"Could someone see if this is edible by the residents here?" Ms. Swimmer asked.

"Hungry?" Haresh asked. He, Dr. Kerzach, Dr. Zanasiu, Zachary and some waiters from Zemoth's were busy serving the refugees food.

"We ate at the Great Valley," Mr. Bigmouth replied.

The door opened and Deimos, clad in his protective suit, entered with a wagon of supplies behind him. He then shut the door behind him.

He stripped off his suit and placed it back in its case. "I managed to find some first aid kits, a bag of rice and several air tanks. However, a good portion of the town is on fire," he said. He then headed upstairs to take a shower.

Once it was loaded up the folks got into Jason's tardis and they returned to the hotel. Once it had arrived out stepped Dorathy, who looked around.

"Why this looks like it could be a hotel from when I use to live in Kansas. Don't you think Toto?" She asked her little black dog who gave a bark as his answer.

Next the others stepped out. The Tin Woodman and the Scarecrow, "So this is what the civilized country looks like." The Scarecrow said. Behind him stepped out Tik-tok, The Wizard, The Shaggy Man, Quetzal, Guilmon, Aunt Em, Uncle Henry, Ojo (a munckin boy, and the patchwork girl (similar to the scarecrow but made of patchwork cloth and stuffed with cotton) and Jason.

"Hope you don't mind. Some friends wanted to come along to help the injured here and I have some food as well." Jason said. Those he had brought along started to help carry out the food.

"This brings back memories." The wizard said looking around.

"I think I stayed at an inn like this once long ago." Uncle Henry said.

meanwhile the evacuees from Southport passed through the poisonous fog the head lights managed to cut through the fog and allow them to see a little bit in front of them, the headlights off the cars in front of them served as guidance.. finally the refugees noticed the hotel ' why are we going here mommy a little husky pup asked her parents who were sitting in the front ;' this place is haunted "honey, there is no such thing as ghosts.. besides this is the closest place we can stay for the night..' her father replied as they pulled in as close to the hotel as possible. they streamed out of their cars making headlong dash to the front door, squeezing inside, but not before getting a taste of the blistering agent.. after the last of the refugees closed the door. briggins came up and locked it ' i'm sorry but we cannot take any more ..its too dangerous please, all of the newcomers, please sign in..

Dirk and his group taped the cracks around the door.

"We've taped the door shut so there can be no more entrances or exits," Dirk said.

Rime, Ruby and Chomper arrived through the portal dragging three leaf sleds laden with fresh fish and shellfish. Around them, the refugees were chatting and eating.

"Thanks for the help, Chomper and Ruby!" Rime said.

Two civilians helped Rime carry the fish into the freezer.

"We'll need to have Jason scan the foods before we eat them," Mr. Bigmouth said.

"Jason, the plant foods are sitting in the foyer and the fish is in the freezer. Can you please ensure that they are edible by the others?" he asked.

Deimos's radio beeped and he answered it. He then swore. "Mitch, Stripetail, Carson City Camp is indeed sending reinforcements but due to the gas blanketing the town, they requested that they use the Inglorious Hotel as a base camp."

Strut's radio beeped as well and he answered it. "The friendly drones from Arkan AFB are patrolling over the hotel as we speak."

"The combat robots?" Dr. Zanasiu asked.

"Well, they're currently patrolling the hotel grounds but we cannot see them."

A Malamute soldier had a laptop open and the view showed the view of surf Point's ground area through the eyes of the combat robot. "We will eventually need to reload their weapons," he said.

Very well" Stripetail said.. "But tell them that we have gas around the hotel as well.. the wind is moving the gas all over the region.. how many soldiers are they sending.. we will have to rely on the Great valley for more food in that case.."

tarrax climbed up the stairs to get a good view as he did the pie throwing ghost appearing ' ah, new guests to pie" She cackled "you try and i'll bake you into a pie' Tarrax said giving the pie throwing ghost a glare.. "it's what i've done for.. as long as i can remember.." the ghost retorted "and you died because you pied the wrong person.." Tarrax sniffed a black ring of smoke coming out of his nose..' shouldn't that have taught you something..

Deimos radioed Carson City Camp. After a few minutes, he cut the transmission and spoke. "I believe we will be getting about 350 soldiers, a few Humvees and Stryker fighting vehicles and maybe an MLRS or 2, an anti air vehicle, and maybe an Abrams tank. Also, they are aware that gas is blanketing the hotel but I previously told them that the hotel is the safest place," he said.

"Stripetail, how are we going to break the curse with so many people here?" Strut asked.

"Not to mention we simply don't have enough weapons to arm everyone in the hotel," Zachary added. "Even with Hans's order of weapons."

The demon is located below the hotel, to be precise beloew the kitchen.. we will need to keep everyone not involved in breaking the curse out of the kitchen.. as for getting everyone weapons, we're simple going to have to keep making them.." Stripetail replied.. "Those Soldiers from Carson City will have to find rooms in here, there are 1000 rooms in this hotel which means about 3 per room.. I'd wager this hotel hasn't seen this level of occupation in decades.."

Dorathy, her friends and Quetzal wrote their names in the sign in book. Tik-tok's was precise due to his clockwork, and all his functions being fully would up. The scarecrow's was messy, due to his not needing to write much.

"Ok." Jason said and went to get his tricorder to start scanning the food. "Hmm, looks like this bark stuff is high in vitamin c and a type of pain reliever similar to aspirin or Tylenol. " Jason said.

"I wonder if there'll be enough room for everyone." Brooklyn said.

"I think I'll be sleeping in my console room. It'll mean more room in the hotel." Jason said.

"Me too." Guilmon said.

"Looks like we'll have archers and slingers fighting alongside riflemen," Mr. Bigmouth said.

"Yeah, but we'll need to train the refugees in the use of them but the shooting range is completely inaccessible," Zachary said.

"Can we use the Great Valley?" Dr. Zanasiu asked.

Mr. Bigmouth shook his head. "No firearms or explosives in the Valley except for enchanted stones or arrows," he said sternly.

"In any case, I'm heading to bed," Dirk said with a yawn. He then went up the stairs. Clive, Al, Dr. Kerzach and Werner followed him.

Dr. Zanasiu, Rime and Zachary filed up to Rime's room.

Dr. Kerzach headed to his room, which he now shared with Mr. Bigmouth and Ms. Swimmer.

Werner and Franz decided to sleep on the couch as Hans was still being treated for his burns

Strut and Deimos had decided to leave their firearms and armor behind and stay at the Great Valley.

Setsuna headed to her room, which she now shared with a waiter, a cashier and a man who was dressed in a bathing suit.

Clive, Al, Jose, Dirk and Kurt were all sharing a single room.

Dixie went up to her room which she now shared with Scooby, Freddy Daphne velma, Robbie Spyro and Cynder.
Agumon kept the door open as Genki entered. the room would now be shared with Agumina, Tai, Genki, Tiger tigeress , Sora and Biyomon.
Matt and Gabumon would share with Tk and Palomon, Izzy Tentomon and Joe and Gommamon.

Jason finished scanning the food, taking notes he put onto each. Notes like high in vitamin c and such like that.

Dorathy and most of the others started to go around and help the folks. The wizard want around and put on small shows to try to keep folks entertained using a mix of some real magic he knew, some slight of hand and other things. Quezel went in a different room to do some entertaining using some magic to make simple illusions to help his storytelling.

sure' Venus smiled, and kissed him smack on the lips. the kiss was brief as Venus pulled away after a couple seconds.. but the kiss had been shared " Well.. I don't think we'll be able to go out again anytime soon " Venus said " Now we just have to find the others..'
