Dein continued to eat longneck when he heard a sound of movement behind him. He just sighed and look back. This was (again) this relentless pach of chirping-biters, who all were observing him with the same pleading look...
"<What you want this time?>" he asked snippy.
"<The same thing we wanted earlier, Big One.>" Sog asnwered and others shouted:
"<Food! Food! Food!>"
"<Is this the only word you are able to say?!>" Dein roared, quite annoyed.
"<No!>" small biters answered in unison and Sog said, trying to be as much polite as he could:
"<So, Big One? Could we have what will be left of this longneck?>"
"<I thought I've gave you a swimmer already? Wasnt that enough?>"
"<But we couldnt get it, Big One! You've forbidden us to go to your nest and you told us we must wait for you outside of it.>"
"<Ah... Yes. I remember. Well... Wait till I finish then.>" Dein said and went back to eating. After a few heart beats, chirping biters came to other side of a longneck's corpse, so they were facing Papa Sharptooth.
"<Thats alright, Big One. Take your time. There is no rush.>" Sog said cheerfully. That angered greatly Dein, since it sounded to him as if this scavanger was doing him a favour. He mustered his self-control though and tried to eat, but he soon lost his appetite as the whole group of chirping biters was still watching him. He rose up.
"<Alright, you can have it now.>" he said.
"<Now?>" Sog asked a bit perplexed "<Are you sure you dont want to eat some more? We can wait and the big sharptooth as yourself...>"
"<Choose your next words carefully, Sog>" Dein interrupted "<They may be your last.>". The little scavanger just gulped and said a bit terrified:
"<Thank you for your generosity, Big One>".
Papa Sharptooth didnt tell anything and walked away, going to place where Chomper and his leafeater friends were...
