Insane Cafe 3: The Curse of the Haunted Hotel

[Kor]

"I'm glad it's the right size.  Good luck." Jason said, returning to filling the various water containers with essential water that he had been doing before.

"I do think tonight we should let Muzzle sleep on the bed.  He may like that." the Husky said.  

"I don't want to sleep next to the crazy doggy." The doberman said.

"You can sleep on the floor like I do. It is very comfortable." The husky said.

[Nick22]

Muzzle can sleep by me' Colleen said. " You'd like that wouldn't you muzzle?
- Muzzle wagged his tail again.. and whimpered.. he was hungry.. ' lets go get some breakfast..' collen said. " Blitz Exile.. come on..

[Serris]

"Nick, there are bowls of fruit in the dining room," Strut said.

Rime was carrying out a tray of pickled herrings and salmon jerky to the dining room.

Haresh was chopping up some garlic in preparation for his curry.

Dr. Kerzach and some chefs from Zemoth's were cleaning the fish and shellfish that Ms. Swimmer and her friends had caught.

Dr. Zanasiu and Zachary left the kitchen and headed to the lobby.

[Kor]

"Who will feed the crazy doggy?" The Doberman asked, a bit unsure and afraid of feeding Muzzle.  

"Why don't we all take turns, then we can all share the fun equally." The Husky said.   "To bad I was asleep or else Muzzle would not have wound up in closet."

The 2 of then started towards the door then the stairway.  

"It'll be hard to carry him down the stairs." The Doberman said.

"Maybe when we get to the breakfast area we can let Muzzle choose first." The husky said while turning to look at Muzzle, "What do you say, would you like to choose what you want for breakfast first?" He asked Muzzle.

Jason finished refilling all the water containers with essential water, regardless of how much water or essential water was left.   Then he paused on what to do next.  

Since they knew most of the folks were awake The Tin Woodman, The Scarecrow, Scraps the Patchwork girl and Tik-Tok started going around to help the others.  The Wizard and Quetzal were talking & working out a schedule so they could help entertain the folks in the hotel and take turns so they could rest as well.  As well as doing the occasional entertainment time show thing together.

Tarrax went over and had a discussion with the wizar, he would join in the story-telling to entertain the children
BUlk and Skull wolfed down their food, and headed back to the line for seconds..

slice those into pieces, and store the ones that don't get eaten..we'll have to limit the size of the meals..' Nick repluied
- Cynder entered the room and sat down next to spyro. "I gave Dixie her food, shes asleep..
- she must have been up late last night.." Spyro said "Very late.. She only got in around 5.. she said there was a ghost party in the ballroom.. Cynder replied
_  ghost party?' Hunter raised his eyebrows.."Very peculiar.. but then again this place is very peculiar..
_ Stripetail came up to Scooby's table "Once we are done eating, Scooby, we're going into the kitchen to confront the demon.. Get your group together..

We're coming along" Matt said overhearing him. "you're part of the group' stripetail replied  all in all there will about 40 confronting the demon the group from pelvanids, the digidestined which is 16 by themselves, scooby and his team which makes 10 more, and anyone who is not involved in entetrtaining the guests..

[Kor]

"Ok, we need to decide on schedules so we have time off to relax, and maybe some time so we can all get together to talk and get ideas for new shows and things we can do, sometimes acting 2 or more together." The wizard said to Quetzal and Tarrax.

"It does sound like a lot that will be confronting the demon." Jason said.  His friends, apart from Sara and Velma who had slept elsewhere, were finished with their breakfast and getting ready so exited the tardis.

Mesa ready" stiftch said, as he shoveled the food into his mouth.. " this demon has held the curse in place for over a century.."Izzy said " It won't be easy to defeat him, even with so many arrayed against him.. The originsl owner must have had some magical ability to confront the demon, but it clearly wasn't enough
- Ro re rare ro rear rour armor, right?' scooby rasked.. "Yeah, I think that would be a safe bet' agumon said in reply. Agumina nibble on her food as she looked around. the dining room was filled with people.. indeed the hotel had not seen this level of occupants sinces its early heyday..

Hey Scooby.. go Get Tigress' Genki said "We're going to confront the demon soon..
_ Let him finish eating first" Shaggy replied . "Hes going to need all the energy he can get.

