The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

I'd like a dog if I had a yard and enough time and patience for one... and a big yard.

My taste in music is very diverse. I'll really listen to anything with good lyrics and a great sound. ^^

Most of the music I enjoy is from the soundtracks of movies and TV shows (I almost never listen to music on its own), but my musical tastes seem to follow that same sort of pattern. So...number five, I guess. :p

I usually shy away from physical contact with other people (except with family members, I only shake hands, hug, etc. if it is requested), but when I do hug, I don’t give bear hugs; I give anaconda hugs. :p

I’m really awkward with handshakes, though. I always end up crushing the other person’s hand and letting my arm flop when my own hand is shaken. :rolleyes

So is mine, though I'm partial to rock, so that makes seven of us :smile.

I flinch and/or stiffen up if I become the recipient of an unexpected gesture of affection, but if I forsee the gesture coming or if I'm the one giving the gesture, then I don't have this reaction.  In general, I'm quite an affectionate individual :).

I do not like being physical contact nor do I like giving it (not even to my own family members).

I have stayed up all night on numerous occasions (the first I remember being Christmas Eve one year :rolleyes), including several times this past summer. Usually I don’t make it through the day after without napping at some point, though. There was at least one instance this summer that I remained awake all night and went to bed at noon. :p
