Nick Completed his section of the Inventory and went over to Check on how the others were doing
_ Cynder reached the 4th floor, delicately balancing the food she had gotten for Dixie. She went over to Room 416 and knocked on the door " Tigress, could you open the door? I',m here with Dixie's breakfast..Tigress?' Cynder paused there was no movement in the room, "she must have fallen asleep.. Just then the Door open, and a very tired looking Tigress stood at the door "Sorry.. I was taking a nap.. Come in.." Tigress yawned and headed back into the room. just set the food tray next to the bed..' Tigress yawned as she climbed back on the bed and curled up next to Dixie..
- You two have gotten pretty close.. Cynder Remarked setting the food down next to Dixie "Yeah.. she's a good friend.. " Tigeress said from the bed. "Just don't take it too far.. remember She has to balance enough relationships as it is..what with our relationship and her relationship with Scooby, and mine with Spyro. I do hope you guys aren't going that route.." cynder said "No, no, we';ve both agreed that going there wouldn't serve either of us well' tigress replied..
- look what she does with you is between the two of you..within reason. i don't hink I need to explain that.. Tigeress nodded..

Alright, go back to sleep.. I might bring you up some food later, if you want.." Cynder said kindly

Yeah I could go for some food.. i haven't had anything to eat for awhile' Darren admitted His voice was still quiet, it would be awhile before his voice recovered..

Deimos left the room and headed downstairs.

"We are running very low on potatoes," Zachary reported.

"Fish and seafood are in sufficient supply," Dr. Zanasiu said.

"Canned goods are in working order but sodas and alcoholic beverages are running low," Rime said.

"Hey, Nick, remember when we used Molotov cocktails against the Shurlups? If we have flammable liquids and glass bottles, we can make some and arm the refugees with them," Zachary said.

Yes, but Remember that we'll still have the mustard gad floating around here for awhile, So yes the Moltovs could work, if the gas clears first. I'm pretty sure mustard gas is flammable " Nick said "So we're low on potatoes, how many sacks do we have left? he asked Zachary.. "once these supplies run out, we'll be living completely off Great Valley food.."

The husky and the doberman were sitting in bed for no particular reason.

"I wonder where that Parvo is." the husky said.

"Hiding so I do not bite him tushie." The doberman said. "and my perfect body also makes him afraid of me ." the doberman said as he posed a bit while sitting in bed.

Ms. Swimmer returned from the foraging expedition with a full ice chest.

"Nick! We're back!" Ms. Swimmer said, walking into the kitchen carrying an ice chest. She opened it to reveal that it was full of fish and other seafood.

"Wow," Dr. Zanasiu said. "Where are the others?" he asked.

They'll be coming soon."

Ms. Swimmer then left the kitchen to have a snack.

Nick muttered as Ms Swimmer returned " so you got back.. and I see you've brought in a nice haul.. great! This will serve as dinner tonight..

no, he needs someone else to walk him, as Hunter towards the closet where there was banging and whimpering coming inside. " hunter opened the door " blitz! why did you put muzzle in a closet? You know he hates the dark and being alone! Come on boy, we'll let you out for a walk.. come guys lets go get something to eat' hunter said wheeling Muzzle out, who looked happy to see him..

Mr. Bigmouth and Strut returned through the portal. Their dinosaur assistants also placed leaf sleds filled with berries and leaves by the portal and returned back to the Great Valley.

Mr. Bigmouth and Strut entered the kitchen and emptied out their bags.

Strut's backpack was filled with taro like tubers and Mr. Bigmouth's messenger bag was filled with the edible bark and several coconut like fruits.

"Damn! You guys are good!" Zachary said.

Mr. Bigmouth chuckled. "There's more fruit out in the foyer," he replied.

"He could have had part of one of the beds. I found the floor very comfortable. As soft as snow to sleep on but not as cold." The Husky said.

Mr. Bigmouth and Strut returned with the fruit and began washing them. They then placed them in a bowl and set it out in the dining room. They then returned to the kitchen.

"So what are going to do with these?" Zachary asked, holding up one of the hairy tubers.

"As an experiment, I cooked one in a campfire a few days ago. It was very similar to a baked potato but a bit sweeter," Mr. Bigmouth replied.

"And this won't kill us will it?" Dr. Zanasiu asked.

Mr. Bigmouth stuck all the tubers into his messenger bag. "You know, I'd better get Jason," he said. "But the fruits, bark, fish, shellfish and vegetables I can assure you are safe. I had Jason scan them," he added.

Mr. Bigmouth then left the kitchen.

"Ah, new ingredients! Excellent, I will attempt to make some new recipes," Haresh said.

Mr. Bigmouth found Jason refilling the a pitcher with essential water. "Jason, these tubers have been harvested from the Great Valley. Dinosaurs are capable of eating them but I am not sure about this world's beings, would you mind scanning them?" he asked, handing over the messenger bag. "Actually, I also have another request, can you give myself some instrument to determine if this world's beings can safely eat a particular plant or not?" he added.

Jason paused in what he was doing as he turned to look at Mr. Bigmouth. Jason nodded, and took out his tricorder and started to scan the tuber. He looked at the readout on the small screen.

"If it is cooked enough it will be eatable." he said, leaving out the technical explanations. "As for the instrument I can give you one like this one I have here." Jason said as he held up his next gen era tricorder, "Or if this one is to small I can give you a larger model from earlier. And if you want a larger screen to read I can give you a wrist type computer with a larger hologram type screen that you can read if you want." he said.

"I'll go and get a model that came out around 80 years before this one did & see if that one is ok for your size. Otherwise I may need to quickly put together something." Jason said then went back into his tardis to one of the storage areas. He then came out with a classic star trek era tricorder. He held this up.

"How is this for size?" Jason asked.

Mr. Bigmouth carefully handled the tricorder. "This one is perfectly sized, thank you," he said, taking the tricorder and carefully placing it into a side pocket in his messenger bag.

He then returned to the kitchen and emptied out the tubers in the bag.

"What's the verdict?" Dr. Zanasiu asked.

"Cook them thoroughly before eating," Mr. Bigmouth replied.

Haresh picked up one of the tubers. "Ah, this might go well in curry," he said.

"Knock yourself out."
