"I guess not you or me have a way to know..." - Eriol said making a swift move on both his swords to expel the excess of blood on them and then storing them back to their sheaths. - "I'll keep following your lead Adykon, just don't get close to me for a while." - he said as he began walking closer to the ruins.

Eriol was a bit away of the rest of the party, he was thinking - "What was about to do? I wanted to kill him... I wanted to kill them all!." - he closed his eyes very hard, baring his teeth. - "I need you Arianne!....". - He kept silent the whole time, and after some moments, he opened his eyes again, and they were not the eyes of an assassin... he is Eriol again now.

The party walked through the ruins, and came to a very straight stretch of road. "This must lead to the lost city" Adykon said.

The part walked onwards, and came to a narrow valley between two mountains. The road stretched on, but there was a gate with walls which was blocking the road.

"Which of you females is best at climbing?" Adykon asked, knowing how good Dracon females were at climbing.

"I think I am" Rhiga said, knowing her past experiences.

"Okay, Rhiga. I need you to climb over the wall and open the gate. Is there any male here who is good at climbing? I can climb myself, but I need to stay here to watch this side of the gate."

Eriol came closer to the group - "I can do it, Rhiga may need the assiatance if there is something in the other side." - The Panther took a moment to take off his sandals and store them in a pocket of his backpack, he then crouched, calculating the distance between nearby rocks and details of the gates he could grab on and gave a big jump, grabbing himself and starting to climb.

Rhiga climbed up the wall as well. Within under a minute, they were both on the other side of the wall.

"You're a pretty good climber" Rhiga said, "You're almost as fast as I am."

Eriol looked at her. - "Thanks. You are very agile too." - Eriol got closer to the gate and began turning the winch.

The gate began to rise, and soon, it was risen and the gate was open.

Eriol gave some steps back, leaning against a wall as he waited for the rest of the party to cross the gates.

Fortunately, no ambush came. The party moved on, going south down the road.

The party looked around, alert and ready to defend itself... but no attack came.

"Perhaps we are being a bit paranoid" Adykon said.

"They've been pretty evil so far and determined." Sivar said.
