"The village elder gave me some money to help me out to get here" Violet told him before answering his other question "Well, I suppose I would try and attack them, especially if they were like that bear that stole my fish, but spells, well, I don't really know, cause it seems to just happen randomly, have not learned how to control it at the moment"

"I understand. You would be considered a sorceress then, if you were born with those powers. I've seen it before, a female being unable to control her powers. Sorceresses use magic based on their emotions, and are never really in control of their magic. They need to use emotions to power their spells, and not thought or will. I understand your problem." Adykon replied. "If you need to earn a bit more, there are places which pay dancers. Still, the king of Minbenthac is covering the expenses of this adventuring party. I'm sure he'll cover your costs too."

Violet got a bit curious when he mentioned the dancers "Really? What kind of dancers are there?" she did want to know about that at least, almost completely forgetting what Adykon had told her about the sorceresses.

"Dracon inns and taverns are known for having dancers as entertainment, usually the topless or unclothed kind. I don't know how well you would think of that." Adykon started to explain. "Two members of the party, Rhiga and her late mother Vaeri were both dancers." He cringed at the mention of his lost beloved. Vaeri...

"Anyway, there's no need for you to do that if you are with us. The king of Minbenthac is covering all of our expenses. You, me, Vespion, Eternion, Eriol, Arianne, the Fauxen, Rex, Sasha, Selturma, Marcus, Annette, Rhiga, Minna, and Ilsa are all covered for whatever it is we need to buy." Adykon hoped that he hadn't forgotten anyone. Jake was not included in his account because the boy was still... wherever he was.

"Oh, well, I haven't done that before" Violet told Adykon "Well, dancing topless anyway, well, not in front of anyone anyway" she added on with a little blush as well. However, once he mentioned the party members to her, she just looked at him, a confused look upon her face "Um, wait....what?"

If she was given the chance to dance topless in front of people at an inn, she might take that chance up herself, well, to at least try it out, cause to her, it was sounding rather intruiging, but then of course, you would have all the bar partons howling and whistling and what not at her assets, which is what would be putting her off from it as well.

"There's no need to do that. Everything you need is provided for you if you are with us." Adykon replied. He thought that she and the party were somehow meant to be as one, that it was somehow ordained. Nothing was a coincidence to him anymore; too much had happened for that. "Are you feeling okay, though, Violet. You aren't feeling sick or sore? I need to make sure that you are alright before putting you through the sheer... experience that this party will have to undertake."

"I could not for the life of me send someone who in anything but the best physical shape out to do what we are doing next. This is war. I don't know if you've heard or not, but the Dark Master Dememoras has returned. I don't know all there is to know about him, only that he is very powerful, he runs an invisible empire of deadly agents, and his mages have caused extreme problems for us and our race as a whole."

Adykon kept from her the full explanation of Dememoras. He was a serious threat from the past, and much more had been explained earlier. It would take a long time to explain it all over again. :blink:

"Oh, so he's like some sort of evil king of some sort?" Violet thought for a second before speaking again "He could be a threat to my people too, so, well, that would be more of a reason for me to stop him too, even if my people don't really trust me"

"So, when do we go anyway?" she decided to ask him instead, now rather curious on when they're to leave.

"He isn't exactly a king... he wants to be an emperor, from what we gather, to be the ruler of ALL the Dracon lands, not just any one of them. And we don't really leave until we settle some business here. First, two of our party members need to return, and then, there will be a wedding. After that, we need to move against Dememoras in conjunction with the forces of Minbenthac. The other cities have been alerted to the perilous situation, but so far, we aren't seeing any cooperation from them." Adykon replied.

"Ah okay" Violet said, even though she didn't understand the last thing of what he told her, she just seemed to smile at him anyway "But a wedding? Wow" her face did seem to light up at hearing that a wedding was to happen "Um, who's invited to the wedding anyway?" she was again, getting curious about something else.

"Everyone in the party is invited, along with the bride and groom's family. There will also be a lot of on-lookers, I imagine" Adykon shuddered at the thought of a huge crowd packing the temple. "After that, we shall have to go on the warpath immediately, possibly even the very next day. I would not condemn you to this against your will. Are you certain you want to expose yourself to those kinds of risks? And where are you from, anyway? How did you get here?"

"Yeah, I mean, if I want to save my village and all, I'll have to be, and besides, I don't think it will be that tough" she told Adykon before going on about her village "Oh, that, well, I'm from the Lycan village of Garson, but how I got here, I paid someone who was heading here to give me a ride in their cart, it was an elf who was happy to help me out"

"So, where is the wedding going to be held? And um, if the whole party is invited.....can I come too?" Violet asked him as she was unsure if that also meant if any late party members were allowed in.

"It will probably be held in the Great Temple of Minbenthac, as was the last wedding before it was crashed by an old foe of ours. And yes, you are invited." Adykon replied. "Was this village some sort of colony for people infected with lycanthropy? Were you born like this?"

"Yeah, we were, I mean, I was born like this" Violet told him with a smile "I guess our village is a bit different than other villages, you know, not being able to change back as far as we know anyway, but yet, it doesn't seem to bother anyone either, especially not me, I like it like this"

"Of course. This palace has many, many rooms. I am sure that if we can all be given a place to sleep, there must be at least one more for you." Adykon told her. "At least you didn't have to walk all the way here, the sand and rocks must be painful after enough time, and your kind doesn't seem to be adapted for the desert."

"Nah, we're not, out village has grass, a river, houses and all that sort of stuff, so no, we don't know about the desert as much, but still having a room would be real nice, so can you find e one? That would be really appreciated" Violet told Adykon with a wag of her tail.
