options:one we take them and dump them in 'Inglorious Prison" two, they work to build my new cafe and your new base, or three, we simply shoot them." Chong said.

nick went around carrying food for the patients, he passed some mashed potatoes to a woman wearing a movie theater uniform, she had sold the tickets to the group a few hours before ' so much for workings in the theater anymore ' she said sadly ' i was saving up to buy a new car..' she added as she dug her fork in the food ' you're alive, that's what matters 'nick replied.

"ok," Jason said. "I'll be back shortly, at the point of view of this time frame. Though to may be a while." He said. He and Guilmon went to the tardis and before he got into it Jason put a chronal beacon on the wall beside his tardis. Then they went into his tardis and dematerialized. Their first stop was Dragonland. Where they at first picked some dragon berries from some public places, leaving most of the berries there. Then they went to buy some food at several places in dragonland. Then stopped off at the schoolhouse in the sky since Quetzal, being a teacher and knowing a little magic, could likely help keep the children, and maybe some of the adults entertained, leaving a chronal beacon since, though it was not time for school, Quetzal could be returned about 5 seconds after he left. Then they went off to oz to Ozma's Palace in the Emerald city.

Dr. Kerzach picked up the teleport gem that Mr. Bigmouth left behind and handed it to Deimos.

"What's this?" Deimos asked.

"Mr. Bigmouth's teleport gem," Dr. Kerzach replied.

Deimos shook his head and headed out the door.

"Should we try to make some sort of airlock system?" Dirk asked.

"Not sure if I can classify Deimos as a brave or foolhardy," Werner said. "I mean twice, he has ventured into the wasteland."

Deimos made his way to the business district. The orange glow of fires started by the submunitions was visible through the yellow haze.

He entered a cafe and noticed that meals were still on the table. He entered the kitchen and noticed that entire kitchen was wrapped in a yellow fog. He made his way to the pantry where he found a sealed plastic bag of rice, which he hoisted onto his wagon.

Finding nothing else he left the cafe and entered a drugstore. He noticed that there were some bodies on the ground but he ignored them and took all the first aid kits he found.

He then entered the dive shop and found some air tanks, which were all full. He then hoisted them onto his wagon and left the shop.

Further down the street, he noticed that several buildings in the business district were on fire.

He looked at the display inside his mask. "Good. I've got enough air to make it back to the hotel," he muttered.

He then made his way back to the hotel as the fire spread to the three stores he was in.

Rime and Chomper were spearing fish in the river. Two leaf sleds were already filled with fish and shellfish. Ruby was gathering shellfish from the river as well. Several other Fast-Runners were eating as well.

Ms. Swimmer, Mr. Bigmouth, Hyp and Mutt had finished foraging. Their leaf sleds were filled with sweet bubbles, treestars and various other fruits.

They headed back to the main lake and entered the portal.

The two reappeared in the lobby.

"Stripetail, we are in the process of gathering food. Hyp and Mutt then briefly appeared in the lobby and dropped off their leaf sleds before they walked back through the portal.

After explaining the problem to Ozma they waited while some extra food could be gathered. Some of the folks wanting to come to help and Ozma said if they returned after a bit they would surly have more food. Guilmon digivolved to help carry the food to the tardis door with Dorothy and the others there helping to put it into the tardis.

Outside the cloud continue to spread, the bomb had carried several tons of the stuff inside of it, and it was now reaching Southport, which had only a couple hundred residents, they packed up what they could, with food supplies and water, rolled up their windows and headed south ; the hotel would soon become even more crowded..
