The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

I'm terribly accident-prone, and I've been through probably nearly every slapstick mishap there is :p.  Just today, I opened up the refridgerator and ended up receiving a liquid vegetable oil bath :x.  I guess I did not push the fryer back far enough .  I personally don't usually care for fried foods, but my mother insists on using a deep-fat fryer 'cuz she likes fried food.  Needless to say, I've got the bump on my head to prove I got pegged by the fryer :lol.  I think I'm gonna find another place for that cursed deep-fat fryer, no matter what anyone else says :idea.

^Owww...sorry to hear about that (though I cannot lie that I failed to suppress a chuckle when I read about the vegetable oil bath :oops). I too have repeatedly been booby-trapped by the refrigerators and kitchen cupboards in my house. In some cases I am merely startled by a falling object that ends up missing me (though it usually succeeds in provoking an involuntary surprised squawk that would turn the head of some exotic rainforest bird :lol), but there have been plenty of cases in which I open the door of the tallest cupboard in the house, only to be met with an avalanche of snack food boxes that have been carelessly or hurriedly stuffed in (sometimes by myself :rolleyes). On other occasions, while attempting to clear some space in the fridge, I inadvertently dislodge an opened or loosely sealed container of liquid that subsequently splatters my shirt or soaks my socks. And then there are the dreaded instances in which I have my toes traumatized by a conveniently heavy bottle, can, or jar that falls out of the fridge. In many cases, the offending foodstuffs add insult to injury by creating a mess I am obliged to clean up. And, of course, there are the times when my skirmish with the pantry consists of me simply hitting my head on the cupboard or freezer door. :wacko

I also stub my toes A LOT.

I've posted 42 times in this thread (43, now :p); over 16% of all the GoF posts I’ve ever made.

The following are the emoticons I've used in those posts and the number of times I've used each one (including that last tongue one):

Am I random, or what?

^I use " :p " the most out all of the smilies. Next would probably be " :) ", then " :D ", and then " :P: ".

Well let's see. One thing about me some of you may find intresting is that Land Before Time was actually the first movie I had ever seen. And that's something I take a lot of pride in  :lol

My dream is to become a comic writer. I've got quite a few ideas(some of which I posted on my DA account) although the one I'm best known for would have to be my Dragon's World series(Shameless advertising FTW XD!)

I type too much!

I actually can't snap my fingers at all. Yet I can whistle perfectly.

I am ridiculously addicted to Skittles, due to Immelmann's Concession comic.  And I eat mints a lot, too.

I don't really like Skittles... mints are fine by me, though.

I'm bored as heck if I got nothing to do and no one to talk to :p
