The Gang of Five and The Furious Five (Kung Fu Panda)

Littlefoot and Crane:* Primarily because they're both the most patient of their respective groups.

Cera and Tigress: They're both tough as nails female characters.

Ducky and Viper: They are (in my opinion) the most caring of their groups.

Petrie and Mantis: While both small, they show some of the biggest strength (Petrie: Inner// Mantis: Outer)

Spike and Monkey: I suppose because they provide some of the comic relief.

Here's a funny comparison I thought of between LBT characters and TMNT characters

:

*Cera and Raphael- they both have a short fuse that gets 'em in a pickle at times, but they're also strong and down-to-earth, and they have funny moments.

*Littlefoot and Leonardo (naturally

): they're the voice of guidance in their groups, and they are the leaders.

*Ducky and Michaelangelo- accident-prone, innocent, comical, happy, and friendly. They're the weakest fighters of the groups but both manage to fight with slapstick tactics

*Spike and Donatello- the quietest members.

*Grandpa Longneck and Master Splinter- does this need an explanation
