The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Potential RPG Idea

Chiletrek, was that you who posted last? Wasn't there a HUGE power outage that struck 90% of Chile?

Maybe you are in the lucky 10%.  :)

Hello:
The failure happened to a generator in a big section of the Central interconnected system (I guess that would be the english translation for "Sistema Interconectado Central") which is the hub of electrical power for most of the country and the service returned to almost normal status after 1am local time.
As for the place I live, my city depends on the Northern interconnected system that mainly operates near the city Tocopilla, very close to the bigger city of Antofagasta.
So yes, I am of the luck 10% (even though I thought it was a bit lesser percentage that was affected by the problem due to many bigger cities that were unaffected, mainly those in the northern regions).

You can remember it later. Now that the battle is over, there will be a lot of downtime before the next one. I won't say much, but... the next major battle will:

- Be in another Dracon city, a coastal city even larger than Minbenthac!

- It will involve the three dragons who attacked in this battle.

- There will be many times the number of soldiers, trying to destroy the largest city in the Dracon lands.

- Everyone's characters are invited to be there in some capacity.

- And Dememoras will personally fight. No, it is not the final battle, but it will be an even more important one than the one which just ended.

Until then, character development time!  :lol

There might be a party to celebrate the "victory", but it will be a small, short, and rather tense one. More like a very lame party. Considering that the war has only begun, there isn't much time to celebrate.

Hello:
So maybe just a little bit of rest so the character can rgain their strenght? well, it may not be a bit or a happy party, but at least it is something.

That's a good idea. We should also have the characters catch up on recent events, to make sure that all of them know what is going on. A lot has happened recently.

So far, I have Rhiga drawn, and a single, old shot of Adykon's head. Since I am the one who made the race, I determine what Dracons look like. If Rex doesn't look like a male version of this one...

...then it is not accurate. Obviously, you can choose the eye color, skin color, clothing, etc.

I have a printer and access to a scanner at home (I never use it, though), but all my work is done digitally, using a tablet. Since I only started a little while ago (a couple of months), I have yet to get Photoshop. Still, Paint.net is capable of pulling off anything that I have seen done on this forum, given the right skills.

I have GIMP. So far, I haven't needed to use anything on it that Paint.net cannot also give me.

Plus, Paint.net is easier to use. I could use GIMP, sure. I've had it almost since I got this computer.

You should edit it anyway. It is a very bad reason for losing an arm.
