So who's doing the singing? Dixie asked as she put the finishing touches on the tray " How do they look? she smiled.
- Matt breezed though the song  as scooby sang in a light , frothy, slightly pained voice..
- Hes getting better at singing ' Stripetail said , pausing from strategy to listen to the music..

Ms. Swimmer peeked out the door. "It's Scooby," she said.

She then picked up her spearhead and got to work peeling some more apples in preparation for a fruit tart.

Guilmon drank a bit from his wine cooler.  

"At least things are better now." Guilmon said.

"Yes, hopefully it'll last a while."  Jason said.

"Should we ask lightspeed rescue for help?" Guilmon asked.

Jason shrugged, "I'm not sure they exist here in this universe.  They do in some others.  One they are led by captain mitchell in most of them.  In one universe he's a general, another one he is the red light speed ranger and in another one his daughter is a captain and the head of the base." Jason said.

Scooby? wow, hes sounding really good.. funny thing is, he normally has a gruff and low voice.. but apparently hes got a talent.. perhaps stripetail put a spell on him at some point..Dixie shrugged as she put the last of the slices on the tray. ' I'm going down there ms Swimmer, when you are done you can get ready to perform.." dixie said setting the tray down and heading out of the kitchen..

Ms. Swimmer drank some water as she sliced up some more apples. "I've got a lot of fruit tarts to make so it'll be a while," she said.

Two chefs went by here and helped her by peeling the apples.

Haresh was busy baking some of the fruit tarts.

Setsuna gulped down a tankard of ale and cheered as Scooby was singing.

Deimos was sipping some water as he stood in line in preparation to play.

A young Human girl stood in line behind him.

At this point, the processing team, having stripped off their protective suits to be cleaned and decontaminated, entered the ballroom and took some cocktails from the tray by the entrance.

Scooby, Tigeress and Agumina finished the song and headed off stage allowingDeimos to take his turn..

Tiger already suspects a lot of stuff about you, which you just admitted is true Tigress. it wouldn't take much for him to ask for another partner, or even just continue on without one.. i'm saying this to make it crystal clear girls, that the next mistake you make will be your last on this team, for one or both of you..

_ stripetail meanwhile was planning the coming invasion of Cobia Bay.. "we'll push h in using the main roads and focus on taking the main points of town, the airstrip, police station city hall etc..

Mr. Bigmouth looked at Cobia Bay's map. "They do have a power plant so it's probably best that we destroy it or disable somehow to cripple their ability to defenses," he said.

"I can call in an airstrike," the Sang-Heili commander said, walking up to their table.

Deimos got on stage and cleared his throat.

"I will be singing two songs, By Any Means Necessary and Riders of the Storm, both by Hammerfall," he said.

Rime swore. "Another metal track!?" he cried in exasperation.

"If you don't like it, shut the f--- up and leave!" Deimos snapped.

Mr. Bigmouth put down the glass he was wiping and listened attentively as several metalhead ghosts with their instruments materialized on stage. Several other guests clapped.

Deimos cleared his throat as the opening guitar riffs of By Any Means Necessary began to play. Then he began to sing as loudly as he could; his hard, growling voice carrying clear and sharp over the crowd.

Several guests cheered and some of the intoxicated ones tried to crowdsurf.

Luckily, Ceela's troops - who were serving as security - dissauded them from doing so.

Some of the females began to get misty-eyed over Deimos. His heavy black armor vest and hard, growling voice seemed to fit the music so well.

Mr. Bigmouth cheered loudly and thrust his fist into the air, forgetting that he was holding a bottle of seltzer. Those near him were showered with seltzer.

Yes Airstrikes combined with attacks from our dragons could prove very effective.. this will require the help of our two youngest dragons incedia and Glacia, who are likely somewhere in the crowd..Stripetail mused..

The Lipizzaner stallions were currently headbanging to the music.

Anton and Paul were still drinking water and eating some fruit salad.

"You know, this type of music would be better for pumping people up before battle," Anton said.

"We've still got a few helicopters so I think we can take out the power plant," the Sang-Heili commander said over the music.

"What about when we do take over? From what I gather, that power plant is Cobia Bay's only power source. Then the " Rime said, looking at his PDA and trying to ignore Deimos's singing.

"We've got some backup generators that we can have airlifted there after the battle."

"Your call. After all, you outrank me."

Mr. Bigmouth passed out some glasses of ice water to the Sang-Heili commander and Stripetail. He had one for himself. "So what's the plan? Do we destroy the power plant or what?" he asked.

