"(gasp) How is it that you know my mother?" Rhiga said.

"You know my daughter? Who are y-? Adykon!" Vaeri said.

Kravik used an overland travel spell while falling stop his fall then a phantom steed spell, calling up what looked like a spectral horse (but those who knew of such knew it wasn't really a ghost horse, just a magical spectral construct that looks like it's made of smoke & makes no sound ), so he could quickly get back to where the others were since it could travel far far faster then his very slow overland flight spell.

Vaeri let out a squeal which sounded like a mix between delight and excitement.

"You're alive!" she said. "You survived the war!"

Adykon approached her, and gave her a hug.

Sivar shrugged and went over to where Kravik was arriving. "How are you?" She asked.

"I'd have been goo if not for that spell, though it's the same speed as a jog it is handy and lasts." Kravik said.

"Then you did this one?" Sivar said indicating the horse made of smoke, she had seen some wizards and sorcerers at the temple use the spell before. "I guess since it is much faster." Sivar said to which Kravik nodded, "it sure is." He said.

"I was away at war for a while, and before I left, I knew Vaeri here as a... girlfriend."

"Oh, we were a lot more than that" Vaeri said, with a laugh.

"I left with a mercenary group to go fight for a while to earn some money." Adykon continued. "I had only intended to be gone for six months."

"That's what you told me" Vaeri said.

"But, my unit was taken several times farther away than I thought it would be, and when the war was over, I was trying to get back, but I got... delayed."

"You took on other work?" Vaeri asked.

"Yes. That, and it was difficult for me to make my trip back, given the distance. I would travel from one city to another, getting closer each time."

"Where were you sent to? Originally?" Vaeri asked.

"The far northern coast" Was Adykon's reply.

"Oh. That's on the other side of our lands." Vaeri said. "It would take a long time to return from there."

"The fighting was hard" Adykon said. That part was true.

"It was also much longer than I thought it would be." That part was not true. In fact, the struggle took only a short while.

Rhiga interrupted. "Mother, how do you know Adykon?"

"A few years after you left Hekaga, I met Adykon at an inn" Vaeri said.

"You meet a lot of males at an inn, mother" Rhiga said.

"Yes, but this time was... different." Vaeri responded.

"She saw me more than just one night only." Adykon said.

Vaeri found that humeorus, and her large tiotleglas bounced up and down as she laughed.

Sivar & Kravik got back to where the rest of the group was. "So how is everyone, anyone need healing?" Sivar asked.

"Looks like we have another group member." Kravik said.

"Hello. I don't believe that we have been introduced. My name is Selturma" she said to Vaeri.

"Pleased to meet you." was Vaeri's reply.

"We're on an adventure to find a statue from the lost city." Selturma said.

"Heheh. I've already been on an adventure, or at least, I was captured by that dragon when he launched a raid into Hekaga. Days later, he dropped me here." Vaeri replied.

"He kept calling me a 'morsel'" Vaeri said. "As it is, he was going to eat me. At least my children back home know what to do if I am missing; to go to various neighbors and relatives. It's a good thing I've set that up in case of an emergency."

"But now, fate has brought us together again, Adykon" Vaeri said. "It will all be fine now."

"Wait... you mean to tell me that you have been able to settle down with a single male since I left?" Rhiga said.

"Well... At first, yes. Then, after he left for his mission... I thought he was dead, so I-"

"You are forgiven!" Adykon said, as he wasn't faithful either, but she didn't know that.

"...let's just say this is a new beginning for us, my love." Vaeri said to Adykon. "Do you notice anything different about me now?" She said to him, showing off her lithe body.

"You still look as good as ever." Adykon said with a smile, noticing that the Dragon had taken her clothes from her.

"Maybe we can get a message to your oldest male child or friendly male neighbor who can tell the others you are ok." Kravik said, not being chauvinist, but knowing how dracon society was any of her male children would have more freedom then females would.
