Asthia went downstairs to see a small female Dracon and a red dragon hatchling... the female was wearing only a loincloth as well... and she was whining about something...

"Gerasia, what is the problem?" Asthis said to the girl...

"Toby was mean to me, mommy" she said, indicating the young dragon, who could speak.

"He knocked over my blocks, and it too me forever to make them into a tower." she continued.

The young dragon male spoke "It was an accident. My tail-!"

"Toby. Say sorry to Gerasia. Now... mommy is very busy, so, be an good girl, alright?"

"Yes, Asthia." Gerasia said. She knew that the vampiress wasn't her real mother...

Mweanwhile, Ilsa and Minna had stopped for the right. they were cllose to the tree.but Minna's whining had finallt pushed Ilsa past her limites. " Fine we'll stop! she said fiercely.. "We'll getting close anyway, it should only be a short journey to the tree tommorow.. now help me create a tent for the night. vesopion isn't here to make one, and without our staffs it will require our combined strength to create one..'

Meanwhile...

Asthia returned to her room, and locked the door behind her, as before. Adykon was still lying on the bed, waiting for her...

The two of them had mated enough. Now they just lay in each others arms, cuddled in bed... it was easy to forget that Asthia was not exactly among the living...

"not for long" mocked Rex as he tried to knock Jake over by pushing on his own sword.

Asthia was a vampiress, but even she needed to sleep sometimes. As soon as she was finished "playing" with Adykon, she fell into a long rest... After about two hours, Adykon, who was watching her in the bed, moved over to her to see if she was truly sleeping, just pretending to be dormant.

After running his hands over her skin, and giving her a little back scratch, he was confident that she was asleep. While he had enjoyed his romp with her, it was now time to escape...

He went through her drawers and closets, hoping to find a way to unlock the door... and his clothes...

Shifting through her drawers, he found some perfume...

He found some jewelry too...

And in her closets... he found some interesting items...

Looking on, Adykon found a note from one of her subordinates...

Our plans for awakening the Doom Horror are going according to plan. The Dark Master will greatly appreciate having such a powerful being on his side. We still need a few more months to gather the requisite energy to release the creature, and the ceremonies still need to be completed after that, but all goes according to plan.

Ilsa and Minna joined claws and focused. after awhile a small hut appeare in front of them. ilsa broke away froom minna and entered the hut. two small beds lay inside, one to the right, the other t the left. 'i'll take the left bed' Ilsa said as mInna entered. 'good night minna' Ilsa said giving her a hug. Minna smiled. 'good night Ilsa, sleep well' She said, hugging her friend back. ilsa broke away, and moved over to the left bed. both of them were small, but comfortable.. they had tried for something to remind them of home..

Disgusted by the skull, Adykon put it back... only to discover several more of them...

What was going on here? These were human skulls... upon looking deeper into her closet, these were the skulls of adventurers who had tried to stop Asthia, and failed. Despite her "playful nature" with him, Adykon realized what kind of a threat Asthia really was...

Suddenly, a portal appeared behind Adykon, and Akio stepped out of it.
"She's not evil, you know. She didn't have a choice but to do that to them. They attacked her first, not the other way around. Perhaps, she could even be brought over to your side. She has very strong feelings for you. Maybe that way, you can get her to help you, instead of...him. Our master."
He said, calmly staring at Adykon...

Meanwhile, Kuja walked into the room where Asthia's "children" were playing. He walked over to Gerasia, and smiled at her. He was a familiar face to the two, having served the Master as long as he had. And despite his supposed evil, he always managed to find time to come play with the two.
"Hello, Lady Gerasia."
He said, gently kissing her hand in the fashion of a knight from the old stories...

(OOC: Asthia is indeed evil... recall how she got that "daughter"... it is easy to figure out... she was also never attacked, so I'll have to say that Akio is lying.)

Adykon looked behind him, but Akio was gone! Was he even there to begin with? Was it an illusion, or did he just go back into the portal? How could he have gotten into Asthia's tower?

In either case, Adykon did not forget Akio's words...

Downstairs, Gerasia, the "child" Asthia, spoke to Kuja.

"Hello there. I don't suppose you would like to join Toby and me?" the two of them were playing with a little ball, rolling it back and forth.

"Toby" was the name of the young red dragon who was Gerasia's playmate. "Toby" was not a "child" of Asthia's, but was taken when Toby's mother was captured by Asthia's forces. Wanting to find a permanent playmate for Gerasia, Asthia "gave" Toby to her... initially as a pet, but the two of them were almost like brother and sister... or just very good friends... they knew who their real parents were... or at least Gerasia did. Toby's father was a red dragon, and that breed of dragon often doesn't stay mated for any longer than necessary to impregnate the female, as was the case for Toby's mother...

Gerasia was a vampiress, having been bitten by Asthia as "a mother's first kiss" but Toby was still alive and well. Asthia and the servants treated the young dragon like he was a dog, and would have been considered negligent even for that. Asthia's desire for a child was common among females... and since vampires cannot multiply, Asthia had to procure a child by other means... and in her mind, the ends justify the means... <_<

Vespion asked the chief about his missing child. "Gerasia was a good girl... my only daughter. Her mother and I had several sons, so having a young female was a new experience indeed. We had her... but Asthia wanted her. So, the vampiress took Gerasia, plain and simple" The chief's hand tightened around his spear as he said this.

"We will get her back..."

Once Jake was up and standing he and Rex decided to go exploring around the tribal settlement. Most of the Dracons would stare at Jake as if he were an alien. But when they did Jake glared at them as if trying to say leave me alone or else...

Adykon continued to sift through Asthia's possessions, and eventually found a key... it looked as if it was magical...

He tried to use it on the door, only to discover that there was no real lock... he had examined it once before, hoping to find a way to open it, but neither time produced so much as a place to put the key.

Adykon did, however, find an indentation in the door... maybe something from the room fit in it...

minna and ilsa woke early in the morning and soon resumed the qyureest. as they approached a sweet smell began to reach them. minna moaned, she was getting hhungry. ' whats that smell is, i'm geting whatever its coming gfrom and eating it"Minna said hungrily and began running in front, heading towards a gigantic old tree..this had blue flowers all around it.. and large mounds of a yellow substance, which minna was gorging on. 'minna! you have no idea what that is!"

The tribe was filled with straw huts and crude stick-and-mud structures. At the center, there was a circle outlined by scratchings in the dirt... this was the village arena. There were also several totems in the village, clearly dedicated to whatever spirits these primitive Dracons worshiped.

This one was the largest of them by far. None of the others were even a fifth as tall...