Dixie stirred from her sleep, and looked around the room the room was filled with a sickly yellow light, as the sunlight was reflcted off the gas surrounding the hotel. Tigress slept on beside her.. clearly she needed her sleep.. What time is it.. she murmured.. looking down at her ring "Time" she called out and the time flashed on the rings face it was 10:04 a.m. "still only about 5 hours of sleep" she muttered.. Tigress stirred next to her " What time is it? she mumbled. " Just after ten.. I'm going to go shower.." Dixie said "um.. I need a bath too, haven't had one since we got here.. and my fur is starting to clump" Tigress said yawning and stretching
_ Dixie looked at her.. " alright we'll share a shower.. just.. well. keep to your half and don't look at my front.." Oh.. you mean your chest?' Tigress said.. "Yes.." came the reply..  I'll get in first and then call you in.. i'll get the water warmed up a bit.."
_ ok" tigress nodded i'll wait outside.. she said as Dixie went into the bathroom and closed the door behind her. Dixie took off her dress and sat it on the toilet, then climbed into the tub, and pulled the drapes across to give her some privacy.. the drape was among the only things Robbie hadn't cleaned yet, it was blotchy and had green spots in various places.. Dixie turned o n the water, it was murky brown and ice cold upon first contact.. she waited a few minutes before the water began to warm before called Tigress in..
_ You can come in now Tigress.." The door to the bathroom opened and Tigress came in. Dixie wrapped her arms around her chest and huddled closer to the faucet. "Ok' Tigress said " er.. what part of the tub should I take "Tigress asked " You can take the back half.. I'm near the Front.." Dixie replied..
_ Tigress slid the drape aside to find Dixie near the faucet "ok, so I'll get in.. oh its pretty warm " tigress said as she climbed in the tub, which was a quarter full of water..  Once she was in.. Dixie pulled the drape back.. In the wall there were two small soaps that looked like they had been there a long time.. Dixie pulled one of the soaps away and handed it to Tigress " Here work the soap into your fur.. Tigress nodded and took the soap.. "Um.. Cynder left you your breakfast on the bedside table.. she brought it in about a hour or so ago.."
_ thanks, Once we're finished we can go eat, and join the others downstairs.." Dixie said, turning away from Tigress and beginning to run the soap into her fur and create a lather, which she then wiped off by dipping her body into the water.. Dixie could see loose fur floating away from her as she cleaned her front off. Tigress  noticed she didn;'t have much room to move as she bumped into Dixie  as she tried to get into a comfortable position.. she rubbed her soap into her fur and tried to wash the soap off with the limited water that was available to her..
 could you move up a bit.. so i can clean myself off..' she asked.. ' i don't have much room here..
- Well this bathtub is pretty small. I'll try and give you as much room as I can" dixie replied from the front.. she moved closer to the faucet as she had an idea "I'll turn on the shower.. She said flipping the switch from  and soon Tigress was hit by a faceful of water " ah.." She sputteed  "its hot!' "Sorry" dixie apologized and turned the water dial slightly towards the middle.. it took a couple seconds to cool off the water.  Tigress let the water rush over her body and let the loose fur and soap run into the water.. 'thats much better.. she said as she finished washing her self off .. "Um Dixie could you change my form so I can be a biped.. like you.."Dixie looked at her.. 'Um.. I've never done anything like that.. I can do some small magic with the ring..but I've never tried anything like that.."
I trust you" Tigress said "Give it a shot..' " tonight.. i don't feel like doing it right now.. besides we're done with the shower..
_ alright" tigeress said, ans suddenly wrapped herself around Dixie and put her tongue into her mouth, pushing deep into the back of her mouth and into her throat. Dixie was surprised at first, but eventually settled into the the kiss. which lasted for nearly five minutes as the girls kissed and licked each other. Dixie Finally broke away and her tongue came out of Tigress mouth.. "Ok.. um.. lets go.."

[Serris]

The Pelvanida group had left the kitchen as Stripetail spoke. Several minutes later, they stood in the foyer all ready for battle. All of them were wearing their armor and combat helmets.

Deimos had his sniper rifle and some hand grenades clipped to his armor. Dr. Zanasiu and Strut both wielded shotguns. Rime had his sniper rifle and Zachary had his grenade launcher and several spare grenades clipped to his armor

Dr. Zanasiu and Zachary also wore their acid and fireproof labcoats which also happened to be stab and slash proof.

Dr. Kerzach opened his switchblade. He had no helmet or armor to speak of except his acid and fireproof labcoat which also happened to be stab and slash proof.

Mr. Bigmouth was armed with his bow and a quiver of arrows. His rifle was also strapped across his back. He was not wearing any armor.

"Let's rock," Deimos said.

"Stripetail, we're ready," Rime said.

Ms. Swimmer was standing in the foyer with her trademark twin sticks and club. She too, had no armor.

Dirk and Kurt heard the announcement and they retrieved their personal firearms, a .45 caliber semi auto pistol and a .50 caliber revolver from their rooms. In a few minutes, they stood by the Pelvanida group.

Al, Clive and Jose grabbed 12 gauge pump shotguns from the latest shipment of weapons, which was sitting in a closet. They began loading them and sticking extra shells in their pockets.

Werner kept his 12 gauge shotgun while Hans and Franz kept their melee weapons. Both of them were sitting on couches in the foyer.

Paul and Anton grabbed 7.62 x 39 mm rifles and several magazines from a closet and began loading them.

Setsuna was finishing her meal of pickled herrings.

