Thats cool, and as the characters age, they will be faced with challenge, accepting thier chganging bodies.. trying to keep thier heads high in an oppressive world..

Well, I suppose it IS an oppressive world, but that is one of the things which makes it kind of fun to adventure in; there is little point in adventuring in a world of puppies and sunshine.

Just remember that past a certain age, the Dracons have no real taboos against pre-marital sex... at all. It isn't just a "relaxed attitude", it is essentially seen as totally natural with no guilt whatsoever, as long as there is no cheating involved. Of course, there is often a double-standard applied to the females in that a male can marry multiple females, but not the other way around.

I'm guessing though you're not going to have Selturma develop any sorts od feelings for Isla once she reaches 16.. I understand of course, just want to be clear from here on out.. so I don't make any mistakes in that regard..

I don't control Rex most of the time, so it is really Metadude's test. As it is, female Dracons are very promiscuous, even more so than the males.

So you could have Seturma start finding interest in other males, create tension between them.. its not all lovey--dover, making out and having sex, its struggle and hard work to keep thier relationship going..

Rex will probably be REALLY mad if he were to catch Selturma cheating on him; if she were to cheat on him even one time, he would destroy the egg she laid on the chance that it was not his... and the Dracon law would sanction that sort of behavior in that rare instance. Otherwise, harming an egg is taboo.

She would hate that fact, but would have no choice but to go along with it; cheating mates are treated harshly, especially if they are female. She would receive no sympathy from anyone, even her own family.

She would probably be driven out by her family.. and that might very well end the relationship between her and rEx.. and i don't think she'd have much chance outside with that stain on her..

Rex would forgive her one time if he smashed her egg that might not be his... at least, that is how most Dracon males would do it. She cheats twice, he divorces her and there is no longer any connection between them at all unless they ever decide to get back together.

It will not be easy for Selturma to walk that path... which is my concern, seeing as how she is one of my characters.

I might bring in a character to take her in.. I could have one of Isla's brother offer to marry her.. Nobles don't really care about past transgressions as long as the females are fecund and able to have children..
