The others left Stripetail's room and followed her down the stairs. Along the way, they passed by the patrols.

Deimos noticed that some of the patrols had been joined by the resident ghosts. He saluted a ghost dressed in a WWII era American army uniform and carrying a rifle with a bayonet. The ghost saluted back.

Suddenly, Deimos's radio crackled. "Command, this is Navaras, we have picked up planes on the edge of radar."

"S---!" Deimos said.

"Well, let's forget our troubles for now," Clive said.

Moran headed through the portal into the hotel. He looked around a bit, "Looks like a power outage." he said mainly to himself.

"Shall we eat in the tardis again, to help the food they have here stretch more?" Jason asked.

"We can, though I will get a bit tired of eating the tardis food." Sara said.

"If you want we can go to dinotopia or to your homeworld to eat there then get back here within 3 seconds after we have left." Jason said.

Sara turned to look at Tarrax, "You want to go also dear?" She asked him.

As you were" stripetail said to two ghosts who were doing guard duty on the seconf floor " they stood at attention, and waited for the wizard to pass..

Myra had soon enough, made it to the ballroom, entering it and looked around at who was dancing before looking over at where the food was, approaching it and looking at what was available to eat.

She took what was a small pie pastry to eat as she walked over to an available seat, sitting down and taking a small bite out of the small pastry.

The two Swimmers carried the dead Fast-Runner to the underground kitchen and stuffed the body into the refrigerator.

They then headed back up the stairs and into the second floor where they met Stripetail and the rest of the group.

"Oh, I see you came for exploration," Ms. Swimmer said.

The first Swimmer shook his head. "Nope, we're here to drop off a carcass," he said.

"This is not the place for carcass disposal!" Deimos said sharply.

"You fail to understand. Since we spoke to some of the refugees, we learned that they ate meat."

"So you had me, Chomper, Raptix and some other meat eating dinosaurs as allies during the War of the Beyond."

"Exactly, we figured out that the bodies of the marauding plant-eaters would stretch our food supply a bit. This was our first test: a Fast-Runner convinced his herd it would be great fun to try and hit of the refugees with sling stones and javelins. However, I regret to say that a few refugees died," the first Swimmer replied.

"You didn't use poison?" Deimos asked.

"Nah, all it took was some arrows and sling stones."

"Seriously, that is so wrong," Dr. Kerzach said.

"Which one? The marauding dinos using the refugees as target practice or the fact that these two dinos are basically encouraging us to eat dinosaurs as intelligent as themselves?" Zachary whispered.

"Both."

The two dinosaurs the continued looking around the hotel.

"Stripetail, just ignore those two. They're a little f---ed up in the head thanks to the War of the Beyond," Deimos said.

Haresh looked at the buckets of food waste that was in the kitchen. "Nick! I need someone to help me carry this for burning in the Great Valley," he said.

Myra looked to Shaggy and just shook her head "No thank you, I am rather fine, I am not a dancer" she then took another bite of her pie as she looked to those who were already dancing.

war does strange things to creatures, I've seen it before..on the other hand, we will soon be under siege, and reduced to eating what food we have..so while I don't approve- AT ALL- of the methods used to obtain this food.. it is a necessary supplement to our supplies. However, i do not want any more dinosaurs or refugees killed, understand the next refugee or dinosaur who tries to stir up trouble.. will find it: Me.. and when I'm angry, I'm not a nice creature.. at all" Stripetail said " Now, how much refugees died in that foolish test?

a portal opened onto the ballroom, and a girl witch derssed in green fell out of itm, skidded across the dance floor, knocked over a few couples, and finally crashed against the far wall in a heap " She lay there for a bit, dazed..

"Yes, I am Myra, it is very nice to meet you Juse, and it is good to have some backup" Myra replied back "And don't worry, you don't need to bow or anything, I am not of royalty or anything like that"

She seemed like she could rather easily talk with this girl, considering the fact that she was also from the same world she was from "However, it does not seem like you are very good with magic" she paused for a moment "Perhaps I could teach you, if it is something that you would like to become a better magic user"

"Like I said, the dinosaurs who did this were marauders; who cares about them? Ms. Swimmer already warned about the dangers of them. Some of the crueler dinosaurs placed the heads of the marauders on spears as a warning to stay away. It has worked so far-despite some complaints from the refugees," the first Swimmer replied.

"About five refugees died. Luckily we were able to get there in time and drive off the rest of them," the second Swimmer said.

Haresh opened the refrigerator and found the carcass of a Fast-Runner in it.

"Who put a dead dinosaur in the refrigerator!?" Haresh demanded.

Myra thought for a moment before speaking "I have a book, which might be a good read for you, it has a few spells in it, plus, some information on various topics, including my sister" she told Juse "You can have a read of it later on if you wish that is, oh, and before I do forget, it is best that you go and see that Briggins person for a room, that is, if you are staying for some time"

Meanwhile, not far from the ballroom, someone else fell out of a portal on their own with a groan. The girl in question just lay there for a few moments as three pokeballs rolled out from her belt and opened, three pokemon being released. A Pikachu, an Eevee and a Vaporeon as they ran over to the girl with Pikachu speaking up first, and using english as well "Destiny! Wake up" the female Pikachu yelled as she shook her master.

Destiny, the pokemon trainer in question, found that it was easier to train female pokemon than it was to train male pokemon, so essentially, the three pokemon in question, were all female.

Destiny gave off another groan as she sat up, looking to her three pokemon "I'm fine, but next time, remind me not to go chasing after Team Rocket" she spoke with a rub of her forehead.

"Yeah, well, I thought we did rather well" Vaporeon spoke up as she sat there, looking rather proudly.

Destiny had taught her three pokemon how to talk, much like how Meowth of team Rocket could speak himself.

"Well, all I'm wondering now is, where are we? It looks like some old rundown building of some sort" Eevee then spoke up as she had a look around herself.
