For a long, long time... as long as I can keep the players interested, and as long as the GoF will allow a thread to go on for... and if there has to be a break in the thread, I can always make a sequel or a "part 2."

There isn't a clear break between one part and another... it probably makes more sense to keep it in one part... unless there is a limit to how many pages a thread can have.

there isn't. we've had games go for thousands of pages..But I don't think having a roleplay go 1000 pages is necessarily a good thing..

If it is the same number of pages anyway, I don't see why it would make a huge difference... all it would do is to have two threads hold what one could contain.

well, I do think we should have a goal.. say the roleplay goes for 500 pages and comcluded. We ca tie up looose ends in the sequel..

... I am nowhere near done with the storyline... I haven't even revealed the villain, nor have things even gotten dramatic yet... not really. All of what you have seen so far is setup...this is no exaggeration.

so you have been setting things up that long? usually it doesn't take this long for things to be set up, even in a lengthy book.. But I'll rp with you as long as the story progresses.. I may have a couple more love scenes betwen Ilsa and Minna in the coming pages, when they are not struggling against the 'evil"..

Originally, the idea was for the story to have ended at the end of the "lost city" arc... but it became popular enough for me to add more... think of it more like a series of books, not just a single lengthy book... we'd be up to book 2 by now...

Well, I didn't make it to have strong breaks... it is still all one story... kind of like the lord of the rings is one whole story... and technically that big epic has six books, with two books per section... I thought that it was important to show that the characters have lives outside of the adventures... Jake goes to school, Marcus and Rhiga were to marry, social issues, etc.

And that is good.. It gives the characters more color and depth.. in the coming pages I may explain Why Minna and Ilsa feel the way they do..

About that... I don't want this RP to become a magnet for that sort of thing... Minna and Isla are like that, and I had to talk StarfallRaptor out of making another one thing of that kind... although my parts, metadude's parts, and Chiletrek's parts don't have an issue with that... I don't want this to turn into something it wasn't meant to be by any of the original players...

Understood.. I won't make that into an issue, the vast majority of my characters will be straight.. I will make it so it feeds into the story, yet doesn't distract from the original story..

Right. That's okay. I'm no homophobe or anything... but I don't want it to look like I am promoting that sort of behavior or making this into something inappropriate... Thanks for limiting it.

And, if the characters take it too far, we can always burn them! heh (joke)
