Gerasia was sitting on the ground, cross-legged. She passed the ball to Kuja.

"Mommy says that something really scary is going to happen soon, but she can't tell me what it is. She says that if I see any Dracon that I've never seen before, I should scream as loud as I can and run to a safe place, and she'll come and make things all better... But you'd never let anything bad happen, would you, Kuja?"

Jake and Rex decided to go back to the main camp where Sasha was. It took Jake and Rex 15 minutes to get there. "hi Jake" said Sasha "where have you been?".

"around" responded Jake "this camp is really big!"

The village had the warriors of several tribes camped out there... it was more than just a camp... it was a whole settlement... and it was full of Dracons who were ready to fight!

Or were they? The most advanced weapons there were no more than spears and stone knives, and flint-tipped arrows... hardly a force capable of beating an army of metal-equipped soldiers...

Ilsa started cLimbing, and mInna soon followed. The Nectar she had eaten was not as potent as the elixir asthia and adykon had drank, but the sheer amount she had eaten was starting to have an effect, as they climbed "Are my breasts too small? Minna suddenly said. Ilsa started and nearly fell. " Minna! Nows not the time for that! we're nearly 200 feet off the ground! I can't be distracted!" But they are! Minna complained LooK at them!"

Ilsa.." Her eyes held a strange glow, something was wrong wit h her.. 'i never relized how attractive you are. ilsa began grinding her teeth. ' you are not helping minna!" Minna began Climbing faster until she climbed even with Ilsa, and gave her a look, with was a mxture of vaccuum and intense longing.. "Stop being such a sourpuss.. remember that night when I gave you that backrub?"
_ Ilsa shot her a look that would curdle milk. "You need to stop this or I'll put ob a spell on your mouth. "theres another way you can do ..'Minna began before Ilsa slapped her. " Don't EVEN go there.. That stuff you ate is messing with your mind! I would be surprised if its poisonous.. you stay there.. i'll come to the top and clmbinside to the heartwood."

The "heart of the world" was hundreds of feet tall. Had Minna and Isla been human, climbing it would have been very, very hard. Fortunately, the bark was soft enough for their claws to get a hold of it... and the lowest branches were only about 150 feet up...

Rhiga noticed that the female red dragon was waking up...

Jake decided to sit next to Sasha on the log while Rex continued exploring the settlement. "been a long adventure, heh" said Jake to Sasha.

Vespion spoke to the group. "Alright everyone, listen up! As soon as Minna and Isla are back and get their new staffs, we are going to attack Asthia's tower and get Adykon and Rhiga back. The shaman has informed me that there is a massive upsurge of power collecting at her tower..."

This was no coincidence. The party's arrival here was planned, not a lucky scenario. There was a major evil power under Asthia's tower, and its release would bring nothing but death and darkness to the land... Adykon knew this from what he had found out in Asthia's room... and it already well-known that the dark master had plans to bring as many evil entities under his power as he could..

For indeed, even now, the master watched the events here. If he had to intervene, he would, but he also knew that it was not the time to reveal himself... so any appearance he might make would be an avatar; a being controlled by him which could be sent out as a part, a fraction, of his essence... not nearly his full power, but a manifestation of him...

Jake got up off of the log and so did Sasha, They both began walking around the camp....Sasha still hadn't explored it yet. "so how big is this camp?" asked Sasha...Jake paused for a moment and looked at Sasha "very....". sasha sighed and they continued to walk around the dracon encampment.

Kuja smiled, the light of a plan forming in his eyes.
"Well, Toby. You've certainly become a fine young lad since I was here last. Maybe there's a chance you two can get away from here. There are a group of Tribal Dracons outside the tower, led by none other than your parents, Lady Gerasia. Maybe, during the chaos, you two can get out, and go to them."
He said softly...

(OOC: This is a surprise attack! I'm going to have to disregard certain parts of that last post unless you edit it. Really, Starfall, if Asthia's subordinate knew about it, he would have told her, and if Kuja were NOT a subordinate, Asthia would probably kill him for trespassing in the tower!)

Asthia lay on her bed, oblivious to the world around her. Adykon tried to escape, but found that the door's indentation accepted a key or an item that the room either did not have, or he couldn't figure out what it was. Asthia herself had probably cast a spell on that door, and the only way for it to drop was for Asthia to dispel it herself, or to destroy her and hope that her death would cause the enchantment to fall...

