The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

"Thanks you guys," Chomper said, amazed that his friends would stay with him on this adventure. He'd thought they'd want to go back to their families ASAP.

"Don't mention it, Chomper." - Rhamphy said as he winked an eye.

"We will be glad to help you." - Trod replied too - "and it seems we are all looking forward to this adventure."

"I'm glad we're helping your folks Chomper." Littlefoot said.  Littlefoot nodded to what was said, "Yea, but at least this time we'll have some ideas what to expect since we're going along some areas we've been through before." Littlefoot said.

"That is one good thing, it is it is.  Though some things may have changed since we were traveling through, maybe not all things have changed, maybe."  Ducky said.

"At least you do have an idea of how that place looks like, that can really be an advantage." - Rhamphy said as he began walking too.

"For us it will be a totally new place. As it would be the fabled Great Valley you seem to come from." - Trod and Rhamphy don't know the Great Valley, they just know stories about them, maybe told by errant herds.

Cory laughed, "Well, I won't say the Great Valley isn't...great, it is" he told Rhampy and Trod, "but...I don't know, it becomes just another normal place that's kinda cool once you've lived there a bit" he told them.

"Then swarming leaf gobblers eat everything..." Petrie said sadly.

"Yeah" Kit agreed, "it wouldn't look very great right now".

"Yea," Littlefoot said sadly, but he brightened up and looked at the others, "I'm sure the green food will regrow if we give it some time." He said.

"I hope so, I do, I do." Ducky said nodding her head.

"So let's be on our way," grinned Chomper.

As they walked along, Cory thought on their dead Valley. "I'm sure it will grow back" he agreed, "but you know, was just thinking, my mom once told me about these plants that stink to Sharpteeth...uh no offense" he told the sharpteeth with them, "but I wonder, are there plants that stink to swarming leaf gobblers, if so maybe we should put some in the Valley somehow".

"I don't think there's any green food the swarming leaf gobbler's don't like" Kit voiced, remembering how quickly they'd eaten everything.

"No offense taken." Dein said "Of course, if you have said: 'plants that stinks like sharpteeth', then we both would have a problem. Yours would be running away from me and mine would be catching you, Cory." he added, grinning mischievously.

"Well, if Leaf Gobblers ate those plants, it may be a problem for your valley. But maybe those leaves stink for them too, that would be something to hope for." - Trod said, walking along the others.

"Even if the Leaf Gobblers did eat the stinky leaves, well, since all Leaf-eater left the Valley then there is no good for Sharpteeth if there is no prey to hunt." - Rhamphy added, taking a look at his surroundings, last time he was there, it was night time and he was too tired to even notice how were the mountains, the shore... anything at all.

"I'm sure the leaves will eventually grow back.  We just have to give it time." Littlefoot said.

"They will, they will.  Till then we can help Chomper's family.  I do hope our families return to the Great Valley eventually, I do, I do." Ducky said.

Littlefoot looked at Ducky.  "If they find some green food and stay together they can have some of the flyers now and then fly near or over part of the Great Valley & see if the green food as grown back. & can return once it has." Littlefoot said, a bit sad at not being with their families or in the Great Valley, but happy they were together and as well having met new friends and helping Chomper's family.

Trod nodded to what Littlefoot said and replied - "I have heard stories, maybe the bad event about the Leaf Gobblers was not as bad at all, because I've heard that it will allow your Valley to renew itself. So you may get to see it more green than ever."

"And sending Flyers to investigate and keep an eye on the Valley is good too, because we Flyers can be good at that, and as scouts too." - Rhamphy said.

Cory thought about what Chomper's dad said and then laughed, though still a bit nervously, "Yeah, I guess it would have been bad if I said it that way" he admitted.

Kit nodded, "Yeah, I know you guys are probably right". She tried to imagine the Great Valley greener than it had been.

"So... How long you think it will take us to get to that Valley of the Mist, Littlefoot?" Papa Sharptooth asked.

"That would be nice to know." - Trod said, but he is just been curious.

"I am more concerned if that place makes justice to it's name, if that is true, then flying there will be near impossible." - Rhamphy commented.

Littlefoot nods, "If I take into account how long it took Ali and me to get from the Great Valley to the valley of mists, and us 5 to get from the Great Valley to here a day to get from here to the Valley of mists sounds about right." Littlefoot said.

"I agree, I do, I do." Ducky said nodding.

Petrie got lost on the counting of days somewhere, but had to agree that that Littlefoot said sounded about right.

"Yeah, somewhere around just one day and before the next bright circle rises I think" Kit agreed.

"Well, that is no bad. I must admit I was expecting all of you to say we would need perhaps a dozen Bright Circles to get there." - Trod said, smiling in relief.

"Then it would be nice to keep going. So the sooner we start, the sooner we will get there." - Rhamphy said, giving small hops as he walks. Like he usually do when he is happy.
