Rhiga noticed Adykon's trouble "What's wrong? I didn't think you drank too much." she said.

Sivar went over closer to Adykon. "What is wrong?" She asked looking at him closely.

Kravik looked Adykon over from where he was attempting to see if he could tell what was wrong.

Adykon said "Sivar! Can you help me with this? Some dark magic is afflicting me!"

Sivar nodded and went over closer to Adykon to try to cast a Remove Curse on him to try to remove whatever the dark magic was doing and effecting him. Once close she cast the spell onto him.

The spell took effect immediately. Adykon got better, with no trace of there ever having been a problem to begin with.

"Thanks Sivar. I owe you one." Adykon said.

Sivar smiles, "Glad I could be of help & could remove it." She said.

"I wonder if the person may try that again, or on someone else in the group, or if they know the others in the group." Kravik said, partially thinking and partially saying his thoughts.

"We need to be extra vigilant" said Adykon. "Does anyone have a spell which can provide resistance to mental attacks?"

Kravik speaks up, "I do have scry guard and mind shield spells. The scry guard spell makes the person undectable or much harder to be scryed on, and the mind shield spell adds a shield against mind attacks." Kravik says.

The party continued on for a over a week without incident, although the terrain was rough, and trip was tiring. Finally, they reached a place where they could see the city from a distance. Compared to the shining marble and gold domes and towers of the previous city, this one looked drag and dark, although some shiny buildings could be seen from time to time, squeezed between the darker sections.

Jake was thinking about back home, when suddenly Jake's mind went all black and he shuddered.

"uhhh....." yelped Jake

"what's wrong?" asked Sasha

"nothing.....let's just keep going" replied Jake

"Looks like we are getting close." Sivar said, looking at the city in the distance, "Though it doesn't look like a pleasant place." She said.
