"Who here is good at sneaking into places?" Adykon said. "We might be able to send in some of you if you can sneak in and out, when, once you have freed the captives, send a signal from the inside and we will launch a diversionary attack so that you can escape."

"Are you sure about that?" - Arianne asked her husband with concern.

"Yes I am. They made a horrible thing, and I think it is time for some payback." - Eriol gave an evil grin. - "Don't worry, I and whoever join me will be fine."

Vaeri was good at sneaking, but since she is a noncombatant, Selturma went in her place.

So, it was Eriol, Selturma, and Akito who were set to sneak into the fort to rescue the captives... others who were good at sneaking could join them, but now, they had enough to go in, if they were careful...

The party was very large indeed... Adykon, Isla, Jake, Sasha, Rex, Minna, Akito, Eriol, Arianne, Selturma, Marcus, Vaeri, Vespion, and though missing in action... Rhiga. The party had once had Kravik and Sivar, but the mage and priestess had left at the end of the quest in the lost city...

Eriol, Akito, and Selturma would go into the fortress to free the captives while the rest of the party would wait outside for a signal... which would be their cue to launch a diversionary attack on the gates... exactly what that sign would be... was a matter of improvisation when it happened...

No one noticed that Akito, Selturma, and Eriol were sneaking into the fortification...

Meanwhile...

Rhiga still hung from the wall... the prince of Hekaga had seen her. He had wanted to kill her, but was restrained from doing so at the last minute by the guards. The last she had seen of him, he was leaving the room... that was before she passed out.

Now, she had regained consciousness... but was not happy to see who had joined her...

A red dragon was placed next to her... it was unconscious... having been battered into submission... like her, there were tendrils placed into it... it's energy was also being stolen from it...
