"Alright. I'll go. As long as I can see Rhiga." Plythia told Marcus. "I've been living with aunt Trina for all this time... but she's hardly ever here. She just returns to leave food and sleep. She's out most of the day, trying to make eggs. Mom and I know she can't, not after that accident with the really big egg she laid once. She nearly bled to death, and when they managed to use magic to heal her, she nearly died from the infection afterwards. They said that without even more expensive magic, she'd never lay an egg again."

"And she sought to prove them wrong?" Rhiga queried. She didn't know much about this aunt, as she had only heard her mother mention Trina a few times.

"Yes. She's even wilder than mother ever was... but not a single egg. I think something else broke in her when she was hurt real bad..."

The three Dracons left the tenement. Trina would not care that she had gone, Plythia assured Rhiga. Really, it was tragic, but true...

Walking back out into the streets, Rhiga look one look at an approaching group of dracons who were dressed in iron armor and wielding short swords. The guards! She leapt back into the tenement. They didn't see her...

"Is it safe to pass?" She asked Marcus, her voice a whisper.

minna and Ilsa in the meantime had gone ahead to do some shopping.. they had reached a wealthier part of the city..thier long journey had done a number on thier clothes, luckily.. hekaga offerered good clothes, at high prices.. true, but both of them could afford to pay.. minna smiled as she bought a beautfiul clothing set. the bra was a skyblue color and made of fine fabrics. some guards passing by gave them searching glances, but the weight and color of the coins revealed that they were wealthy, so they let them pass. ilsa loaded up on fresh clothes as well, and cleaning supplies.. ilsa also bought a fresh suit of clothes for rhiga and plythia.
- Marcus screened Rhiga away from the guards, and waited until they passed.. "They're gone..' he said finally..

Rhiga emerged from hiding. "Thank the gods. If they catch me... I'm dead." She had been held captive once before not long ago... the thought of being taken again was too much for her to bear. In any case, she was to be executed if captured for stealing from the prince...

"Don't be so hard on him" Rhiga said to Vespion. "It must have been hard enough for him as it was."

Minna and Ilsa finished their shopping, which included buying food for thier group, which included bread, fresh fruit, and meats.. with this accomplished, they made their way back to the rest of the group..

Upon seeing the food, the party was happy. Selturma was ecstatic. She bounced up and down for the first time since Vaeri had died.

"Yay! Real food! I can smell that it is fresh all the way from here!" she shouted.

"Thank you, girls!" Adykon exclaimed. "Where did you get this?"

We went up to a market in another part of town.. We also got fresh clothes for you..' Minna said indicating a bag filled with clothes.. "When was the last time you got new clothes Plythia?" She asked, pulling out a blood red top and loincloth abd handing to her. this loincloth and top were made of silk, which was expensive and soft..

Plythia thanked the nobles girls profusely and tried on the new clothes.

"Wow, these fit wonderfully! How did you know my size?" Plythia asked.

"Probably a lucky guess" Rhiga replied. "Thank you VERY much, Minna, Isla. Now, let's go before we have another close encounter with the guards..."

"There was a patrol here not too long ago" Adykon quickly told the noble females.

Oh..' Minna said, handing Rhiga a bag of groceries, "use this to cover your face should a patrol pass by again..." "we need to get moving" she said to the others.. Are there any other siblings of yours nearby? She asked Plythia

"Groceries won't save me..." Rhiga said. "But thank you for the food. If the guards come, finding cover is the best option. I know from experience. Now, another relative of mine is not too far from here, if memory serves. Another half-sister... an older one this time. "

"I'll be fine as long as we avoid the guards. Now let's just go. The sooner we get this done, the sooner we shall leave." Rhiga told the group.

And they were off, walking through the streets again... heading ever deeper into the worst parts of the city. Ironically, a good part was just past a wall not too far away, but where Minna and Isla had trod, the rest of the party could not follow... only the rich were allowed in the wealthier sections of Hekaga.
