"Then we'll have to take out more than just the cams," Feral replied. "Aiko, hack into the systems controlling this level, but don't do anything with it until I tell you."
Aiko begins to do so with a laptop and a small press pad next to one of the hall doors. "We're gonna lock them out, boss?"
"No. We're going to lock them in..."
"Isn't that a little harsh, Commander?" Dr Joe knew what he was planning.
"We have to get to the ventilation system on the other side of this floor. And I don't think we can handle a battalion every time we round a corner."
"But still, we can't simply let out these dangerous experiments out to keep the extermination squads off us. If the guards don't kill us, the experiments can!"
"Aren't we experiments dangerous?" Snow asked, sadly. "What makes us any better than the ones here?"
"Are we really going to sit here and listen to this?!" Aiko looked from his computer.
"Keep on what you're doing," Vic beat Feral to the line.
"The difference between you two and the ones down here," Dr Joe answered, "is that you both have the capability of understanding when to use your powers. You do it to protect yourself and others. But most of the ones here either do not have the ability to understand or don't care, and use their powers instinctively to kill as they please."
