Adykon spoke to Akito "You are welcome, although I must admit that it is odd to see one of your kind here. You may stay with us as long as you can hold your own in a fight, and since you did a good job fighting off those rogues, I can see that you are a decent fighter. I'll make sure that no one treats you badly."

"Yes, some folks are so close minded for one thing." Sivar said.

"And some cultures are very different. Not to mention that there are many cultures around, and we are in a desert and some find it hard to live in deserts." Kravik said.

"My skin is soft too, especially my belly." said Rhiga, while rubbing her soft belly scales for emphasis. "I've never understood why you males are content with such leathery hides as you have, or why you cover so much of it with clothing."

Kravik shrugs, "As for why I wear this," He said as he waved his hand over his clothes, "it is cause if I were to try to put pockets in my skin it would likely hurt, or I'd have to remember to renew the spell or enchant myself and I'd rather not have flesh pockets, even via an enchantment. As for why I'm content to have hard skin it is handy if one gets into a fight. If you don't like males with hard skin you can go to those who made our species and ask them to make some males with soft skins. I'm sure some of the original creators are alive or those who know how are. At worst you can go to one of the planes and ask the dragon gods. If you want to do that I suggest you only go to the neutral and good dragon gods home planes." Kravik said in a matter of fact voice, not to unlike the tv Spock.

Kravik nods, "I'd forgotten about strength. It does come in handy."

"I don't think I'd want a hard skin or large muscles. I think those fit better on males & the roles they were created for." Sivar said nodding to what she said.

Akito raised an eyebrow.
"Honestly, I don't see the need for such strength. To us Fauxen, the more important trait is speed. And to that point, quite a few females in our society hold quite a bit of power. And you must forgive me for my...pessimistic viewpoint, but...that happens when one wanders alone for so long."
He then looked over at Sivar.
"You're probably right. Most Fauxen don't hold outsiders in high esteem, either."
Then, he turned to Adykon.
"Thank you for that, Adykon. I'm grateful"
He said, nodding his head...

"Think nothing of it" said Adkyon to Akito. "You will be getting your own cottage because you might not feel comfortable around Dracons sharing the same hut. We come from different cultures with different norms."

"It's fine. I don't want to be a burden to you all. I don't have any objections to sharing a hut with anyone. Really."
He said, casting a shy glance over at Sivar...

Akito held up both hands, smirking.
"Oh, I'm quite aware of that fact. I've been around Dracons for a fair amount of time now, and as I said, I have no objection. I'd recommend placing the resources needed for an extra cottage for me into something that the entire group will benefit from."
He said, a faint light in his eyes...
