Selturma turned a corner and saw some guards on a patrol. When they passed, she gestured for Akito and Eriol to move into the hut where the captives were being held... Selturma quickly joined them once they were all inside. It only took them a moment to quietly knock out the jailer.

From inside the cell, a group of six Fauxen looked up. One of them, with fiery red fur and hair, spoke.
"You...have you come to save us?"
He asked, looking at each in turn...
The other members of the group were a male with distinct black markings resembling glasses, a female with golden-orange fur and hair, a male with dark red fur the color of blood, a female with pale pink hair, and a young male of around Akito's age, with pale sand fur. The last of the group stared at Akito, a small blush on his face...

As the door opened, the six Fauxen stepped out of the cell.
"Thanks. My name's Touga. Touga Hayabusa."
The Red-furred male said, extending a paw.

"I'm Miki Kaoru. Thank you all for saving us."
The male with the glasses-like marks said, bowing his head.

"Juri Asurigawa. I owe you one, I suppose."
The golden-orange furred female said bluntly.

I'm Kyuichi Saionji. And, no, we didn't need your help"
The Blood-furred male said disdainfully...

"Utena. Utena Tenjou. It really is noble of you, risking your lives to come save us like this."
The pink-haired female said kindly.

"Uhm...H-Hi there.. I'm Ruka..."
The sandy-furred boy said, eyes still focused on Akito...

"All of you, come this way, and quietly" Selturma said. The nine of them left the hut, and avoided the patrols... when the time was right, Selturma snatched a torch from a sconce, and threw it up in the air, signaling for the rest of the party to launch a diversionary attack.

Vaeri backed off, as she was a noncombatant.

The nine inside the fort ran out of the fort, going the way they came; the guards were too busy defending the front gate to notice them.

"All of you can climb, right? If you have anything that makes it hard for you to climb, get rid of it now!" Selturma shouted over the din of combat.

Touga and Akito stood at the back of the group, each fighting off encroaching guards. Touga had grabbed a guard's sword, and along with Akito, had managed to keep what guards had not been either slain or distracted off of the group.
"Go! Go! We'll be right behind you guys!"
Akito yelled, slashing a guard down...
As the others climbed, Ruka looked back, then stopped.
"C'mon! Get out of there! We're all safe!"
He yelled, then dropped over the wall...

As the escapees got off the wall, Marcus ran forward to guide them over to the rest of rest of the group. Minna and Ila provided cover by contuing to blast firebvalls into the fort.. now they picked up in intensity and size .."Once we have all you guys out of there.. we need to be on the move..

The large group ran for the cover of the woods. After some time, all of them escaped, and the guards were loathe to chase them, due to their weapons, spells, and sheer numbers.

The party now consisted of Adykon, Jake, Eriol, Minna, Isla, Vaeri, Arianne, Marcus, Selturma, Rex, Sasha, Vespion, Akito, Touga, Miki, Juri, Kyuichi, Utena, and Ruka. Rhiga was still missing...

The party made camp is a clearing in the woods... poor Vespion had to struggle to provide enough food and water for all of them!

Minna collspsed in tthe tent she now had to share with Ilsa. "She yawned heavily.. she was tired from the long journey.. and wanted to rest..

As the group sat, Touga looked around.
"Again, I must thank all of you for what you did. I...We owe you our lives. We were to be executed at daybreak, had you not done as you did. For that, perhaps we can aid you in your quest, if you have one?"
He said, bowing his head...

Ruka had settled sitting next to Akito, resting his head on the other Fauxen's shoulder.

Juri and Utena were seated next to Minna, and were smiling happily.

Kyuichi was off a ways from the group, casting envious looks at them...

Miki sat next to Vespion, looking at him with awe...

All Vespion could conjure were tents, using a lower-powered spell... making that many huts would be too difficult for so many...

Adykon spoke: "You are all welcome to join the party. We are trying to rescue our friend Rhiga... she is being held... somewhere, maybe in this valley. I don't know much about it, only that rescuing her is going to be a lot harder than rescuing you."
