The guards shut the door, and with it, the light went out of the room... after about 30 minutes in the pitch black darkness, the dragoness used her flame to make a bit of light, then, using a spell, she was able to trap the flame in a small bubble...

"They took you too, I see" the dragoness said to Rhiga.

Rhiga knew that dragons could speak; it was well known in the Dracon lands. "Yes, they did. I crossed one of the members of their... cult... or whatever it is..." she responded.

"They were hunting me for over 10 years" the dragoness said. She knew exactly why they would want her, but she wasn't willing to tell anyone who didn't need to know...

Back at the party...

The many adventurers had fallen asleep. The questions asked to the freed captives had largely gone unanswered. These were issues to be dealt with in the morning... but not everyone slept well that night...

Vespion's magic was unable to support many sleeping accommodations for so many... the magic behind the spell did not create the tents out of thin air, it merely summoned them from a location were they were already placed... the exact process of this was long and complex... but it was something made by a very powerful mage, who had once created his own dimension, and filled it with the building blocks of useful solid matter... mostly carbon... from there, mages could summon it, and using the spell, shape it into whatever form they needed, as long as it was predominately made from matter which could be summoned from that dimension. Of course, when the spell expired, the summoned items reverted back to their basic form as they returned to their dimension...

No one noticed the two females in the middle of the night... no one else was awake at the moment...

Even Rhiga was asleep... wherever she was. Her conversation with the dragon was cut short by the dragon's passing out...

Minna and ilsa sat down on in front of thier tent. Minna gestured and sent forth a fireball inti the ground. soon they had a magical fire blazing merrily. lIlsa surrounded it with rocks she found lying on the ground. "So.. lets chat.." Ilsa said. "How is your family doing?'

He keeps its location a secret, because of its isolation, it could easily be captured and he would not learn of its for a long time afterwards. Akito said, returning to his tent, where Ruka lay, sleeping. He lay down on his side of the tent, but a moment later, Ruka had found him and snuggled against him. He sighed quietly, then shut his eyes and fell asleep...

Marcus slept in his tent/ omce again he dreamed of Rhiga, as he had every night of this long quest. Oh! how he longed to hold her in her armsm, to sleep with her in his bed..

The region they were in was far beyond the maps of the civilized areas... any mines that would have been owned by any Dracon from any of the cities would be at least 1000 kilometers away. Still, there were a number of mines in the area that was southwest of the southernmost Dracon city... and there were some mines that were not owned by the civilized Dracons at all...

The next morning...

The party awoke from their modest quarters... the party was very large... and the ones who had kidnapped Rhiga knew it. Anything they had which could interfere with scrying was too weak to stop their adversaries from looking in on them anyway... especially in this valley...

The valley was covered by a magical field which emanated from a tower located on its far end... this was where Rhiga was being held...
