Asthia was cut by the blade, but being as agile as she was, it only gave her a light wound on her side... and ichor, not blood dripped out of it... she seemed to be unhurt, but she was pissed...

Asthia looked at Adykon, still on the ground... she looked at Akito.

"You and Adykon are strong. You two will do just fine tonight." Asthia's tone changed. She used a spell to suspend Akito in the air, and did the same with Adykon, who was still burned badly...

Touga turned, and when he saw Akito trapped in the air, he lunged at Asthia, hoping to rescue the other fauxen as well as Adykon.
"Don't you dare touch him!"
He yelled, swinging his sword in a brilliant slash combination...

Asthia turned with unnatural speed and kicked Touga with her clawed left foot in midair. Dracon females were agile, but THAT level of agility was all but unheard of... and the fact that she could kick so accurately was... unsettling.

This time, Arcantas intervened, firing a bolt of energy at Touga, while Asthia easily doged Utena... then kicked Utena between the legs with amazing speed.

Touga dodged the energy bolt, and threw a set of knives at Arcantas in response.

Utena took the kick with a small oof, but used the momentum to propel herself into the air, swinging her naginata at the two vampires...

And as Akito floated in the air, a strange white armor began to form...

Arcantas managed to deflect the knives with the force of his acid breathe... even as a vampire, he still had that. As the slightly corroded knives fell the the floor, he fired a paralyzing bolt at Utena, freezing her voluntary muscles in mid-air.

Asthia used a spell to open a portal. She seemed like she was giving up the fight for some reason, even though her soldiers were losing the battle to the party. Her power could have turned the fight around, but she seemed more interested in doing something else...

Jake ran at a soldier and took a swing at his head but he missed and the dracon punched Jake in the gut. "oomph! good shot..." he said as he gasped for air

Asthia's portal spell made her lose her concentration on Adykon, who dropped to the ground. He crawled on the ground to get his sword, only to find that it was still red-hot. After burning his fingers, he let out a yelp of pain, which alerted Asthia to his presence on the ground...

"You're not going anywhere" she told him "Not unless I take you there..."

"That will not be that easy, witch!" - Eriol jumped in front of Adykon just a second after slicing the head off of one of the attacking soldiers and fired some arrows, two towards her and one to the ground jsut in front of Asthia, to difficult her movement towards them.

Arianne saw Jake in problems and managed to get closer to him, using a wind spell to throw the soldier away from the teenager human. - "Are you ok, Jake?" - she asked as she was preparing herself for more incoming attackers.

Asthia managed to use a spell which generated a quick flash of blue-green light which stopped the attack on her. It was close, however, and ever her reflexes were stretched to their limit...

"Darn, I almost got her." - Eriol thought as he reloaded his crossbow yet again. As he finished doing that, he quickly grabbed one of his swords and he lend it to Adykon as he looked back at him - "It is not much Adykon, but at least it may help until your sword gets cold enough."

Adykon attacked Asthia saying "You can't beat me, female! You may have magic, but at the end of the day, you're nothing but a-" Arcantas blasted Adykon in the back with an energy blast, knocking him out for Asthia.

To avoid Asthia from just attacking Adykon, Eriol fired two more arrows as he jumped back to the Dracon Mercenary - "You know, if you were going to say what I think, in my homeland then you deserve what you got." - He made a devious smile - "Now stand up Adykon! those two cannot fight forever, magic consumes more energy than just making normal attacks like we do!" - after that, Eriol charged towards Asthia, with his crossbow in one hand and his other sword in the other hand.

OOC: I was tempted to make Eriol go to where Adykon fell and tell him "Adykon, you were Rick-rolled."

Using more effort, Asthia managed to block the arrows with her magic... she seemed a bit winded, although much of this was due to the effort of making the portal, rather than blocking attacks.

"Fool! I can get more power by draining it!" And with that, Asthia conjured a bright green tendril out of magical energy which wrapped itself around Adykon's arm. When it hit the Dracon, it changed color to glow a golden color... and after a moment, Adykon no longer had the strength to stand up. He was alive, but unconscious.

"That witch..." - Eriol commented for himself. - "What the hell do you want from him!? don't you just get enough with Rhiga!?" - The Panther was getting mad at the situation, and ran to attack the tendril, but he was unsuccessful, so he quickly crouched and grabbed his other sword from Adykon's hand and ran towards Asthia. - "If I cannot cut the tendril, then I may cut YOU instead!" - and he made his attack.

"Oh, I'll be getting something alright, but I need a male to do that!" Asthia said, laughing. A second tendril came out of her left arm and acted as a whip, knocking the sword out of Eriol's hands. With the tendril still wrapped around him, Adykon was thrown into the portal...