"There is one problem, how powerful are Incendia and Glacia's attacks?" Rime asked. "We need something with explosive power if we want to attack the power plant."

Deimos continued singing as the crowd continued cheering.

Deimos took the opportunity to take a sip of water while the ghosts played the guitar solo. At the same time he finished drinking, the solo was finished.

The crowd erupted in thunderous cheers and whistles the track finished.
Deimos bowed and even blew kisses to some of his adoring female fans.

"And now for the next track, Riders of the Storm, also by Hammerfall. But first, let me get a snack and rest my vocal cords," he said.

The crowd burst into laughter as he walked off the stage.

"So what did you think?" Deimos asked Cynder, Dixie, Scooby and the others?

"Awesome," Strut said. "Man, you're good at singing metal."

i'm not sure how powerful their attacks are, but i do know that tarrax;s powers are more than enough to wipe out the power plant completely.  However, the power plant is the city's only source of power so completely blowing it up is not advised. we need  a nice medium, something strong enough to take out the defenses but not strong enough to blow up the plant entirely.. Stripetail said. 'when we take over, we are going to need fresh forces, as the enemy still outnumbers us by a large margin, if we could get 2-3 thousand residents of Cobia Bay to join us that would put at at 5-6000 on our side, which would be by far the most we've had since this war began. Those thay stay behind we will help them rebuild as best we can..

Metal isn't much cup of tea" matt said but you souned pretty good..
- You were certainly into the music " dixue said " although the sounds was too loud for me to hear the words at times.. But you weren't horrible judging by the crowd's reactions..

Velma was sitting alone drinking a non alchoholic drink.

Guilmon got an idea & looked at Jason after he finished what he was eating.  "maybe you can make your morphing more scary for enemies." He said.

Jason swallowed his drink then gave what Guilmon said a thought.  "making the morph sequence, which is often done in front of enemies more intimidating or startling could give one a momentary tactical advantage." He said nodding, "Good idea Guilmon.  I'll see what I can do.  Though I can't alter to much with this primitive tech quantom morpher.  When I make my own morpher I will take your idea into the build design." Jason said.    

Jason summoned the quantam morpher and took it off, taking out a few tools to start working on it while he ate now and then.  "A bit of lightning I think.  if outside coming from the sky and maybe a bit from my body after I've morphed too.  With a small explosion and red smoke.  The explosion behind the ranger and colored smoke is a classic thing done sometimes." Jason said while he worked.

Deimos bowed. "Thank you. I've always liked metal. Hell, many of my fellow guards at Pelvanida did. Probably because it sounds so...martial," he said, sipping a non-alcoholic cocktail that he got from a passing waiter.

"What about destroying the power lines to the plant?" Mr. Bigmouth asked. He then looked at the PDA a guest had loaned him. "It's a fusion power plant so if we hit it with explosives, we could ignite the hydrogen that fuels it and then we have a real problem," he added.

"That'll work," Rime said. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to try my hand at singing," he said, walking towards the stage.

Deimos nodded. "I got teleported into Pelvanida during an experiment gone wrong and after I helped fight off some terrorists bent on taking the complex and stealing its weapons, I enlisted as a guard," he said. He sipped his drink. "Technically, I hold the rank of Specialist and Rime holds the rank of Private but no need to call us by those titles," Deimos replied.

"What about the others with you?" Capt. Milos asked.

"They don't count."

I have been involved in dozens of wars Tarrax said " although the last one before this current one was 16000 years ago, and involved 5 different dragon planets, so compared to that this is a minor war.. I am a member of the Dragomalin Council, which has the power to declare war..although the Head Dragon can refuse to send forces.. he never actually has done that..

Velma nods, "I'm feeling fine.  Why do you ask?" Velma asks.

Deimos sighed as he drained the rest of his cocktail. "For now, let's relax and forget about the war," he said.

Rime got onto the stage. "In contrast to Deimos's harsh metal, I am going to try something new. This is Preliator by Globus," he said into the microphone.

At this moment, the metal ghosts phased through the floor and an entire ghostly choir and orchestra sprang up through the floor.

He then cleared his throat as the choir started to sing.

At this point, fast and deep drums as well as fast violins began playing. And Rime started singing.

Deimos inhaled his drink. "The f---!? I didn't know Rime could sign that high!" he exclaimed.

It was true, Rime's voice was surprisingly high for a male. Granted, it was deeper than the woman who originally sang it but still.

Several of the guests stared in shock at the blue Troodon with the crystalline voice.
