Adykon was beating Rhiga in poker as well, but, like all games, this one came to an end. Adykon did not have the time to keep playing it forever. He still needed to make plans to find that statue.

Adykon met with the adults of the party to discuss plans to find the statue.

"Alright, people. We've been searching for this artifacts in the lost city for many days, and we have still come up empty handed. What do you propose we do about it?" he said.

"We know that this artifact is magical" Rhiga said "So it makes sense that we should only search in areas that Kravik and Sivar can detect magic in."

"Good idea." was Adykon's reply. "That should decrease our search time dramatically."

Adykon finalized the plans.

"Alright everybody, listen up! Kravik and Sivar here are going to try and detect any powerful magics coming from this temple. If they find anything, which they almost certainly will, we will check out those parts. This temple complex is gigantic and dangerous, so don't wander too far from the camp that we have made here, okay?"

"Alright" Vaeri said "We should find something to occupy ourselves in the meantime..."

"Do you know how to detect a magical field from a great distance, Isla?" Adykon said. "We need to find a source of magic which, for all we know, might be buried under tons of rubble, or be sealed in a metal chamber. If your magic is strong enough to get through obstacles like that, then by all means come and join us in our attempts to finally find this thing."

Isla closed her eyes and focused. "Powerful magic hides the artifact.." She said opening her eyes after a few minutes. "I saw a row of lights, but only one will lead to the artifact.. our journey is far from over..

"Did you see where these lights were?" Adykon said. "Can you tell me about their color? Their brightness? What did the lanterns or torches or whatever the lights were being held in look like?"

They were in a narrow hall. there were several of the m, coloredred, blue green, and other colors besides.. they culminated what appeared to be cups od some sort..onlt one will lead to the true artifact.. if we choose the wrong one. it will be fatal to all of us.. and it will be swift.' Isla replied..

"And you say you don't know which ones are the correct lights?" Adykon asked, feeling apprehensive about the possibility of death for himself and the party. "Well, Kravik can summon creatures, to my knowledge, and so can Sivar. If we had to send them down all of the paths and see what happens to each of them, so be it. If there is another way, a better way, please tell me as soon as you think of it."

Adykon had no desire to send any living being to certain doom, but if he had too, he would no hesitate to send summon creatures down those paths.
