Dr. Zanasiu got back to his feet. "The base is in lockdown due to us. As I stated before, we were contracted by Carson City Camp to destroy a series of illegal experiments known only as Dragonstorm. In addition, various security squads are after us as well." He then radioed Dr. Bailey. "Doc B, this is Doc Z, we have found our missing person."

"Roger that. Doc B out."

"That was Dr. Bailey, our command source if you will. We'll introduce you to him and he'll orient you to everything that's going on."

Dr. Bailey then turned to Aisha. "James has found our missing person."

Dr. Kerzach looked at the toilet. "If we can cause some sort of serious disturbance then the guards will have to investigate. We can subdue them and take their keys." he whispered

He then looked under the sink and noticed that a bolt was loose. "See if there are any loose screws or anything we can use." he whispered. "All we've got is a metal bed frame with a mattress, a metal toilet and a metal sink."

"So some of your security teams are against us too?" Clyco asked, "I'd say going anywhere in this place is dangerous at the moment... especially for just a casual meeting."

Clyco stood in salute,

"But if you insist I shalt obey."

And the soldier followed the scientists out of the bloody corridor.

Most of the team back near the cells are able to hear talking across the sub-levels, but none were close enough to even recognize the voices let alone see. Vic continued to wait and watch...

The two assassins reached the main door to the fusion room. The human tried the access panel, but it doesn't even blink. The door was hacked to prevent normal entrance. But no matter.

While the human pulled out her automatic handguns, the Cobra positioned himself across the door, and began to pull the door from its heavy iron hinges with all the muscles in his body...

The sudden sound of screeching metal reached the ears of Feral and Aiko, and the Panther had to halt on his job to grab his rifle. "Keep at the computer!" he hissed. "This place needs to go down..."

Ariol suddenly appears before Delta Squad. He had left the rest of his unit to the sub-levels. "I take it you found someone?"

Delta Leader nodded. "We captured several people who were in the process of destroying Dr. Rawlson's lab."

Dr. Bailey nodded and radioed Dr. Zanasiu. "Doc Z, the others are missing and are presumed to be captured, report to the control room immediately."

Dr. Zanasiu nodded and turned to his group. "So of our team members have been captured. We need to return to the control room as fast as possible."

Dr. Zanasiu and Zachary then made their way towards the stairs.

(OOC - I was thinking of Shelton and Kerzach causing some kind of serious disturbance like a fight or a flood, then subduing the guard and stealing the keys.)

Dr. Kerzach was busy removing loose bolts from the toilet and sink.

He slid the bolts behind the bed so that the guards wouldn't see them.

Alfred in the meantime was hurling profanities and threats at the two guards.

"I'm thinking a flood will do it," Shelton muttered, "though it sounds like you've already thought of that. If we can get the mattress soaked, it'll be a great thing to hit the guards with, since neither of us are strong enough to punch them out."

"You do realize that as a Cassowary, I have talons? Though, I don't think I can pierce their armor." Dr. Kerzach muttered. "But let's get a flood started."

He took the toilet paper and shoved as much as possible down the drain, making sure to clog the overflow drain as well. He then shoved the remainder of the toilet paper down the toilet. He turned on the faucets on the sink. Soon the sink began to overflow.

"Shelton the mattress!" He whispered. Dr. Kerzach then hastily grabbed the loose bolts and threw them in his lab coat.

Silently thanking Alfred for keeping the guards distracted, Shelton immersed the mattress in the pool of water slowly forming in the cell floor. When it was full, he lugged it back onto the bed with a grunt. "I certainly wouldn't want to get hit by this. We'll both need to swing it to get enough force, and even then we'll need to be fast to get their weapons before they recover."

Corporal Stern continued his escort. They had all been caught off-guard once... luckily, it was nothing dangerous... but they couldn't keep counting on such luck... had that been a group of enemies, they could ALL be KIA.

Dr. Kerzach drew a bolt from his pocket an hurled it at one of the guards.

The guard immediately turned around and headed over to Dr. Kerzach and Shelton.

"You got a lot of nerve you ugly bird!" he guard shouted.

"Well, I did that because there's a problem, the cell's flooded!"

The guard called the other guard over.

Dr. Kerzach stood by a corner of the bed and winked at Shelton.

"I'll call Delta leader," said the second guard, taking out his radio.

"What, you aren't smart enough to figure it out yourself?" retorted Shelton. "They obviously don't set the bar very high for getting into security corps."

The guard put the radio down. "You know what, that's the second time you've shown lip to me! I've had it!"

"Woah, let's calm down!" exclaimed the first guard. "I know how to fix--"

"Yeah, listen to your pal, John McClane," interrupted Shelton, "Cause I'd kick your ass if you entered this cell."

The second guard angrily unlocked the cell door, flung it open, and stomped in.

In a split second, Shelton realized the first guard was slightly smarter and wasn't going to follow. Oh well.

"Now! Heave!" he yelled, swinging his side of the mattress with all his might.

(OOC: Kerzach can grab the knocked out guard's weapon and kill/hold hostage the remaining guard.)

"Zachery! You mind telling me where it is I am escorting you to?" Corporal Stern queried. "If we keep wandering around like this, there's no telling what might happen to us."

"We're heading to the control room." Zachary replied as the group was climbing up the stairs.

Soon, they left the sublevel entrance and hastily made their way back to the control room.

"We're back." Dr. Zanasiu said.

"Good." Dr. Bailey said. He then activated the .50 caliber machine gun turrets.

"What happened?" Zachary asked.

"Most of our team has been captured. We'll need you to stay here in case the other troopers are looking for you." Dr. Bailey said.

Dr. Kerzach did the same with his end of the mattress.

The second guard had removed his can of pepper spray and brandished it. "I'm going to... Oh sh..." He was unable to finish his sentence before them sodden mattress landed on top of him.

The first guard, who remained outside the cell, pulled out his radio but Dr. Kerzach seized the can of pepper spray dropped by the second guard and pepper sprayed him.

While the guard was screaming in agony, Dr. Kerzach pushed him inside the cell. He quickly grabbed the keys inside the lock on the outside of the door.

"Shelton, I've got the keys!" Dr. Kerzach called.

Shelton grabbed both of the guard's radios, getting a slap to the face and a kick to the side for his effort. He stumbled out of the cell. "Lock 'em up!" he yelled. "They won't be contacting anybody soon!"

Dr. Kerzach quickly locked the cell door and hastily freed Alfred, Hans and Werner.

"You know, I think we're actually inside the Dragonstorm base." Dr. Kerzach said.

"I think we are too but we need to get out of here." Alfred said.

"Agreed." Hans said.

Werner peeked outside the hallway. It was empty. "We're clear!"

Dr. Kerzach, Alfred, Werner and Hans quickly darted down the hall.

As he approached the control room with the rest, Corporal Stern noticed the smell of ozone... as if there had been a firefight or an explosion not too far away. "Did anything happen here?"

Dr Joe looked to see that the experiment did speak. It must be his super sensitive ears. "You know who they are? Or what they said?"

The Fennec fox shifted positions to face her. "I don't know..."

"Don't worry. At least we're safe now."

The Cobra assassin continued to slowly open the bolted door to get inside. The human readies herself for when they enter...

"Live prisoners will be too much of a hassle with these do-gooders running around," Ariol replied. "You'll have to go back and kill them."
