Dixie Stirred after about an hour of sleep, and looked over at Scooby.. who was still asleep.. " Scooby.. Scooby.. time to get up" Dixie said Soothingly, giving her partner a friendly lick.. and Scooby opened his eyes " Ris rit rime ro reat?' and Dixie laughed ' always thinking about food.. alright lets go downstairs and get something to eat.. You know I think we should go dancing in the ballroom tonight.. I really enjoyed last night down there

Over in the "refugee camp", some of them were pitching tents while others were cooking or going to sleep. The dinosaurs paid little attention to them but some archers and speardinos stood guard over them.

Some of the dinosaurs were instructing the refugees on what was safe to eat in the valley.

One Lion refugee was trying to light a fire with some flints but was failing. A Fast-Runner decided to assist him in doing so.

A Human refugee was boiling some water in a pot be bought from the hotel.

Pelvanida Group, the NUMA Group, Setsuna, the bounty hunters, the Lipizzaners, Haresh, some members of the SPVDF returned to the hotel.

"Yikes! I've got to get dinner ready!" Dr. Kerzach said, rushing into the kitchen.

Haresh followed him.

The wizard was in the refugee camp turning handkerchiefs into tents with comfortable interiors, a magic spell Glinda had taught him long ago and that he had used a few times on some trips he had done around in oz. The Shaggy Man's hankerchiefs, which he lent a few to the wizard, were, of course, covered in shags, though well done upper class cloth and not rags but clean shags.

Sara had brought a few enchanted pots that could cook without needing any fire, saving on wood and the hazards with having a lit fire around.

Moran and gone back and brought out from the tardis a few vapor canteens. These could take the natural water vapor in the air and condense them into pure water in the canteens, though it would take some time, and was not as fast as boiling some water.

stripetail had created some magical food dishes which would keep refilling until everyone who was eating was full.. he handed themm to several refjuugees and instructed them to pass them around.
_ Tai and his partners returned to the hotel.. and went into the diining room.. where ghostly waiters appeared out of the wall and stood next to the tables. many of them were dressed in 20s attire..

Moran went over, out of curiosity, to see what sorts of foods were in them, to see if they were a variety or mainly of one type.

After making the tents the Wizard decided to rest. He plucked off of his coat a gold pen with an emerald one end, stuck it into the ground and with a bit of magic made himself a comfortable chair to sit down in and rest form the spell casting he had done.

Dr. Kerzach was busy stirring the pot of vegan chili.

Another refugee was roasting a fish over a campfire.

A Human family was gathered around another campfire and eating dinner and chatting.

a ghostly waiter floated through the door ' table 31 requests some spices on the shrimp..
Scooby and Dixie made thier way to thier table, where for now they sat by themselves . snatches of storytelling floated in from storytelling stations set up across the hotel..

Haresh saluted the chef and added some crushed red pepper to table 31's order.

"Pasta is finished!" Haresh called.

Some waiters from Zemoth's took the dishes and carried them out. Some ghost waiters followed them.

Another ghost waiter phased in through the door. "Table 24 requests grilled fish," he said.

Dr. Kerzach nodded and tossed the fish that Ms. Swimmer caught onto the grill.

The present Jason finished doing his rounds in the hotel then went back into his tardis to rest a bit then start working on the dragonzord some more with a robot assistant he kept in the tardis to assist him with repairs and such.

The Goat was looking at a laptop that showed the feed from one of the drones. One of the screens showed a missile streaking towards it, then static.

"Chong! We've lost a drone!" he said. Several other screens showed drones and aircraft. He zoomed in on one of the planes. "Damn it! Telson AFB and Arkan AFB are defending Surf Point."

"Sir! We've intercepted a radio transmission from Carson City Camp. They're sending over 300 or so men and some armored vehicles to support the defenders but it'll take them two days or so to arrive," a Red Fox technician said.

The scarecrow took over controlling the controls on the data sheet video monitor while Tik-tok went to get fully rewound by Dorathy who was going around and helping in various places with her friends those of the refugees and others who needed help.

The extreme dinosaurs lounged in the great valley.

hmm.. that only slightly adds to thier defenses'Chong muttered ' 300 is not that many, even if they are well-trained. we already knew the hotel was heavily guarded, this merely strengthens their defenses of the hotel even further.. well, on balance this changes little, we still have vast advantage in manpower and weapons, if we need to use more mustard gas and incinderary material, then so be it.. i can't imagine things are very comfortable in that hotel right now, with so many people inside and nowhere else to go.. and given that we've destroyed nearly every town in the region, the only placeto for the Carson City forces is the hotel.. which will put even more of a strain on their food supply...

well.. how long would it take for gas released by a strike near the hotel to dissipate' Chond said looking at a screen " the gas from the last strike has stopped advancing due to a storm that is heading in the direction of Surf point.. still there is enough around the hotel to prevent nonmaagicsal creatures from leaving..

well we have enough for a couple weeks, but that time period will be drastically reduced if we get a sizable force coming in.. If Chong send another mustard gas bomb, we won't have enough food to last until that clears' Nick said.

"And we'll keep the glass bottles; we need them to make Molotov cocktails. I think we can simply deposit or burn them in the Great Valley as that was where I burnt the waste created by treating the victims of the mustard gas attack."

"Also, it seems like fair number of the refugees have set up camp in the Great Valley," a chef from Zemoth's replied, chopping up something that looked like sugarcane.