" armor up guys' Agumon said soon, the eight of them stood there wearing thier armor.. "I'll go get Tigress and Dixie " Cynder said "They should be up by now..
_ The two girls finished the shower, and climbed out of the tub. Dixie put her dress back on after wiping herself off.. "Ok lets get something to eat, then we need to get going.." dixie said. The girls looked at each other briefly,  then Tigress reared up on her back legs and kissed dixie on the lips again. the kiss was brief.. "I'm saving myself for tonight.." She whispered in dixies ear.. as they parted and headed out to the room to eat the breakfast Cynder had left, a tray of pancakes muffins and a couple glasses of juice..

[Serris]

Setsuna finished her meal and stood in the foyer and looked around. "I take it that we are preparing for battle with the demon?" she asked.

Deimos nodded.

Setsuna then took off her rucksack. "Hmm. Three mana potions, two antidote potions and two healing potions. Looks good for now," she said. She then turned to Stripetail. "Stripetail," she asked, "are the new mana potions ready yet?"

[Nick22]

Yes" stripetail said, reaching into his robes and pulling out four small viakls.. "We'll see how effective these potions are.. they may not be as pure as the ones you have there.. but all we can do is find out..

Tigress took a piece of fruit and began munching on it.. "I just realized now how hungry I am.. I usually am not that hungry.." She said swallowing her piece, and reaching for another...
_ Dixie sliced up a pancake and handed half to tigress who ate ravenously..

[Serris]

"Thank you," Setsuna said, taking the vials.

"Mr. Bigmouth! You have the key?" Dr. Kerzach asked.

"Got it!" Mr. Bigmouth said, fishing out the large obsidian key from a leaf pouch. He left the messenger bag by the weapons table. Some spare magazines for his rifle dangled loosely from a vine bandolier.  

"Shaggy, Nani, I hope you've practiced enough with your new heavier weapons. The .22 caliber rifle is not going to cut it," Deimos said.

[Nick22]

Shaggy gulped.. yum.. not really" he said Nani shrugged " I have a little.. " This is going to be one heck of  a test run.." she said
_ Cynder  reached Room 416 and knocked on the door " Dixie answer " Oh.. you're awake" Cynder said. dixie let her in, meanwhile Tigress was continuing to munch on the food, she had already eaten half the pancakes " those were supposed to be for Dixie' Cynder complained " Its fine.. shes hungry" Dixie shrugged " So is breakfast over? " Yes we're going after the demon.. armor up.. Both of you.." Cynder said. " tigress.. finish what you are eating.. we need to go" Dixie said to Her " Tigress finished the pancake she was on.. and headed over to them. "

[Serris]

"Which weapon did you decide to train with?" Strut asked.

"So far, the Rime and myself will probably do sniping. The riflemen, shotgunners and pistoliers will engage at medium to short range. Zachary will probably engage at medium range because of his explosive weaponry. Ms. Swimmer and Dr. Kerzach will be out of the fight because they have no ranged attacks. However, we cannot discount the fact that the demon may summon other entities to attack us. Those two will have to protect us from them. Mages can fight at whatever ranges they feel most comfortable at," Deimos said.

"What about the refugees?" Dr. Zanasiu asked.

"They'll have to stay out of the kitchen. We'll need someone to block off the kitchen."

Al, Clive and Jose had finished loading their shotguns and stocking up on ammo. They stood with Dirk and Kurt next to a bucket filled with sling stones.

Werner stood near the exit of the hotel with Paul and Anton, who had loaded their weapons and the spare magazines. Hans and Franz stood by the with their melee weapons, a fire ax and a piece of rebar respectively, at the ready.

Dixie Cynder and Tigeress activated their armor and headed downstairs " stripetail we're coming" dixie spoke into her ring as they rounded the third floor landing " Hurry up" came the reply We will be heading into the passage as soon as you arrive"
_ Stripetail turned to the others  We will need a couple people to stand guard over the passageway while we descend..

[Kor]

"I guess they all left." Odysseus said.

Jason shrugged his shoulders, "Not like everyone could likely fit in the tunnels since they do not use relative dimension technology nor the magic version." Jason said.

"It'll give Brooklyn a chance to get a full sleep anyway.  Been a while since he has really slept anyway." Odysseus said.

[Nick22]

Briggins came into the room as Jason and oddyseus did " i will need more storytellers for the gyuests on floors 6, 7 and 8, you can use the library' He said to them " whatever stories you care to tell.."

[Kor]

"I can tell some stories of the Knights of the Round table, Robin Hood and the travels of Odysseus, since I was there first hand to see them or hear them from some of the other knights of the round table when we would gather to tell tales of our adventures." Odysseus said.

"Dorathy and her friends can tell stories of their adventures.  Maybe I could show adventures of Littlefoot and Dink, from the time lord records & dvd's.  I do have data cloth in the tardis that can be used as a monitor." Jason said.

"Maybe Velma can tell some stories of some mysteries she and her friends solved." Odysseus said.  "Maybe you can show some of the doctor's adventures."

"Those are recorded in the matrix, even though they are ancient history.  The unclassified ones may be ok to show." Jason said.

whatever works for you.. until the mustard gas lifts, we have no alternatives but to have storytelling, and guided tours..those are not for the faint of heart though.." Briggins replied.
