Eriol looked at the rest of the party. - "I have many enemies but, like Rhiga, I don't think they'll manage to get the help of a mage this strong either. Our unseen enemy may be someone else."

"Okay." Adykon said. "I'm not sure if everyone is telling the truth, but I'm going to go with what you all say. The oracle might clear things up later. If we are being watched now, we might be attacked more the closer we get to our goal. I want everyone to be on guard."

"Well, it is a relief then that we are not going to look for some cataclismic-event object." - Eriol said jokingly. - "But then, if it is not what we are looking for, then maybe someone would be wanting to stop us from something else we could possible found there." - That last part, the Panther said it very seriously, because he agrees with Adykon about more danger will try to stop them.

Kravik & Sivar continued with the party, attempting to be more alert then they have been before.

"We'll find out sooner or later." Kravik said.

A day passed without incident. So far, so good. Then, another day. Nothing, a third day passed. Still nothing. The party refreshed their stores of food and water at a village at an oasis, then continued on. They were still a number of days away from the next city.

At that moment, something went wrong. For some reason, Adykon felt as if he was afflicted by... something. It wasn't a disease; it was more like his mind had been reversed somehow, or at least, a part of it... when he tried to move left, he went right, and when he tried to go right, he went left. He felt confused and disoriented...

This was clearly the work of evil magics sent from afar.