Minna continued climbing after Ilsa, her mouth stung from wwhere Ilsa had slapped her. "You can deny it all you want ilsa.. but theres an attraction between us.." One, that will get us both killed and our memories dishonored, We've been over this!Ilsa said as she reached the first branches, up at the top was a large hole which lkead inside the tree. "Minna, that stuff you ate is reallty starting to affect you, and you're starting to tick me off.. Minna had a smile on her face as she reached the limb, a look of mischeviousness. "Come on Ilsa you need to lighten up.." I wil if you stop acting.. so so weird.. Ilsa said as she contuninued climbing up to the next branch. But the argument continued as both girls reached the hole in the tree which led to the heartwood inside. Ilsa climbed in first, then helped Minna up. as she did. Minna wrapped her arms around and forcibly french kissed her. the kiss took Ilsa by surprise amd minna Pinned her against the insides of the tree. this lasted for a few seconds, then ilsa broke the kiss and threw minna to the grounds, just inside the tree hole. " Thats IT! Ilsa yelled and blasted Minna with magic. throwing her back into the tree. "You've gone too farMinna!" Minna got up with a n angry look on her face. "Oh I've only just began she said, firing magic back at Minna. 'It was just a kiss! What harm can that do?' Ilsa ducked the magic blast. "PLenty! you know our laws mInna.."

Ilsa rann up and tAckled her, and two girls fekll headlong deep side the tree, they hit a thick wooden floor, with ilsa on top of minna, the impact tthrew ilsa off and away from minna, who lay there stunned for a monent.. ilsa slowly got to her feet and looked around, they were in a deep holow inside the tree, there was a strong feeling of magic here, powerful magic.. 'I.. think We've found it.." Ilsa said as Minna got up, still angry..

Adykon looked through Asthia's room some more, and found a rather large dagger, a Sai, in fact.

He took the blade, but immediately thought twice about it. He had to escape, and Asthia was clearly evil... she worked for the dark master, she was a wicked vampire, she had captured him in combat, she ruled over this valley as a despot, and she had tried to kill the rest of his party...

And yet... he could not bear to kill her... the problem was, he still held the blade in his hand, and was looking right over her... and her eyes began to open...

Ilsa gestured and pinneed the charging Minna against the wall. "I'm not going to let you go, until you aagree to calm down' Ilsa said, with a note of impatiebnnce. "so you don't care about me then? Minna said in a small voice. 'i kissed you because i wanted to show my affection for you.' the effects on the potion were starting to wear off . "pLease let me go.." Ilsa considered then released her. "Lets just get this wood back to the shaman so he can make our staffs.."

Ilsa ignored her and tore off a piece fior herself. ' we can't.. if we get caught we're dead. lets head out..

Back at the village...

The shaman was waiting at his hut... about a day or so had passed when the girls returned. He led them inside his hut, and, to their surprise, he removed some straw from the floor to reveal a trapdoor, which he opened, and led them all down a wooden ladder...

...To a stone room! Clearly, this place was more elaborate and developed than he had let on. In the middle of the room there was a pentagram. He told each female to place her piece of wood in the center of it, and to each stand on the opposite sides of the shape.

Each piece of wood was rather bland, and hardly fit to be a tool for a mage...

... but that was about to change.

The shaman cast a spell on the pieces of wood, shaping them into staffs, and unlocking their magic within, as well as placing further enchantments on them.

"Now girls, you can further enhance these staffs by casting spells on them. You will be able to cast that spell again using the staff with much less magic..."

Each staff looked lightly different, due to the different pieces of wood which each girl took.

Isla' staff looked only slightly different, but still glowed with the power of magic.

Minna's staff was more showy, and would be more easily identified as an enchanted item, but her staff was still somewhat inferior to Isla's, although both staffs were better than the ones they originally had.

The shaman could smell the girls... each one had the scent of the other one her... as if they had been in close proximity to each other... as if the were fighting... or something else...

Well, he had no reason to believe anything bad about the girls, but... no. It couldn't be... then again... his wives never smelled of each other, and they all lived in the same hut...

Hmm...

No... it was nothing.

Ilsa and Minna returned to the othes. " We got new staffs" Ilsa said, with a smile..showing her new staff..with a florish.. Minna alsso showed hers, but with less enthusiasm. she and Ilsa had not spoken much since leaving the tree.

The party was now ready to attack Asthia's tower... the warriors of the various tribes had assembled, and were all ready to go...

However, all was not well at the tower...

Asthia opened her eyes and found a rather naked Adykon clutching a rather sharp knife...

"You! How dare you! I let you into my bed, and into myself, and you think to stab me in my sleep?!" she raged.

"No! It wasn't that! I was just trying to pick the lock on the door with the tip of the blade! I was trying to escape!" Adykon responded.

"And you couldn't help but take one last look at my large tiotleglas, is that it?!" Asthia shouted. "Fine, you want to get out of my room, so your wish will be granted." And with that, Adykon was teleported to another room by one of Asthia's spells...

He was chained to a post... but not in the same room with Rhiga...within a few minutes, Asthia was down there, dressed in her top and loincloth... with not one, but both of her... supplies...

She truly was a sick, twisted Vampire...

"Now Adykon, we can either answer questions the easy way, or the hard way..." she whispered to him...
