Hello, hello. I was asked to post my character here... so here you go:
Name: Eternion
Race: Dracon
Age: Not sure about a number yet, but he is very old.
Appearance: Eternion is colored a charcoal gray, with stripes of black running along his back and down his tail. His scales are dull and cracked with age, and many are missing or scarred. His horns are long, but twisted and bent with neglect and age. His left eye is almost completely blind, stained a milky white.
He walks and acts like you would expect an old man to, but is still quite agile and capable... he doesn't use a walking stick or anything like that.
Background: Eternion was born to a poor family, and thus his early life was a challenging one. He manage to educate himself through old books that told stories of adventurers and great warriors.
He wanted to become a fighter, make a life of his own. He received that chance when he met and saved the life of a young Dracon female named Almia.
She lived a rich life, but longed for more... and she saw this opportunity in this Dracon.
Inevitably, they left their homeland... seeking excitement and adventure. Their bond was one of friendship, not of love.
And so the years passed. The two did their duty, helping others, fighting evils of the land... and passing the years with thrills and excitement (and not to mention many close calls). Decades after they had set off, they returned home and settled down. The question turned to their future, and the possibility of hatchlings.
But it was not to be, Almia fell strangely ill, and died soon after... leaving Eternion stricken with grief and alone. Though the years had not done him well, he was still a great and capable warrior... and so he set off once more. Sadly, it was not the same without his companion of so many years, and so he fled his past as a warrior and settled into the city of Hekaga. The two Dracons had made use of temples many times in the past, and he decided it was time to pay them back as best he could.
He had spent most of his earnings, so he applied for a job as a caretaker.
And thus the years passed once more. Old memories of fame, glory and adventure faded away with each day until his life became more or less a routine.
