Vespion, Jake, Sasha, Rex, Isla, Minna, and Adykon searched the tower for Gerasia. Adykon had known of her...
(Flashback)
Adykon paced back and forth in the corridors of the tower. Asthia had geased him hours ago. He had no ability to attack her directly... but he could still... get very mad.
"DAMN IT!!" the mercenary shouted as he kicked a bronze pot into the wall. "How did this happen?!" He thought. "This can't... this can't be happening! No... calm down Adykon... calm... down." Even as he thought this, he could feel Asthia's geas in his mind... it was almost too much to bear... he hated her for this... hated her... but at the same time, he felt a weird, warped sense of her longing for him in his head... a twisted desire...
Stumbling into a room with a bed, no knowing or caring whose it was, Adykon collapsed on the cushion. Asthia had made it so that he couldn't attack her or anyone who was part of her household... servants, guards, and guests were among those immune to him...
About an hour later, Adykon woke when he felt the rather annoying sensation of a kobold servant poking him with its claw. "Get up, you! You're sleeping in Gerasia's bed, and it's almost time for her nap!" Being annoyed by the kobold but unable to retaliate, Adykon got up from the bed and left the room. The kobold walked away.
Wanting to know who this "Gerasia" was, Adykon waited near the room, and saw the most shocking thing he had ever seen in the whole tower as of yet... Asthia was carrying a Dracon girl in her arms, a girl who clung to the mage as if she were her mother... and even more surprising was that Asthia, who paid no attention to Adykon, set the girl down in the bed, put her under the covers, and gave her a kiss... only then did she care about the stunned warrior who was watching the whole spectacle.
"Gerasia is my child, Adykon... why do you look so surprised?" the vampiress asked.
"You... you can't produce children! You're not even living" Adykon responded.
"And neither is she... the child was from a tribe... but she's mine now... passed from the land of the living... I took her from them myself... and I'm not giving her back..."
"I... can't take her from you..." Adykon said.
"You really cant't. The Geas prevents that." Asthia said to him. "I know what you warriors are like... you all have illegitimate children in some slum somewhere... even if one in a hundred mating made a child, you'd have at least a couple by your mid-thirties... but now, Adykon... you are going to be Gerasia's FATHER!"
Adykon was stunned, his jaw literally dropped open. "You... CAN'T! I'm not her father! I'm NOT your husband! Hell, you're NOT even her mother! You can't DO this! This is ALL WRONG! You can't-!"
"I already have, my love, and there's nothing you can do about it... it's gonna happen... whether you like it or not!" Asthia remarked.
(End Flashback)
"So, you understand what we have to do, Vespion?" Adykon queried.
"Yes... get her out of here!" The cleric replied.
